I absolutely LOVE THE FAMILY that owns and operates this! Everyone is kind, helpful, and generous! The donuts are made daily first thing in the am and they continue to be amazing examples of wonderful human beings that love the community!
Love Randy’s doughnuts my favorite doughnuts and always fresh and super nice people at this location always greet u with a smile
CHOOSE THIS PLACE ! I studied business and I hate marketing, and it is hard for a business to gain my support because I am also very brand loyal. It takes a lot to make me happy. My son's favorite food are donuts and for his first day of school we decided to come here because of the pics online. We were helped by a nice man and we couldn't help but purchase 1 dozen donuts plus a giant one. This was before I tried any of them. Then, he was so cool and connected with us. We drove a way out to try them. We have tried many donuts in our life, even donut man, but this place has some amazing, amazing donuts. They're not basic, they're creative and so cute, most importantly...they are delicious. The ingredients are quality ingredients and I'm so happy we discovered it. I will everyone about this. They even beat that Dripp donut place for me, that's also in Riverside because of the accessibility. Donuts don't need to play hard to get. 1000% recommend and will come back even though we live far. Way better than Donut Man for me, and more versatile than Krispie Kreme. The latte was great too! Worth the price , worth the drive !
It has been many years since me and the family have gotten donuts from our favorite Los Angeles donut shop. They've moved to Randy's out here in Riverside, California. We were too excited to go and experience our favorite place. Call us spoiled but this is the best donuts that California has to offer.
Can’t complain about the donuts! The last time they didn’t accept debit card, so it was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, great service and amazing working time! They work even late
I'm not a donut gal per se but when I want one I will drive all the way to the one on VanBuren. They are always friendly...even the teenage boy that works there. Raised correctly or good training? Either way I enjoy stopping in. These are the ONLY day old donuts worth eating so you can buy a few and not have to worry about throwing them away the next day. I like the custard filled long johns. I sometimes come late at night and they are gone and (the owner?) fills a couple of them fresh for me. Yum. Shakes are not bad either. I'm going to try their croissant sandwiches one day and their hot drinks and cold coffees. I bet they are good, too.
Randy's way out here!? Heck yes! Definitely recommend their Mango Tajin Donut. It was surprisingly savory and the flavors mixed quite well. An interesting experience for your mouth and taste buds. Other than that, they got the usual high quality classic offerings. Can't go wrong with any other donut. Definitely stop by and grab a few.
The donuts were good I got a chocolate crème filled, a maple bar, a ham n cheese croissant and a regular chocolate bar. So check it out if you’re into a good donut this is for you. They got some fancy weird ones on the shelf but I’m not trying to play around like that. I just wanted a good donut and I got several. Stoked!
The owner was super nice and very friendly. The donut shop is small and like most donut places, they don't have a sitting area. The location is convenient as it is just off the 91 and going back is easy too. Parking is shared with a few other businesses so it might get crowded. Donuts were good, they have a few different ones but we went for the more classic ones.
Had been craving raspberry filled Powered Donuts for months! Being a small town gal with the store brand being discontinued over a decade ago, they're hard to find!! But these had me drooling like Homer over Thanksgiving dinner! We got an assortment of different types, the Maple Long Johns were definitely the best I've ever had! My husband also got a breakfast sandwich that was hot, fresh, and delicious!
I was blown away by their amazing customer service. It was my first time there and they explained their best selling flavors. It is definitely worth the price- very delicious and high quality donuts. I wish I could eat them all by myself 😭🩷
On the donuts: the raised (any yeast risen, not cake/old-fashioned style) donuts from Randy’s is so so good, the sugar glaze is crispy and the inside is delicately fluffy. Amazing texture overall. IMO the classic glazed raised is always the best. On this particular location: the line from in-and-out that forms later in the day makes this kind of an inconvenient “quick” stop. The inside is fairly cramped (back of house looks equally as cramped) so if it’s busy then you’ll be standing outside. The staff was friendly, I didn’t see any flies (that seems to have been a Saturday/Sunday event after opening), and the prices have increased from OG pricing but are still reasonable (the donuts themselves are large). Will be visiting more in the future
These donuts are NOT your average donuts! They are super delicious. The frosting or glaze they put on it is thicc. The bread is fluffy. And the cashier that was there at the time we went was super friendly. We ordered a box of 6. The chocolate and maple long John stuffed and 4 sprinkle donuts for the kiddos.
I'm from LA an moved to riverside after I married. FINALLY Randy's came out here. Love the new location. Hate to say it but the donuts taste better than I remember and the selection is incredible. The service is A1 and the prices r better than some of the regular donut spots around. Anyways, hate to yap but this spot deserved it. Check out Randy's on van buren if u haven't. U won't b disappointed.
Randy's has delicious donuts and a good selection, though not what I would call huge. The parking lot is cramped, but it's not too bad. You can only turn right onto Van Buren getting out. Plan for that. It's not exactly freeway-convenient, but it's probably worth it.
The donuts here are on point, fresh Daily and the taste is above all, and the staff here is great and very Attentive to your order. And the coffee is fantastic, Great donuts, Great Coffee and Great staff that give Great service. There nothing else you can ask for. #HookedForLife 😁

