This is a lovely little spot in the neighborhood to grab a treat. The bubble tea is really good and the confectionaries are yummy and not too sweet. I recently tried their cheese dog, the one that I got was like a giant mozzarella stick, I think it's coated with panko, which is a really good combination here. I included a quarter in my picture for a sense of scale.

Cute small corner spot with delicious Boba and cheese dog. Bit pricey but if your making your way down to wyckoff its a nice pit stop for a quick snack.

I tried the strawberry smoothie with strawberry boba, and it was pretty good. The smoothie tasted fresh and the strawberry flavor was nice. The boba added a fun texture to the drink. However, after drinking a lot of it, it became a little too sweet for me. Overall it was enjoyable, but the location is a bit far, so it’s not somewhere I would go very often.

Got the cheese dog, tiramisu and brown sugar bubble tea for delivery. Cheese dog and tiramisu were very good, but bubble tea tasted water down

Food is excellent. Service is often slow. The staff easily gets overwhelmed, and never looks happy to be there.

I'm very picky with my boba, I like the tapioca to have the perfect amount of chew and to be flavorful and theirs was just that. I got the brown sugar boba and it was delightful, it tasted like actual brown sugar and not just sugary milk. The sweetness was well balanced, not too much nor too little, very good for someone who likes sweet drinks. I only didn't give this place a 5 star because the eating area was unkempt, it had very dirty tables that looked like they hadnt been tended to for awhile. Also the service did take kind of long compared to other places I've been to despite not having a lot of customers.

The mochi ice cream was trash, and the yogurt cubes were decently good. The one & only thing that I usually visit UCrew for is the smoothie with popping boba, A1.

When I asked it was because it’s an additional $.50 because the tea is hot. My drink was delicious. It could’ve been a little bit hotter, but honestly, it was the right temperature so you could immediately drink it. Unfortunately, I was walking outside and it got cold halfway through my walk. There was a little bit of a language barrier with the cashier who was taking my order. I was trying to ask what was in their holiday drinks and I wasn’t able to get a clear answer. There was a number of food model that were on the counter, not super appetizing.

We ordered boba, mochi donuts and the “mousse cake”… The bubble tea was bland and can pick up on the powder towards the end of the drink, the mousse cake was like a solid brick that we couldn’t use the utensil they gave up to get a piece off of it. What made it worse is when we did manage to get a piece, the “cake” tasted like it had been stored for at least a few days. My friend asked why was it hard to cut into and the staff said “it’s an ice cream cake,” and that is why it was like that. The matcha mochi donuts were the only items we got and even then, they were okay. Not coming back here again.

Mochi donuts are good but if you like bubble tea spots will real tea, more like what you can get in Chinatown, this is more of the powdery fake kind. The popping boba itself was good though. Still glad there’s some type of bubble tea spot in Ridgewood but wish they served more real tea options like oolong, barley, etc.

The classic corn dog was not good. The batter was too thick so the outside was crispy but the inside was greasy and soggy. I ended up not eating a good portion of the fried batter. Some other menu item may be the way to go if you visit.

Ill change my review once they actually start trying to make better boba. Just taste so powdery and fake, cant reduce sugar too so you are at they're mercy for type 2 diabetes. Also, boba is mushy and tastes old. Donuts are ok though

staff is so rude. i get to the counter and the lady there says “ORDER!” i told her i didn’t order yet and she just repeated herself. when i finally get my drinks the guy who gave them to me was snarky because i didn’t know my order number and was checking the receipt. they’re attitudes for no reason is crazy.

Boba had too much ice. The taro boba tasted like water. Also the boba balls were weirdly really tiny.

I ordered a matcha Latte. It tasted so bad. It smelled like fish and was extremely sweet. The guy who got my order clearly said the drink comes with boba. When I got it, it had no boba in it. Once I asked, he said they had run out of boba. They staff also was unfriendly and unhelpful.

Their tiramisu was disappointing, the taste was barely emphasized as if it’s a whole different dish and while eating, I found a jelly silicone chunk in it

i would frequent ucrew and would brush off the bad customer service bc i can empathize with a service worker who probably gets treated like a vending machine all day. today is literally 95 degrees and the ac was not working in this establishment, my partner and i were sweating bullets waiting on our drinks and asked the counter person for a cup of water. he walked away and the person who took our order gave us drinks while the other kid working there decides to hold our waters hostage and asks for a $2 ransom. it’s incredibly inhuman not to give paying customers a water cup, especially when we literally tipped $4 for 2 drinks??? we ended up denying the water (bc $2 is ridiculous, tap water should be free. it does not say anywhere on the menu that water costs money) and the cashier probably just threw away the cup and water anyway.

Food and service here is low-quality, spend your hard-earned money somewhere else and support a business that actually values its customers.
