Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food, top-notch service. We ordered appetizers and one Tapas dish - the tapas dish was enough for 2 and the appetizers could easily have been shared among 3 or even 4 people. The Duck Quesadilla was exceptional, as was the fried artichoke tapas plate. Service was incredible prompt but unobtrusive. Perfect evening.

Great reuse of a former church. Excellent food and drink options, many using locally sourced products.

As someone with multiple food intolerances, it's incredibly rare to find a restaurant that can truly accommodate dietary restrictions, but Terrapin exceeds all expectations. Their menu offers an impressive variety, from tapas to desserts, with options that cater to different needs. On top of that, they prioritize supporting local farms and provide grass-fed, grain-finished, and organic selections. The freshness and flavor of the food are outstanding—everything is thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious!

My recent dining experience at Terrapin Restaurant was absolutely phenomenal, and much of the credit goes to our outstanding server, Patrick B. From the moment we were seated, Patrick delivered impeccable service with a warm and professional demeanor that made the evening truly special. Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. The Spicy Fig Margarita and Brooklyn Manhattan were perfectly crafted, and Patrick’s insight into the flavor profiles was spot-on. His attention to detail was evident in every course—ensuring our Maple-Brined Pork Chop and Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib Gratinée were served to perfection. Patrick’s timing was flawless, and his friendly yet unobtrusive service made us feel like VIPs. The meal concluded with the Warm Berry Cake, which was a heavenly recommendation that we’ll remember for a long time. Terrapin Restaurant is already a gem in Rhinebeck, but it’s servers like Patrick who elevate the experience to another level. If you’re dining here, be sure to ask for Patrick—you won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to return.

Ate at the bistro. Food, service were good. Pleasant experience. A little pricey for what it was but I'd recommend this place.

The food was great. We went early on a Thursday and the dining room was empty. So very quiet for us. I know it gets very crowded on weekend nights, especially during the summer. The vegetarian and vegan options are abundant and delicious. Something for everyone.

Amazing food, amazing service, friendly employees. That's all we could have asked for.

Hands down the best food I've ever had. The pork was delicious. The sweet potatoes melted in my mouth - which isn't something I would think of sweet potatoes for, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. The wait staff was great and took good care of us. The decor of the restaurant was beautiful and nothing felt out of place. I will be going again even though I live 4+ hours away.

My husband and I had a great dinner here. We showed up early for our reservation and they were able to seat us early even though it was packed. The food was delicious! We loved everything that we ordered. I had the pumpkin risotto and my husband had seared tuna. Highly recommend both! The cocktails and dessert were great as well! Would definitely love to come back again

The church setting is incredible inside and out. The interior design touches are earth tones clearly from the 90s, but they still work with the natural, farm-to-table vibe. Great cocktails and food. The build-your-own sandwiches are unique and delicious

One of my favorite spots when in upstate. The salmon dish is amazing 😋 The building is incredibly beautiful. I was told it used to be a church which transitioned into a restaurant.

Excellent food and ambience. Maybe the best pork chop I have ever had in a restaurant!!! No kidding, and I have eaten in a LOT OF PLACES!! Also the sweet potato gratin was amazinggggg.

Hands down, one of the most incredible dining experiences my wife and I have had to this day. Our server, Patrick, was funny, personable, and attentive. The whole staff had such a warm energy. The food was absolutely delicious. The spinach and artichoke dip was the best we have ever had. The blueberry cake was also ridiculously good. We will be dreaming about this meal for years to come.

We've been in Millbrook and at 10pm realized how hungry we were. And it was the closest place to eat that open until midnight! Our burgers were super delicious. There are some bread options, so we tried that one on a picture.

E

The food was quite good in this cavernous, interesting space. It's a little pricey for the atmosphere, but the tapas and entrees were delicious and ample in portion. Servers were constantly circulating, and we were well taken care of by ours.

Pretty pleasant overall. Both our dishes were really good and was just enough food to fill us up. The half and half cocktail is awesome. Service was pretty good as well. We definitely have to come back and try some other things on the menu.

