I wanted Authentic African food. I think I found it. Tucked away in Riviera Beach. I googled and Waalaa! Omg! I had them twice(before I post) and it's consistent. They don't mix meats unless asked. Which I like. I had Egusi and fufu (1 meal), Jollof rice with chicken(2nd meal) it comes with a simple side salad(lettuce, carrot, onion)refresh the pallet and a sauce and dressing. It is so good and its not overly salty, and not full of hot spice. The only thing its in a home. I know! But I get it, some of the best cooks are inside a home. Brick and mortar are very expensive to create and operate. If you don't mind pre-ordering and taking a drive I highly suggest it. I call in advance, place my order and it usually takes about 25 mins to prepare and ready..I say 30 minutes(for impatient people). Really nice gentleman will bring the order out to your car once you arrive. Now, when you pick up go, pick up and try to mind your own business(area). You can look but not judge. The area isn't so great, but what can one do about that when that's what they can afford. We can either help the situation (without taking over) or leave it alone and allow it to do what it do ya ya ya(Beyoncè voice..lol). We do not judge...unless you can 1st help(without taking over). I wish more people would understand this. Especially being none of us are raised the same. Anywho! I'll post the pictures. Try them. We love it. Dang I forgot to take a picture of the Jollof and chicken. I'll order again and add later......to be continued

Best fufu and egusi soup in town hands down. Great person. Cooks the food with love. I’ve been ordering for a year now. And I haven’t had not one miss. It always hit. It always tastes like the first time I ordered reason why I always come back. If you’re on the fence about trying fufu and egusi soup. Don’t hesitate with them. They cook the food with much love and very pleasant and friendly service. I highly recommend and encourage everyone to try them. Sincerely from a constant customer Ray.

had the pleasure of dining at Baisels African Kitchen (Home Cho) in Riveria Beach, and I must say it was an incredible experience. As a lover of West African food, I was thrilled to discover that this is the only restaurant in Palm Beach County offering 100% authentic West African cuisine. While there are other great restaurants in the area, Baisels African Kitchen stands out because of its unwavering dedication to West African flavors and dishes. It's a relief to know that if one place is closed or sold out, I can always rely on this restaurant to satisfy my cravings for West African delicacies. The fact that the restaurant is currently operating from a home due to licensing matters after the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic doesn't diminish the quality of the food or service in any way. In fact, it adds a cozy and intimate atmosphere to the dining experience. The service at Baisels African Kitchen is truly commendable. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They go out of their way to ensure a pleasant dining experience, and the service is quick and efficient. If you're planning to order the fish dish, I recommend calling ahead as it takes about 40 minutes to prepare. Trust me, it's worth the wait and the call ahead ensures you don't miss out on this delightful treat. Overall, Baisels African Kitchen is a gem for anyone who appreciates West African cuisine. The flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and the authenticity of the dishes is truly impressive. I could eat my cultural food every day, and this restaurant provides that opportunity. Don't miss the chance to try their fantastic offerings if you're in the area. P.S: Please ensure to check the current licensing status and location updates of the restaurant before visiting, as circumstances may have changed since the time of this review.

I recently had the pleasure of trying this African business, and it was such a great experience! It was my first time trying fufu with egusi soup, and I can honestly say the flavors blew me away. I chose the lamb for my soup, and it was packed with so much flavor — absolutely delicious! In fact, I loved it so much that I’m ordering again today. As for the fufu, it was my first time trying it, and while I know it’s traditionally made with a very neutral flavor and sticky texture, it just wasn’t for me personally. I’m more of a texture person, and the texture of fufu isn’t really my cup of tea. That being said, when dipped into the egusi soup, it absorbed all the rich flavor beautifully and made the experience authentic and enjoyable. Also, don’t be alarmed when you pull up — the pick-up is right in front of a house (that’s what Home Cho is!). Just act like you’re picking up food from your uncle’s house, and remember: the best foods are made at home. Overall, I highly recommend giving this place a try, especially if you want to explore new flavors and experience authentic African cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back — this time with egusi soup and maybe some rice!

Baisels offers excellent customer service. This was my first time ordering, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food presentation was good. Food was in good sealed containers. The jollof was good. I got goat egusi, but I'm not a fan of goat, so I should've got the chicken because my friend got chicken egusi and she loved it. The food was flavorful.

First time there.. the service was good. He explained the differences so I was clear what to order. The food was fresh and hot. We came from Broward county to try. The food was very well seasoned. We got three dishes to try, the okra stew with fish and pounded yam, fried fish with jollof rice and the egusi with chicken with pounded yam and he threw in a side of okra stew bc I wanted to try it. I really like the egusi mixed with the okra, so good. I will order the mix next time. We all loved our selections. I am sure I passed a lot of stand alone restaurants but I will come again when ever I am in the mood again.

My friend and I were a little worried about the location surrounding but we called before hand and he was nice. We were worried about it being a house but we did not have to step foot inside he gave us the food outside delivered to our car. The food was really good and the portion sizes are very generous for the price. We got a tub of egusu and a tub of fufu for 23 dollars. Recommend!

I moved from Colorado, away from my local Nigerian cuisine restaurant and I found this place about an hour from where I live. WORTH the drive. I still want to keep eating it when I’m full. So so good and the gentlemen was friendly. It is a house but a simple phone call to clarify if you’re confused goes a long way. Thank you!

I was happy to hear that this place was within my community. But as I was eating it I noticed my goat was mixed with beef. You can’t see the meat because it is covered in sauce. But I will say beef or goat its delicious I’m just disappointed cuz it’s not what I ordered. But blessing come from all directions because when I showed my neighbor as I was eating it his wife gave me some goat and rice. So I I’ll take it a win. But no lie I still enjoyed my food. The red sauce is freaking delicious
