Friendly people, serving great home-cooked food. Ready in a jiffy for takeaway. I would like to enjoy a sit-down meal there. Great atmosphere!
Came here for dinner on a Thursday. For under $18 (cash — it costs slightly more with credit card), I got: - Fried swai - 3 small sides (cornbread, green beans, corn on the cob) - 1 large side (yellow rice with gravy) - 1 slice sweet potato pie This was very filling and there were leftovers! My favorite was the sweet potato pie and the fried fish — perfectly fried and seasoned! The space had indoor seating for up to 10 people, but all the food is packed to-go anyway. The two ladies running the restaurant were very friendly. I highly recommend this place!
Cute little restraunt tucked in nicely, Food was incredible!! every side served was delicious worth the price comes with rice and 2 sides 10/10 recommend
First impression is everything the place was clean service was friendly wholesome music and oh yes awesome awesome food ordered 3 different meals with all the sides OMG best in the city and oh yes those bake beans are to die for. A++
Calling them staff is almost an insult, they're more like family! Extremely friendly, pretty good prices, and some heart warming soul food! Highly recommend!

Grabbed some breakfast here 1 morning. It was delicious. Prices are fair. Can't say anything wrong about the place except the portions could have been a little bit more. I felt like it wasn't enough eggs .
I went there to try their breakfast and I'm very happy I did. I had the cheese grits with eggs, bacon and a side of sausage. When I say cheese grits, I'm talking delicious cheese grits, not grits with a piece of cheese on top. My cousin came for a visit and we came to dine in for breakfast. She loved it and said everything was delicious. I would recommend it when you're looking for some good back home soul food. You won't be disappointed.
The spirit of the Lord is in this restaurant, Place clean, Customer Services is a 10 plus, and food is GREAT WITH A LOT OF TASTE.
This is a soul food restaurant. They have food like oxtail, yellow and white rice, mac n cheese, pig feet, greens, turkey wings, green beans ect..the food is really good and the prices are really reasonable, like $15-35. The owner is a very pleasant lady to talk with. They give you a good amount of food also.
We were looking for a soul food restaurant on our way home from Miami and google led us to MeMa’s Kitchen. The reviews were good, so we stopped by. The place is very small and quaint and seemed to be pretty clean. We would have eaten there, but it was very warm inside, so we took it to go. The young lady who took our order was pleasant , and seemed to know most of the patrons by name, which is a good thing. For my meal, I had the smothered pork chops, white rice and field peas. It was phenomenal! I also had a side of potato salad, which I didn’t care for at all. My boyfriend had the turkey wings, white rice, Mac and cheese, and field peas. He said that his was delicious as well. The food came out fast, was piping hot, and the portions were generous! We had the banana pudding and classic pound cake, as well. Both desserts tasted pretty good, but I’m not sure about the texture of the banana pudding. I will probably try a different dessert on our next visit. We will definitely make this one of our stops either on our way to or from Miami when we visit our son at the University in the near future. We were very pleasantly surprised!!!
The food’s pretty good, and the ladies up front are always warm and welcoming. The only downside is the gentleman who works there, he’s just not friendly and doesn’t greet or thank guests. After my last visit dealing with him, I’ve decided not to return.
The best breakfast bowls in town. I would post a pic of the bowl but I ate it already lol!! There staff is kind, respectful and patient. I’ve been eating here since they opened. Riviera Beach has a lot of little gems and this is one of them. The place is clean and everyone is kind. The lunch and dinner is tasty as well. If you want a great bite to eat stop over and check them out. You will not be disappointed. We need to support these local small businesses..
This little spot is a southern comfort at heart. Im in love with the atmosphere and that distinct aroma of a southern Nana’s kitchen on a Sunday morning or evening. The staff is very polite and welcoming. The prices compared to the portions are astounding. I’m going later today when they open for dinner. This will be my third time this week. The catfish nuggets melt in your mouth like butter, the grits are straight up ecstasy. The liver and onions will make you shed a tear of delight. I’m so grateful I found this place. I may never cook again. Great food!
Oxtails Mac m cheese greens .. pound cake all delicious. I'll be back for breakfast 😊😊
I’m very disappointed!!!!! Like how dare they sell good souse out of a shot glass … I didn’t even make it to the gas station down the street before both cups were gone !! I don’t know who that chef / owner soul providing kind, hearted lady thought she was telling me god bless and drive safe but baby that souse touched my soul and I was very much so say !!!! She just doesn’t know it but she’s now my auntie and the ladies in the front are my cousins!!!!! We’re family now ! The atmosphere the love , the welcoming with open arms just felt so at home ! I may not make it every Friday but I’ve found my souse home ! REAL SOUSE NO BOIL PEANUTS AND SAUSAGES ( now if that’s how you like it heyyy that’s you ) but I was raised of the hood souse Red Jackson didn’t play when Friday came the grill was going and the pots were boiling ! I love y’all from the bottom of my heart ! -Cousin Lola
The food is delicious! I don’t get home cooked meals often because I’m a bachelor and I work a lot but this is probably the closest to my grandma’s cooking. The Turkey wings were scrumptious and the portions were very generous. Prices very reasonable and staff was friendly.
I had a really good experience overall. The pork chop was cooked perfectly — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fish was also very good, fresh and seasoned just right. The collard greens were definitely a highlight for me — well-seasoned and delicious. The only thing that didn’t quite hit for me was the corn on the cob. It just wasn’t as flavorful as the rest of the meal. But overall, everything was good and I enjoyed the food. I would definitely come back and try more items on the menu!
I had their breakfast bowl this morning. AMAZING!

The food is decent. The ladies that usually manage the front are pleasant and welcoming. However, my only complaint is the man. Honestly he should always work in the back because he is not welcoming or friendly. He does not greet you or thank you! After my last experience with him this past Saturday- I will never go back!
Was on a trip in Rivera beach for my anniversary and wanted some soul food. The staff were nice had turkey wings and ox tails. Food was not good in our opinion. I did however like the collard greens tho. If I'm ever back in the area I'm willing to go back and try something different before I be to quick to judge.