Great meal and service! I had a perfectly cooked double-cut pork chop served with sweet potatoes and spinach. I took half of the meal home. Lucky me! I get around 2. I'm so excited 😊 My friend had a turkey sandwich served on a brioche bun with 1/2 order of fries and salad. She loved all of it

We were out on one of our road excursions, where we just drive to an area to explore. We stopped to have lunch here. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing. Great menu to choose from. Our server was incredible. Our appetizer mistakenly came out at the same time as our food. Both the server and manager were apologetic. They comped the appetizer, which was a nice gesture. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I took my fiance here for his birthday dinner. We sat at the bar and enjoyed some Kentucky bourbon drinks. Once our reservation time came we moved to the dining room, what a beautiful place and atmosphere. The waitor was such a fun character, he was the perfect balance of funny/friendly and personable. He was spot on with his recommendations. I enjoyed the maple double pork chop while my fiance had the short ribs. Dear God it was fantastic. We also were blown away by the macadamia fried calamari. Totally worth the time, money and beautiful memory made here.

Great eclectic pub-like food served by a friendly staff. Fish and Chips were good. The falafel salad wad great. The short rib nachos were excellent. For desserts, the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake was superb. The Cookie Ice Cream sandwiches were just okay. The prices were fair and the service was good.

Very cool architecture. Nice selection of local beers, menu was clearly marked for dietary restrictions and had several options. We tried items from their tapas, salads, soups, pasta, and vegetarian menu options. The crispy artichokes were shockingly good, it's wonderful to see a vegan option for butternut soup, and the puttanesca had a great zip to it.

Terrapin is a wonderful family owned restaurant. The food is always delicious, as are the drinks. I recommend making a reservation for dinner hours, lunch is a bit easier, but I still use their online reservation service just to be on the safe side. There are several different areas to eat in at the church converted restaurant, all of them are lovely.

When initially browsing the menu online I knew my party of 4 would enjoy...and my oh my did it live up to expectations! Our group started with the ahi tuna and the goat cheese spinach/artichoke dip at the recommendation of Patrick, our waiter. He was spot on! For those of you that have yet to be graced with Patrick as your waiter I'll explain. His personality is the epitome of a fine dining waiter. He recommends and you would be silly not to just let him order for you. Every single dish/drink he suggested was very very good. The sour cherry bourbon manhattan and blueberry bramble were hits with our group, not surprisingly a must try according to Patrick. Then it came to dinner choices. Patrick said we must try the porkchop and Peking duck and I'm so glad we did. The pasta was also ordered with our group and was delicious as well. We capped our night with mixed berry cake and cheesecake with accompaniments on the side, another spot on recommendation from Patrick. The takeaway from this review should be Terrapin is a must try when in the Hudson Valley area. If you have the pleasure of being waited on by Patrick you are in for a treat!

Terrapin in Rhinebeck is the spot to go, if you want good food and an even more amazing friendly place. Went on a rather late Sunday night, and decided to have deserts and some drinks. Our waiter, for the life of me I can't remember the fellas name, took amazing care of us. He sat with us, gave us drink recommendations along with two extra desserts 🍨 to try. The drinks were well poured, not too strong and not too weak, which is a good thing. The deserts, mmmmh that damn cheesecake, are dangerously good. All in all 5 🌟 for this place, from your buddy Gingie. Check 'em out!

Lovely dinner with my wife. She enjoyed her pumpkin seed crusted king salmon and I enjoyed my blue cheese crusted filet mignon. I just regret not asking for my filet medium rare. Not their fault. Our spinach artichoke dip was also delicious. Our service was also energetic and on point. Our dishes would appreciate just a little more mash than provided. Pics look like a hefty portion of mash but it's not. We'll be back as always. 4.5 out 5

Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Drinks- 5/5 Value- 5/5 Terrapin is a must stop if you are taking a trip to the Hudson Valley. The food is delectable; the pictures don’t do it justice. (The restaurant lights were dim so I don’t think my pictures were the best.). We basically ordered all the main “meats” and shared amongst our group and boy, we were not disappointed. The drinks were fantastic; we had great pours and recommendations from the wait staff. And the ambiance incredible. The meal is not cheap, but you are paying for quality and that’s what you get. It was a fun and delicious meal.