I love going for their ice lattes with oat milk (no sweetener). I stopped here once because all the other coffee shops had such long lines and I was picking up donuts. I ended up loving it so much I come back every now and then!
First off, avoid the coney donut it's horrible, very unpleasant eating amd unsatisfying The Donuts itself taste good especially if warm the best are the coconut and the crumble donut other donuts are good just don't go crazy on the special donuts the plain ones taste better then the ones overloaded with stuff. It's not the best but good donuts.
Donuts were all good. I will be happy to stop here again. However coffee was completely lackluster and the person behind the counter did not seem very happy. But donuts are now on my short list for the Riverside area for good donuts.
I visited on 1/26 on a cold night when I was craving donuts near Riverside since I was on the road. I ordered small iced coffee and a box of 6 donuts. The Owners/Mgrs were nice to me and provided a good experience for me. I definitely recommend the cherry iced cake or the blueberry donuts. I would have liked more the coconut raised if it didn't have the coconut, so refined shredded. I prefer the coconut donuts to have the shredded coconut toppings bigger pieces.

The doughnuts would be better if I can taste less oil. But if you wanted fancy doughnut go here. They are a little pricey, but I guess once in a while is ok.
I visited today and bought 2 dozen donuts. I almost fell over when the guy told me the cost. Certainly was not worth it. The donuts didn't taste freshly made. Won't go there again. Our local place in sun city is far better and much cheaper
Was just in the area and happened to see them and wanted to stop by. It was later in the day so there wasn't that much of a selection. I hate to saw this but I did not like the donuts at all. It was pricey for me to just take 1 bite and throw the rest away. Staff was very friendly though. I could have just went on a bad time though.
Brand new location! So it is busy. Located in the same shopping center off of the freeway next to in n out. Unfortunately the donuts were a bit hard and prices are a bit high. Red velvet lacked flavor 😕. I hate when a place has products that look better then they are. Half the donuts we had were good and the other half were not. The classic donuts were good tho. Like the plain chocolate was good. This location needs to work on freshness vs throwing donuts out. As well as having specials. Most of all flavor needs to be on point! And it was not.

So disappointed this time. Showed up Saturday morning 10/5 6:30 am to get some fresh delicious donuts like always. Got home and when we tried them they were clearly yesterday's donuts. HARD! You should be ashamed of yourself and the donuts. These donuts aren't cheap! Anyone else notice that Saturday?
I didn't know there was a famous Randy's donuts in Riverside. I usually get them whenever I'm in LA. And I am very sad to say, these donuts taste like yesterday donuts. I got them at 10 am on 2/12. They are not good. Whoever is the owner of this, Randy's needs to get some tips from the ones in LA or even Downey location. And like another person mentioned, these donuts are not CHEAP. I paid around $18 for 6 donuts. I will stick with getting mine from LA. They are worth the price out there.

