The Sonic has a wonderful summer crew. The food is made fresh and the car hops are friendly. I have eaten here several times. My drink is tasty and the food is great. Just what I need to get back into the heat at work.
Cool stop right off freeway driving home. Didn't know they had drink specials at night!! Food was hot and very good. Place was packed!! That's always a good sign. Definitely will go back.
Great service! We pulled in pressed the button was helped immediately even though it was really busy. Got our food quickly within five minutes. Order was hot and 100 percent correct. Will be back next time we are in Roanoke.
Sonic has been a staple in our fast food lineup for years. Although the menu is consistent the quality varies by location. Half price drinks via their app is great, the 2 to 4 drink special means they get very busy, again quickness of service depends on location. Favorites include Double bacon Cheese burger, Tatar tots and rt44 drink.. If you haven't tried the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Toaster, then you are missing out on a great breakfast sandwich.... Again I can't stress enough, location, location, location...
This is one of our favorites. We usually stop to get drinks during their happy hour the burgers are usually really good. The car hops are normally very friendly too. It can get busy but they do a good job of keeping up with orders

The service is amazing! I can go through the drive through and get in and out . My order is never wrong the food is always fresh and hot. My drink is always exactly what I order the staff is so nice and professional. The happy hour is only until 10am in the morning where the others Sonic's are until 11. But I don't mind paying for the extra because of the accuracy and speed. Great job!
OK I came to sonic and Annika helped me out. She actually came to my car took my order on her phone took it back and made sure everything was very organized and done. A great job for me. Very sweet. The customer service is great and I'm waiting for to bring my order out but wanted to say that the customer service so far is excellent. We did the double smash or combo it's supposed to be the normal size burger six dollars includes fries the burger and a drink for only six dollars we'll see if that's correct. This is Mr. Food review and I will update later.
Very good food and customer service! Matheo came out very attentively with my order, gave it with care and made sure everything was correct. Very fast and easy delivery! I would recommend anyone to this place, especially with that young man working!
Had a great experience here. Used the app and the second we pulled in, our food was ready. All employees were smiling and very friendly. Great corn dogs too
The Byron Nelson Marching Band Pit Crew had some down time, so we hit up the Happy Hour. I was pleased to learn that I could add Red Bull to the Limeades. I had the Cranberry Limeade with added Redbull, it was so good!

We love the 2-4p.m. Half price drinks. The Groovy fries 🍟 are delicious too. Pretzel sticks with cheese is good too. Here's my only concern. No more half price drinks anytime on my app. My boss is legally blind but brilliant. Almost Everytime I drive for her .We get half priced drinks. I pay on my charge card and she pays me back in cash. Lately I have been challenged getting half price drinks. Now Boss is uncomfortable with going inside the store to get a drink. Which is why 5 yrs now we get Sonic to drink after our Gig. Respectfully if the anytime drinks half price stops. we will stop somewhere else. Respectfully please reconsider your half price anytime ban. Almost every time we buy it's about $7-$10 so you will miss that extra sale. If no half price anytime.
Unfortunately, our visit to this Sonic location was less than stellar. After we pushed the button to order, we waited for approximately 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The staff appeared overwhelmed so we waited patiently. It’s worth mentioning that we were traveling with a toddler who was hungry, tired, and cranky. After our lengthy wait, we began to notice orders were being taken from customers that pulled in after us. My friend got out of the car and caught up with a server by the front door. After inquiring about why our order wasn’t taken, the young man explained that the button at the stall we were parked in was broken and hadn’t worked all day. Ultimately, we got our food and everything was correct. We also received a service recovery chip. I would have given this experience 3 or less stars based on the inconvenience of the wait which could have been avoided if the stall we were in had been blocked off, but they did do a good job once we got their attention, so 4 stars seems appropriate.
Service was exceptional good quality food
We usually try to make this our weekly cheap dinner - 1/2 price burgers AND 1/2 price drinks. We get sodas with Zero Sugar and then add sugar free flavorings. They also have Diet Cherry Limeades and we like to add the mango or blackberry flavor to that. This store now carries Big Red and I’ll get that or Orange Fanta and add vanilla and CREAM (yes - as in coffee cream!!) It makes it almost like an Orange Julius. Take note - they sometimes have their app disabled so you can’t order ahead of time or get half price drinks - so if you tell them you were trying to order half price drinks - most of the time they will accommodate you.
Placed an order via the app for one double and a plain burger with only ketchup. First order came out with two doubles. Called for service and the lady was confused. She eventually took the other burger back. Then a manager or shift leader came out later with what should have been the plain burger. It has cheese on it but I’ll live. See then use the excuse that the cooks don’t speak English. Understood, but if they’re there, they should be able to read the receipt because the receipt was actually correct. Just kind of a weird experience. Food was consistently great though, and I am quickly becoming a sonic fan of their burgers. The app could use more offers and rewards more offers than rewards based. I’d like to see some sort of a loyalty aspect to it.
The Roanoke Sonic is a real disappointment. The food quality is not good nor consistent, and the service is even worse. Unless you really just want a Sonic drink and don't mind waiting 10 minutes to get it, go somewhere else.
I used the app for 50€ corn dog Day. 8 of those and Half price drinks and that made my total bill $7 for two people. But nobody bothered telling me they were out of honey mustard and offer another option. They just brought them out with no sauce. I had to press the button and wait for sauce, they brought 2. I gave up and My wife ate hers with ketchup.