I love this restaurant, it’s one of my favorites of all time but my boyfriend and I only go during restaurant week because it is pretty expensive. The food and drinks are always amazing. I got the rosé sangria which was delicious and sweet. The duck quesadilla was super creamy and the mango guacamole with it was heavenly. I also got the short rib which I ate with just a fork and it melted in my mouth. We took the dessert to go and it was a French toast pound cake of some sort. During restaurant week, you can get just the appetizer and entree and it will be $34.95; with a dessert, it’s $44.95. Highly recommend, the food is always so good. We also always make a reservation on OpenTable.

My husband and i have been coming here for years. Bistro dining, outdoor and main room dining- we have done it all. Every time is fantastic and we’ve always had good service but no one is as remarkable as Patrick! We dined with him for the first time in the main room and are still raving about his excellence. He truly cares about your experience and we couldn’t have asked for better. We can’t wait to see Patrick again!

Terrapin is a jewel in the crown of Hudson Valley dining. I'd wanted to go for years and finally made time to go for Valentine's Day with my wife. Everything was awesome: The service was top-tier (shoutout to Jessica -- great menu knowledge, speed, efficiency), every dish was spectacular and arrived speedily, drinks were excellent too. Management was present in the trenches and making guests feel special. Highly recommend for any special occasion or anytime.

We enjoyed our visit here and had a great lunch and cocktails. The prices were fair, the food and drinks were spot on and the server was friendly. We had only wished to eat at a larger dining room type table but that area didn't open until 5 and the owners were in there clearly enjoying what we wanted to at that time of day haha, we get it. They own it do what you want, but others would enjoy the same thing you were enjoying at that time of day just instead of the tiny little tables available - FYI. Highly recommend the location and we will be back.

What a wonderful restaurant and what a wonderful meal we had. This restaurant is in a former church and has a great vide and atmosphere. Our server was excellent. The food was excellent. I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had the chicken as recommended by our server when she was trying to decide between 2 dished and it was excellent, with wonderful flavor. Well cooked with a nice crust on the outside and juicy and moist on the inside. Will definitely eat here again if we visit Rhinebeck again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been going to Terrapin Restaurant for many years, back when I also spent a lot of time at The Caravan, and Terrapin has always been one of my favorite places in Rhinebeck. What I love most is that Terrapin offers both formal dining and a more relaxed, non-formal experience, depending on what you’re in the mood for. No matter where you sit, the food is consistently excellent—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between elegant and comfortable, making it just as appropriate for a special occasion as it is for a casual meal. Service is professional and attentive without feeling stuffy. Terrapin remains a true Rhinebeck staple and a place I return to again and again. Consistently outstanding and always five-star.

We had the Christmas Eve dinner, the atmosphere were really nice, the food was also delicious. Overall, might go back if we are in the area! I really liked my stake but one of our friend had asked for medium-well and the stake was cooked to well done and was a bit dry. The ribeye was also really delicious and melted in your mouth.

This place has it all! The service is spot on! The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was very casual but still had a hint of church charm! The smoked onions on a burger is a must! I choose the sourdough toast and it was a great choice! Prices are comparable to other local fare but I think the service is top notch! Lastly the cutlery is the best I’ve seen in a restaurant by far!

Terrapin was absolutely wonderful! We were in the area for parents weekend (boarding school)and had our teenage daughter with us. My wife and I were thoroughly tired of eating on the run and I had an injured arm. Patrick, was our server. He was kind, intuitive and virtually knew what we wanted before we did. The food was wonderful but frankly, Patrick made the experience for us. We can't thank him enough! We are most certainly going to Terrapin again and would recommend it to anyone. Whether you want to dress it up or down, it truly has a chameleon like atmosphere. It's warm and inviting. Good Vibes Abound! Love it!

