Staff gentile, torte gustose posto tranquillo e bella musica!
Piccolo bar, accogliente, molto gentili i gestori
Hi, I'm Virginio Gallo. This morning I took 3 delicious soft brioches and they are fresh. Excellent service and the girls always with a smile on their lips. I recommend it to all of you. Very clean environment. It will be my favorite place.
Excellent, professional, and very courteous staff, all helpful, friendly, and communicative. Their warm hospitality, combined with their excellent croissants and cappuccino, create a perfect start to the day. Thank you🙏 P.S. Always and forever long live cash, which undoubtedly remains the one and only guarantee of being able to always buy what you want, anywhere in the world. ✌️
Professionalism: I think that's what you expect of many, including baristas. From the reviews, this place is divisive. In my opinion, that's normal: someone who works with passion is unlikely to be liked by everyone. Every time I pass through Rho, I get breakfast and a packed lunch there. A piece of Italy that works, which would be nice to copy and paste.
5 stars because it is very efficient and fast in serving a lot of people, and has everything a commuter needs, like coffee and Cappuccino take away, lighters, paper handkerchiefs, bus tickets. Prices are OK, not expensive.
Very nice
I asked for pink sauce on my toast. The bartender didn't do it, and I only noticed it on the train. My only complaint: The owner and her children are kind and very professional.
L'unico posto che brioche costa 1.20 caffè 1.10. Sono circondati da altri bar. Con costi inferiori. E caffè migliore. Un plauso a Gianni barman. Professionale e solare
Historic bar, if they weren't there the area would lose a lot of prestige.
Nice cappuccino, a little too crowded during rush hours
I gave it two stars only because the barista who made me coffee was very friendly, but the other barista, a woman in her 50s, was really rude. The fact is, the barista who served me the coffee (which was good) had to apologize for the lady. I would advise the lady to take a break from work because I asked her a simple question and she practically verbally attacked me.
Good manners and customer respect need to be reviewed. In my experience, "I asked if the croissants were warm." Both fifty-year-old baristas verbally attacked me, saying, "No one is happy with anything. You give them a hot croissant and they want it cold. You give them cold and they want it hot." Obviously, I replied, "Right." However, instead of upsetting all the customers, try giving hot croissants to those who want them hot and cold to those who want them cold. Perhaps you wouldn't have this problem of unhappy customers.
The owner is born, lives and will die, rude and grumpy, he thinks it's the only bar in Rho! But on the one hand it's true it's the only most expensive bar in Lombardy more expensive coffee 1.50 equal to 3000 lire of the old lire, cappuccino and brioche €3.50. Equal to 7000 lire of the old lire, he should put a mask on his face and be ashamed, the prices he has don't even exist in the bars in front of the Milan Cathedral. The worst thing in the world is to get rich on poor people!!! ! ! SHAME ON YOU FOR EXISTING!
Simply rude, they think about their own business before serving customers, chatting with friends and sipping coffee behind the counter. If you then "allow" yourself to pay by card, spending less than they consider appropriate, the rudeness reaches biblical levels.
Rude waiter. Instead of giving me the things I asked for after I paid, he continued chatting with a friend of his about their business. When I asked him to let me go and chat as he pleased, his friend started arguing with me. Luckily, I was more than ready for an argument, so they backed off when they saw I'm well prepared for problems. And in the end, they told me not to come again instead of apologizing.
The place isn't very clean; once they served me coffee in a cup encrusted with hair. They're not very friendly; they almost never greet anyone who enters, even when the bar is empty, and they don't allow any type of card payment.
Same scenario as the previous reviews: they claim to have a special license as a station bar, and are exempt from charging for cigarettes with debit cards. To the authorities, they claim they've never said such a thing, and that they're not "practical" with using a POS, and that they simply couldn't light one tonight. Oscar-worthy actors.
I had to pay by card, and obviously only they're "authorized" to refuse it, for some reason. Kudos to them, though. Besides not enforcing the law, they're also mocking customers, who apparently are considered stupid.
Rude owner. I go to get a pack of cigarettes, saying "I'll pay by card," and they tell me they don't accept it for cigarettes. I tell them they've reintroduced the requirement to accept POS payments for tobacco and tobacco, and they reply that they're a "specialty retailer" and therefore authorized not to accept it. Laughable. Should be shut down. Zero consumer rights.
Good morning! One star is already too many. I'm a student commuter. My train to Novara was 15 minutes late. In the meantime, I ate and realized I'd forgotten a drink at home. I ran to the bar at the Rho station to get something to drink and told the lady, "Excuse me, but I don't have cash and I'm thirsty. I would have paid by card, obviously." She replied, "Well, then, nothing." As if it were normal that I can't pay by card, even though it's mandatory to accept POS payments in Italy.
Definitely avoid it. Run by rude, unkind, and vulgar staff. The place is very dirty and decorated in an old-fashioned way. The lady touches the dog under the counter first, then gives you the croissants. The competition from the bars in Rho is a thousand times better. I wholeheartedly advise against it.
