I just wanted to share how much I loved my first visit to your place! The atmosphere and lighting set the perfect mood, and the service was top-notch. Of course, the food was absolutely amazing. My pad woon sen was cooked to perfection, the curry tasted delicious, and I simply couldn’t resist the fried rice. Everything here feels so authentic and tasty. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
Our first time here this afternoon. The food and service were excellent. Restaurant was nice and clean. Will definitely be back! So glad to have a good Thai restaurant nearby! Definitely spice down! I can usually do a 3 (medium) at other Thai restaurants but I think a 1 will be great next time.
Delicious thai food! Glad to have a Halal Thai restaurant in the Richmond area. I was eager to try it out once I heard it was opened and it was fully Halal. I visited here with my family and was appreciative of the customer service and atmosphere. My favorite Thai dish is Pad See Eew, so I ordered it here with Chicken and the Crying Tiger dish, based on recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pad See Eew and appreciated the portion size. The Crying Tiger beef was nice too, but the sauce/marinade wasn't for my taste. I'm looking forward to trying out more dishes and reordering my usual noodle dishes.
I LOVE IT!!!! The ambiance was inviting, with soft lighting and a calming atmosphere, perfect for a delightful meal. The service was impeccable, as the staff members were attentive and eager to assist with any requests. She even pack our food for us 🥹 The food was nothing short of extraordinary; each dish was a symphony of flavors. Every bite was delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. The overall experience was truly deserving of the highest praise. I am eager to return and explore more of their culinary delights.
We’ve been customers of Thai Square since their old location, and we’re so happy to see them thriving in their new spot! The food is still as amazing as ever — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The owner is always so kind and welcoming, making every visit feel personal and genuine. Even though our server got my wife’s order slightly wrong this time, everything else — from the food quality to the atmosphere — was absolutely perfect. We’ll definitely keep coming back and recommending Thai Square to everyone who loves authentic Thai food!
Had chicken Khao soy, chicken satay and wings. All halal and tasty. So glad we have this near Harvest Green. Love Thai food!
My favorite Thai restaurant period. Hands down. They are Goated. NOBODY makes a better mango sticky rice!
I walked in, and customer service was amazing! She helped me figure out what I wanted and the food tasted amazing! So glad that they finally opened! Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were incredibly attentive, and every dish was bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to dessert, everything was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The service was quick, the portions were generous, and the overall experience felt truly special. can’t wait to come back!
I’ve tried quite a few Thai restaurants around Houston, but Thai Square Richmond truly stands out. The flavors here are impressively authentic — vibrant, aromatic, and beautifully balanced, just like what you’d find in Thailand. It’s one of the few places where the dishes don’t feel “Americanized” or watered down. I really appreciated that they offer different spice levels, making it easy for everyone to enjoy their meal comfortably without losing the essence of Thai heat. I ordered Gang Keaw Wann (Green Curry), Pad See Ew, and of course, Mango Sticky Rice for dessert — and every dish was a hit! The green curry was rich and creamy with just the right kick of spice; the Pad See Ew had that perfect wok-charred flavor and chewy noodles; and the mango sticky rice was the sweetest ending, fresh and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and attentive, the atmosphere cozy yet modern — overall, a dining experience that felt both comforting and genuinely Thai. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to anyone craving real Thai food done right.
Happy to have a Thai restaurant nearby. The staff are amazing and very attentive, and the food tastes delicious. The portions are generous and well worth the price. Definitely a highly recommended and pleasant place to enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner
Food is always delicious, service is great and the atmosphere is great too. Love the new location and can’t wait to come again!! My favorite items are the drunken noodles and red curry, can’t go wrong with it!!
We tried this new Thai spot for dinner and it was fantastic!! My husband and I shared the pineapple fried rice with chicken and the pad thai with chicken - both were delicious!! Highly recommend Thai Square!
One of my favorite Thai restaurants in houston!!! Every time I visit, I make sure to get the pad ke mao or red curry!!! YOU MUST GO IF YOURE IN TOWN!
Best Thai food around! So happy they opened up this new location. Owner and staff are very friendly.
First time ordering at this location and the food was superb and delicious. Ordered the garden egg rolls and the freshness of rolls were mouthwatering!! Also ordered the chicken soup with egg noodles and oh my gosh…. Hot and delicious!! This will be my go-to place for a delicious soup on a cold winter day or just needing a good soup when feeling under the weather. WOW! Really great service and fresh authentic ingredients. Highly recommend and so glad they are just a mile away now. ❤️😊
First time trying this place, and it was absolutely amazing! Been living in Texas for about 3 years now and couldn’t find a good Thai spot until now! They’re Tom Yum soup and Green Curry was so delicious! The spice levels are exceptional, we got level 5 and it has a nice kick! Exited to come back and try their other dishes, and hopefully ask for a spicier custom level as well! Staff was friendly, prices were very reasonable! Overall, highly recommend!!
Went to Thai Square for the first time a couple of days ago. Food is fresh and delicious. Service was great! We tried a couple of appetizers- Fried Tofu, Spring rolls. Both were great. Main course, we ordered panang curry, green curry, and khao soi. It was all delicious. My only complaint would be around the atmosphere which is why I gave it 3 stars- we had a wobbly table and really uncomfortable metal chairs which would not be good for people bigger in size. The place is not cozy rather quick- eat and go style. If that’s your jam, then this is your place! Would def return though perhaps for take-out.
I think the food is good not excellent.
As someone that really enjoys Thai restaurants food this place wouldn't be in my top ten. My noodles were all stuck together and i felt it was missing something. For the price you'd think there would be more attention to detail. I won't be making a second visit.
Ordered Pad Thai with chicken for my first experience with this restaurant. The dish was overloaded with tofu and lacked the chicken I ordered. Attention to order accuracy needs improvement.
The food was great and our waitress was also really nice. However, when we were about to leave after paying, the owner came up to us and asked if everything was good with the service and we said yes. She rolled her eyes and said “ok well you didn’t tip” in the rudest tone First of all, we were already planning on tipping with cash Second of all, why are you having a rude attitude towards your customers when they don’t tip? Maybe PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE. So unprofessional and rude.
I was excited when this location of Thai Square was opening since we like the New Territory location. We came here with 8 people and were all very disappointed. - Pad se ewe - imagine someone took dry noodles, stomped on it and then boiled those small pieces/ crumbs - thats what it looked like. It was also over boiled and looked like oatmeal. When I showed them, our waitress said its because they hand make the noodles in house. Thats why its crumbs and over cooked mush?? I dont think so. Its sad that the kitchen though that was a presentable way to send out that dish. (I wish I had taken a picture). We sent it back and the noodles came out whole this time but still over cooked. Also it tasted like they poured a bunch of maple syrup on it - way sweeter than its supposed to be. - Green curry - this tasted good but the white rice it came with was crunchy and undercooked. - Pumpkin curry - was ok - Side of fried rice - was white rice with soy sauce mixed in to look brown. No veggies, egg nothing Both families said they would not return here. If you cant make basic white rice not sure how you will survive..