This place is always a solid choice. The food is consistently good and reliable, and they have great vegetarian and vegan options. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the quality makes it worth it. Eveytime I come to Terrapin it has always been a wonderful experience, no visit to Rhinebeck is complete without stopping here. An old church converted restaurant bistro/bar, sparks enough intrigue to pull you in. The food ranges from comfort, to extravagant restaurant quality without breaking the bank. I dined alfresco at the bistro, and it was just a beautiful scene with incredible food, a staff that had a hip, cool, laid back vibe (Thanks Nick!). The caribbean bean and rice dish is such a winner everytime, not to be complete without Creme Brulee and a coffee before hitting the road. The menu choices, the vibe, the price point, and the staff accomodate everyones needs. Visiting Terrapin at Rhinebeck definitely makes me feel like I've been transported out of New York in a good way. I will definitely be back!

Our return after one year. The menu has been changed. Although we were looking for our favorite appetizers, we discovered new ones that totally hit the spot. Food was good! A little above your average bistro food with some twists but the drinks were extremely good and we had a crème brûlée that was the best that we ever had. The best part of the experience was our server Ashley, she made my time there very enjoyable with her super warm attitude, friendly, and attentive service. I’m writing this review solely for her, she is truly so amazing and I highly recommend going there just for the sole experience of her service alongside with the amazing food, drinks and desserts!

Stopped in for dinner without a reservation and it was chilly out so we didn’t want to sit outside. The hostess found us a seat and so glad she did. The ambiance is amazing just like the food. We went to Terrapin last night and really enjoyed the overall vibe. The place has a great atmosphere, and the staff were respectful and attentive throughout. I had a solid IPA to start, and for appetizers we tried the goat cheese-filled wontons and lamb chops—both were decent, not amazing, but fine. The standout was the braised short ribs—perfectly cooked and seasoned, served with creamy mashed potatoes. If you’re in the mood for a classic burger, ask for it medium rare with Gouda cheese—totally worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back. A cozy spot with good food, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe.

I'm always amazed when I walk inside. 5 adults and a baby went for dinner and it was fantastic. The food was brought out very promptly without feeling rushed. You have to get the pork chop medium, absolutely delicious. I did not care too much for the sauce on the mashed potatoes with steak and my MIL loved her salmon, complementing many times that it was cooked perfectly.

The atmosphere question is a hard one to answer. It depends on what kind of atmosphere you’re looking for if you wanna just have a quiet intimate chat, this is not your place. I can imagine it’s a fun place to be on a cooler day on a Friday or Saturday evening. The food was good. The chef knows what they’re doing - the flavors are great and they play well together. The servers were friendly and polite but as a team lacked cohesion… a little scattered. Stop service was good

Though loud, it is nice to sit outside. Delicious Tapas of crispy artichoke, & crusted ahi, with chimichurri & horseradish aioli. Virgin pineapple Moscow mule with ginger beer delightful. Dined May 1 2025, our first visit. Bottom line: food excellent, service/attentiveness/attitude not top notch. Tapas appetizers -- wontons with goat cheese, and patatas bravas. Both very good. Entrees were grilled chicken which menu said came with asparagus which my wife loves, so she ordered the chicken. I had Hudson Duck breast matched with two crepes containing duck confit. Excellent. Drinks were interesting. Menu is on the expensive side but we knew that going in. As for staff service: the apparent maitre d' lady was grimly working on something at the "welcome" desk and she curtly said she's be with us very soon. After a minute or so of not so much as a glance at us, a passing waitress took us in hand and seated us. Thank you Miss! Our waiter could not be described as attentive -- took a while for him to ask us for our drink order. Tapas showed up promptly and we enjoyed them. Then a bit of a long wait, looking at the clock, before a young lady brought the entrees (I don't understand why our waiter doesn't bring the food, a common issue in restaurants nowadays, which sometimes leads to confusion like the following). My wife noticed that her vegetable was brussel sprouts not the asparagus she was looking forward to. The young lady who delivered the plates was confused by my wife's protest, so she went and got our waiter who carried the plate back to our table and asked my wife "What's wrong with this?" That's not a good attitude. She told him the menu promised asparagus. He seemed stumped by this and stood for a bit, and finally said, without a smile, "we can do asparagus" and he disappeared with the plate before my wife could ask how long it was going to take. She waited while I enjoyed my duck. After a moderate wait her entree came to the table, with asparagus and she enjoyed it. After dinner I asked for cappucino while our table was being cleared. It was fetched promptly, but no dessert menu was offered. Our waiter appeared to be having a nice chat with someone standing in a doorway across the room. After a noticeable wait he returned to our table and I asked for the dessert menu. Finding nothing enticing we asked for the check. After leaving the check, he did not return so I went to the lady at the Welcome Desk to pay. She said her computer was down and she would have to go to another register to print our check. We were able to pay promptly and leave without being delayed further. Our staff service experience did not match up to the glowing reviews. The restaurant was NOT full/busy. At Terrapin's pricing and high food quality, we felt the service/attitude was not carrying its weight.