The donuts were really beautiful. The selection is impressive. We bought a dozen of various types and spent about $40. Every single donut that we bit into tasted like tablespoons of grease. I don't think that they have the fryer at the right temperature. I don't know if it is a normal thing for them This was my first time going. We threw away every single donut. Sadly it was a waste of $40.
We went in about 6pm to get a few donuts. I was aware that the donuts weren't going to be warm or right out of the oven but these donuts tasted more than a day old. I even asked for a pink sprinkled and the worker said she had one and went to the back and got one. I was thankful and thought maybe it was baked that day and they were getting ready to sell it the next day but no. She probably pulled it from the REALLY OLD batch that was gonna get tossed. This donut was hard. The others we got tasted old too. Unfortunately this was the last time we'll be going there.

Showed up in the morning and got donuts. I was thinking the donuts would be fresh since it was so early, but they weren’t. The donuts were tough and the chocolate and maple were crunchy. It was so hard that the topping was separating from the bread. Won’t be coming back. I bought a dozen different donuts and none of them were fresh.
Went in before closing, donuts were hard and too oily. Got swindled into getting half a dozen and the older Indian lady said she’d give me a discount if I purchased 1/2 a dozen, so I said yes. Total came out to $19 something , I asked her why and she said she charged me individually based on price and type of donut. I just paid and left, donuts were not good.
The store looked dirty. There were boxes stacked everywhere. It was almost 10 PM at night. The lights were on the door was open. I walked The alarm went off, the guy was in the back, emptying trash by himself. I stood there for approximately five minutes, and then he finally turned around and said we’re closed. I need to put the clothes sign up and lock the door. There were donuts full in the shelf at 10 PM they open it says at six so those donuts are already eight hours old when they open I would never eat here.
This is by far the worst donut place I’ve ever been to, and I’m not saying that to be mean just sharing my honest experience. Even my children, who usually love donuts, didn’t think these were good. We grabbed three donuts and one coffee, and the total was almost $20, which felt extremely overpriced for what we got. The biggest red flag for me? This is the first time I’ve ever seen my kids leave their donuts uneaten. Unfortunately, between the high prices and lack of quality, we won’t be coming back.
Terrible. So sad. Riverside location needs new cooks. Giving Randy’s a bad name. My buttermilk had raw dough, glazed were over cooked. Everything taste like nasty grease. Spent over 20.00 for a dozen. My brother is visiting from out of town and we grew up on Randy’s in LA when we were kids. What was supposed to be a nice treat turned into trash. So disappointed. Van Buren location in Riverside. Avoid it. Heartburn with the grease and sits on the roof of your mouth. Very sad and disappointing
Chocolate raised just tasted bad. The "raspberry" jelly in a jelly donut was almost flavorless except maybe a hint of strawberry. Would not recommend, especially at the price.
This place always tries to Nickel and Dime you. I asked specifically for a half dozen. She then says we have a great special on a full dozen. I asked how much a dozen is, and she replied it depends on the donut. I ended up paying over $30 dollars. My "discount" was only $2. This is the 2nd time they try and persuade me to get more donuts. It is overwhelming each time I visit and unprofessional. Donuts are mediocre at best. The hot vanilla latte was flavorless. I will never return.
If you like stale donuts with hair baked into them, then this is your place. Personally, I prefer fresh donuts minus the hair. Mr Blues or Albertsons is 100 x better and just down the street. Both are always fresh and I’ve never had hair served in their donuts like Randy’s
My wife decided to try Randy's for the first time and this will be the last. Wife says nice variety which is good, but the donuts tasted very old and you shouldn't be able to hear a sound when you knock on them. Twist was not fresh and greasy with no flavor. Good luck and hope this honest review helps.