Everything we tried was very tasty and enjoyable. Lamp chop, empanada made with ricotta and pumpkin or butternut squash, burger, ravioli with similar filling to empanada, sundried tomatoes, cream sauce and candied pecans.

Very popular bistro serving up sport on the tv behind the bar, good food, good drink and on the most part good service. As the lunch shift finnish the service was none existent, thank god for the next shift, our waiter literally saved the service. Very friendly, attentive and easy to get on with. I went for a build your own sandwich opting for the half pound burger. Lovely to be offered a choice of how I can get it cooked. I opted for med rear to be told I could go all the way to Blue if I wanted so I swapped to rare. Burger came out well done. This was quickly fixed for me and was delish as where the fries. The mac n cheese was not greasy but could have done with some flavour. I'd have gone 4.5 if half stars were an option but next time in town I'll definitely be back.

A creative menu with good food. Skinny little fries that pack a flavorful punch..I enjoyed the little heat on the fries. Service friendly.

A cool building with good solid bistro fare and friendly staff. The veggie crepe was delicious, as was their mesclun salad. Two minor critiques of the place is the nosiness of the street (if you’re eating outdoors) and that the salad dressing was a tad bit too salty. I would definitely return!

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Terrapin recently. The building itself was once an old church, very cool vibes with high ceilings. Our waiter was a true professional very friendly and helpful. Nice wine and signature drink selections too. Food was delicious. We split a fig/brie cheese quesadilla and caesar salad for appetizers then I had a double cut pork chop for dinner which was very thick and tender (I took half home) My friend had a Filet which she stated was one of the best she had ever had, I of course tried some and agreed. We ate in the dining room but there is also a bar/bistro section too which has televisions and I believe offers a different menu. Will definitely come back when in Rhinebeck again.

Despite the beautiful architecture, unique interior design, expansive menu, lovely outdoor patio space, friendly staff and speedy service, and good drinks…the food here was unfortunately a disappointment. I got the salmon with potatoes and seasonal veggies entree, hubby got the steak with fries and we got our toddler the sliders off the kid menu. They were the best thing! The salmon was pretty good, cooked perfectly and seasoned somewhat, but the potatoes we undercooked, chalky, and bland. They taste like they get kept uncovered in the fridge and thrown on the plate without being reheated first. The steak entree was my biggest problem. Probably the worst steak I’ve ever ordered from a restaurant. Didn’t have one spec of seasoning on it, not even a sprinkle of salt at least as a garnish. I hate to be the “I know what I’m talking about because such and such” kind of a person, but I *did* work in a butcher shop for many years and I know my way around beef. And the menu did say it was a NY strip with a fig vinegar reduction, but it was completely dry. I’d be willing to give this place another try, but it felt like the kitchen staff was cutting corners that day, and it was not nearly busy enough to justify that. The drinks were yummy though!

I really enjoyed my meal here (the duck quesadilla), but my boyfriend was unhappy with his duck sandwich because of how messy it was and that it didn’t seem well prepared. Outside of that the staff was excellent, very very nice and helpful when providing info on some menu items. On top of all this the restaurant also looks really cool on the inside and outside.

The food was prepared well and the vibe is great. We went as a large group for a company outing. I was convinced to order something different than what I wanted and this probably wasn’t the best choice on my part, however the food was very well prepared and spiced. Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal. A colleague ordered the pork chop which looked great. I had an after dinner latte also which was very tasty and well foamed. Overall I would return if I was in the area and the occasion appropriate. The venue is quite nice and architecturally interesting.

We love the golden nugget squash soup...its just taste really good. And the rest of the food was okay. Staff was great too, very informative and accommodating. The place was an old church turn to be a restaurant... it's great to see it being restored.

I recently dined at Terrapin bistro and what I like most was the decor. The service was average. Our party of six ordered various drinks and dishes. Some enjoyed their entrees and the portions were generous. I ordered a chicken sandwich with seasoned fries which were good; however, the chicken was a little dry.

Had the lamb chops, duck quesadilla, drunken shrimp, asian bbq wings, mushroom soup, salmon, steak, burger, steak sandwich, fries and tiramisu and everything was delicious. Great staff and service and interesting ambiance as it was formerly a church.

This place is all about the ambiance. The renovated church is spacious and airy, and the space has great dim lighting. It is however super packed, and when I visited there wasn't sufficient staff, so service was extremely slow, and they got one order wrong. They completely forgot about our table for 30 minutes after we finished the meal, so we ended up leaving without dessert. The food is fine, very interesting on paper, but the execution is nothing to call home about at this price point.

I didn't mind the crowd, but the area with the glass case, where you pay was very narrow. Ironically it reminded me of the part in Willy Wonka where they shuffle into that weird hallway room, get stuck at the end, and then start rotating back out. I got a piece of Halloween fudge with assorted candy pieces on top and it was good except there was a mentos-looking piece that was jawbreaker hard. If I hadn't bitten so slowly I could've easily chipped a tooth. Odd topping choice for a soft food.

Terrapin was a destination spot to grab lunch between a couple parties of friends that wanted a new place to explore. I was excited to check this restaurant out because I was intrigued that it was a former church. We called ahead of time to reserve a table and they were very accommodating; we were traveling from different directions and they sat part of our party at a table before having a complete reservation. I thought that was really nice as they seemed pretty busy. I was so impressed by the spooky season decor upon entering! Also it is really nice inside- tall ceilings with ornate wood detailing and the lighting at the bar was warm and inviting. Different table options for different size parties too. I think it’s also great that they have some form of parking- it is pretty limited and Terrapin is on a busy street. We got lucky that someone was pulling out as we arrived, otherwise parking may have been not so easy to find on the street, especially on a weekend. Something to be mindful of if you’re visiting. Service was great and very prompt. We had a knowledgeable server who made suggestions as well, and loved the support staff who were attentive, kept our table tidy, and replaced silverware between courses (something I find can be rare when you go out to eat nowadays for some reason). Never felt pressured to order rounds of drinks either, though collectively between the five of us, we all ordered at least 3 courses each and a round of drinks, so we made sure to take care of them. There were vegetarian options, one of which is pictured here. I would have wished for the portion to be slightly larger, but I was satisfied with ordering another side/appetizer. The flavor was good, very Earthy, I would have preferred if it was more of the Latin flare that was written in the description, but it was still delicious and super fresh! The deserts are all amazing, we got a bunch to share but I only managed to get a photo of these tasty ice cream sandwich cookies that they baked in house. They were soft, warm, and so delicious! The bathroom was very clean, and smelled good too- something I think can make or break an experience. There was a neat outdoor garden/dining area that was fully tented in just off of the parking lot. I’m sure it’s nice to kick back in there in the summer, and look forward to returning again for a visit!

Great place to have a stake and enjoy the interior while dinning. Due to history of this place you still can feel church vibes while dining. The building originally was built circa 1825 for the First Baptist church of Rhinebeck. Food is great, I love stakes and chops and they definitely know how to cook them. Service is poor, so don’t expect something outstanding as once waiter just forgot about us and another time we got slightly warm food. Worth visiting, but service could be better.

Went there for the FIRST and LAST time. We love the history of it being the first Baptist church ever made in Rhinebeck. I loved how they kept it in tact after all these years. The service was stale as well as the mood of the people. I even asked for special requirements for my mom's birthday and they didn't do shit. The waiter wasn't even attentive and yet it was a ghost town in there. Food had limited choices and it was overpriced for the things they made. I had a cesear salad with chicken so it's not hard to mess up to say the least. As a food critic it didn't wow me or my family to say the least.

m
maggie ho

We had high hopes, unfortunately it did not deliver. Everything was just a bit over done and needed some more salt. We ordered the drunken shrimp, NY strip with miso butter and Short Ribs. Sadly my steak was tough, when I asked for medium rare. My husband barely ate his short ribs, only the mashed potatoes and spinach sides. The cocktails were average, very prescriptive and not very memorable.

P
Preston Leigh

Friendly professional service. The mash potatoes and gravy are good, the Mac and Cheese does not have enough cheese and has no taste, the collard greens were undercooked. The white meat fried chicken was juicy and tender, but the skin was hard and not crispy.

P
Pamela Pelkey

The fries are good. My son wasn't impressed with his fish tacos. My burger was fine, nothing special. My other son said his veggie burger was good. The sauces were very good. We had the calamari and duck appetizers. They were good but overpriced. I didn't feel the tapas were worth the money. It was a nice lunch but expensive.

R
Ralph

The tapas are ridiculously small. 2 bites at most. For like $6 . Atmosphere is orange. Like an arizona tourist painting. Service was ok for a Thursday afternoon. Just wasnt impressed with the overall vibe. The tomato confit and burrata salad was great. The duck quesodilla was so small. I understand small plates, to order, but this quesodilla was sitting under a hot lamp for like an hour before i got it. Service was fine overall. I will most likely come back to try dinner if i am in that area again.

M
Mike Bishop

There's no denying how great the food is, just be prepared for the price. Our only inconvenience is the service. The restaurant was 30% full, but it took us 20+minutes to get our drinks. We ordered tapas and they got our order wrong. Saving grace was Johnny who caught our vibe and checked on us (wasn't even our server). Give that man a raise.

C

Great atmosphere on the patio for lunch, but unfortunately the service and food were both underwhelming, especially considering the price. It felt very overpriced for the quality. I ordered the asparagus, grapefruit, avocado, tart cherry, pine nut, and little gem lettuce salad with shrimp added—it came out to $30, yet it was missing both the avocado and the cherries entirely. The chicken karaage was the most expensive one I have seen anywhere at $22.

A

We got spare rib nachos, ahi tuna sandwich and a turkey sandwich. The spare rib nachos were different then expected but pretty good. We got a full size and they were very filling. Ahi tuna sandwich was not the ahi tuna I was expecting but instead looked like normal canned tuna. As for the turkey sandwich I was very disappointed. I expected a turkey cutlet but instead got dry deli meat. The bun was toasted nicely but everything in between was cold. The seasoning on the fries was good but unfortunately most of them were hard as rocks. The food came out fast but the service could have been a little bit more attentive. The atmosphere of this place was cute and as pictured. With minor improvements this place could be really good but as it is now the food is not worth the steep price.

D

Best calamari appetizer I’ve ever had. Macadamia nut encrusted, so light, crispy and divine. Couldn’t get a picture we ate them so fast. Ordered the $46 New York strip steak which was the worst steak I’ve ever eaten. So Fatty that it was unchewable and actually hard to cut. Ordered medium rare and it was medium. way overcooked. Should have sent it back to the kitchen and gotten the pork chop, which my friend ordered. Or a hamburger. Mashed potatoes a bit dry. Sauteed spinach ordinary. Waiter, Nick, was adorable. Ice Cream sandwiches and tiramisu homeruns.

E
Ell J

Food is overpriced and overrated. The mini burger is a 2"x3" triangle of meat with 5lbs of onions on top. We were on the patio (not by choice). So many flies and a bee that would not leave us alone. The waitress put a mini fan on our very small table, which did not help. Staff appear robotic (AI). Lol, kind of creepy. One and done for us.

S
Summer Sia

Good service, but food is weird. The short rib was so bland. The cheese crisp that it was served with even had more flavor. Wasabi artichokes was just weird. The spinach artichoke was good. Salmon was alright.

D
Doron Magen

A nicely decorated large space. Unfortunately, the food was basic and not good enough for the price. The service was the biggest issue. It was painfully slow. Finally, we declined having dessert and asked for the check. Despite having declined the dessert the waiter brought us some cake because we “must have it” which is a nice gesture, but he did not bring the check as well. We had to ask for the check again and the whole ordeal took about extra 30 minutes we had to stay in the restaurant for a dessert we did not want and after we asked for the check so we could leave.

I don't get why people like this place so much. Maybe restaurant has better cooks (we ate at bistro), but when we went to have lunch, the food was a big letdown. The fish and chips had undercooked butter, and the eggplant sandwich was too greasy and tasted bland. To make matters worse, the place looked shabby, with peeling paint and an overall sense of neglect. Don't be fooled by the good reviews and the nice exterior. You can find better food for less money elsewhere. Yes, this place is not great, and it's pricey.

N

Very poor experience for a Saturday lunch. Arrived to a moderately busy bistro / bar area, but got a table right away. The problems started from there. Long time before anyone took our drink order, even longer for our drinks to arrive. Felt strange when the table seated after us received their entrees and placed a desert order before our app showed up, but made more sense once our waitress admitted she just plain forgot to put the app in. We said to just forget it and they took some off our bill, but the damage was done. Didn't help the entrees also turned out to be mediocre, Disappointing as we expected this to be one of the highlights of our day.

Gianni Cavicchi

I wish this place was better. Amazing decor and the food is good but the service was confused. We had a check presenter dropped on our table that wasn't ours (btw we were still eating our entrees) I had to flag someone down and tell them this wasn't our check.... The response was "well would you like your check?" It was 8:30pm on a Thursday.

The restaurant was very busy, but our servers were wonderful— friendly, attentive, and accommodating. We managed to find seats in the bar area, which worked out fine. I was really looking forward to bringing my parents here after reading all the great reviews. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially given the prices. The mushroom soup was decent but felt overpriced at $15 for a medium bowl. The arugula salad with roasted bell peppers was fine, though $19 seemed steep for the portion. The salmon was cooked nicely but lacked seasoning, and the fish tacos had good flavor, though the tortillas were served cold (a quick toasting would’ve helped). Overall, the service and atmosphere were great, but the food could use some improvement to match the value.

Food is ok but pre-fix menu was forced weekend of college graduations (coincidence?) and it was a ripoff. They claimed pre-fix menu only and for $85pp this weekend parties of 5 or more. Pre-fix was 54% higher than off the ala carte menu posted at the entrance - when you add up the same items. They didn’t tell us when making reservation and there was no signage stating this exception to the posted menu. Typically pre-fix is cheaper than ala carte - not the other way around. Not worth it - there are much better restaurants in the area and no price gouging.

y
yaron tikotzky

So the food was nothing more than OK. For example- I had a NY strip steak which was nothing more than you can get at Applebee’s (no disrespect). But that’s irrelevant. Why? Because it took 20 min since we were sat at the table until they got our order, and another 50 min until they served us. Atmosphere - non existing. This place is a big mess hall that caters to large groups. Consequently, couples (like us) get lost and not really treated as expected. Short version: skip it.

K
Kyle Carter

Went for their valentine’s day special, and it was not worth the $89/entree. My partner ordered a mezcal margarita that was $25 and it tasted like a basic tequila and soda. The food was decent at best, and the server stopped by the table twice. Overall would not recommend.