My go-to place for any kind of drinks. Food is decent, I like the cheese sticks, jalapeno poppers, popcorn chicken and boneless wings. Plus, a foot-long chili/cheese Coney is a treat. Burgers need some improvement.
Not sure what's going on but the tater tots were not cooked all the way through and were cold when I got out of the parking lot. I didn't have time to go back and see if they would make them right. This Sonic is usually on point! Corn dogs were delish!
Sonic is real hit or miss these days. Everything comes with cheese, so they can charge a higher price even though cheese is not very good for you. Even when you order your burger without cheese, there is a real good chance they will put it on any way.
I go here all the time but they always seem understaffed and overwhelmed. Your workers are great give them a break or at least a raise for the ones who are running out food on their own.
It's Sonic. The food is typically a bit meh, but the drinks are nice. Service takes some time, but you can order on the app now and use deals or coupons.
Still love the vibe of a sonic but my chili dog and fries were a mess. I'm not sure if someone microwaved them to reserve but that's how it was texture wise. The oil seemed old and dirty to be honest. I don't think my son finished his food either. For the prices fast food serves now they should step up the quality or they will go extinct.
Normally I wouldn't complain about a Sonic location except for when the food is below quality. First off the accuracy of the order was below expectations for that I ordered a quarter pound coney meal with extra chili. The coney barely was nearly dry which was the opposite of what I ordered. On top of that the meat was over cooked at one end. The tots on appearance is seemingly cooked with older cooking oil, therefore leaving a soggy center and an overly crisp outside. The food is edible but needs a lot of improvement. The service here, on the other hand, is better than many locations. The order taker is quick to respond and greeted with positive energy and even took our order with having to repeat it once. The person that brought out our food was nice too. Repeated the order and even had positive energy.
So I order a medium heath blast and large brownie blast which was good. But the only thing I disliked was the prices it said for the medium was 4.99 on menu but it came to be 5.99, and for the large it said 5.99 but it came to be 7.99 I don't believe it was the taxs. It was really confusing.
Normally when I go to sonic, they are really good with my order. Although, this is not necessarily the fault of the employees who are there, I got home and noticed my mozzarella sticks were missing the one thing that makes them mozzarella sticks. There was no cheese in any of them. There was a tiny bit in one, but this is definitely a first for me.
Every time we've tried to use the Sonic App it has not worked at this location. Not a single time. It's frustrating because I'm pretty much on full time bedrest and I look forward to receiving my Sonic drinks. However since this location does not work with the App my Sweet Hubby has to REALLY go out of the way in order to take advantage of the ½ price drink and slushy deal that the App offers. I realize that this Sonic location still has it's "Happy Hour" from 2:00pm to 4:00pm but with the Sonic App you can get ½ priced drinks and slushies all day (7:00am - 11:00pm). They have told my Husband on MANY occasions that their ice cream machine was not working. The last time he went to this particular Sonic he was told that the ice cream maker was out of order. He was there for about 15 minutes when he saw a waitress bring shakes out to her friends. The reason my Husband knew that they were her friends is because he asked them. They told him that they stop there every night that she works because they are her ride home. My Husband told them that he doubted it took 3 cars and 7 milkshakes to make sure she got home safely especially when he was told that the ice cream machine was not working. 🤨🤔🤐 After that he zipped his lips and didn't say anything more. He has not been back to that Sonic location since. No one in this family and many of our friends will not go to that Sonic now.
Couple of weeks back they literally butchered my order. It was not minor mistake, they excluded most of the ingredient from the Burger and charged me the right amount but had given me incomplete order. Upon complaining, a representative most likely manager or supervisor called me with an apology and invited me to the store with the receipt to issue refund and correct the order. However, I questioned myself is it really worth it? It would have been a star but they definitely cared about customer so they earned 1 more star, however, some experiences are so bad that you simply would not want to visit that place again.
I love Sonic but waiting 13 minutes for them to take my order and another 15 minutes before they bring it out is ridiculous.
My husband and I ordered 2 large drinks through the app. When we got our order, one of them was a medium. After checking our app to see if we made a mistake, we called back to tell them both drinks were supposed to be large and were ready to show them our app. Through the speaker, the carhop was arguing with us because her screen said 1 medium, 1 large. Finally, the carhop came out and showed us her receipt. We showed our phone and she acted like she wasn’t going to give us our corrected drink. The manager came out, took the medium and said “we’ll do it this time”. We were confused because we didn’t do anything wrong. The workers made this situation seem like a big deal when all they should have done was look at our phone, realize the glitch on their end and give us a new drink. The consistent arguing was not needed at all.
This location unfortunately does not handle orders in a timely manner. We have waited for so long for our food too many times.
This used to be a really good Sonic, but tonight I showed up to just get a blast and was very disappointed. The first stall I parked in did not work. So, I pressed the red button in the next one and waited...and waited....and waited. No one took my order for 5 minutes, I don't know if they are short handed, but 5 minutes is too long for someone to just take the order! Then, it took a very long time to bring one blast out.
Took over 20 min to get my food. Was a basic combo order. Pretty frustrating when i’m stopping by on my lunch break and have to rush to eat to get back. Will be going to other places from now on
EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this Sonic, it takes forever to get my order. It doesn't matter the time of day or how many customers are there. They always take 7-10 minutes longer than the average Sonic. I feel like because they are in a prime location, they don't feel the pressure to provide better service. I avoid this Sonic when possible.
The food is fairly consistent. Typically the service is decent. Today though, we sat for over 30 minutes. It took 6 minutes to answer the red button. Then it took 8 minutes for them to not finish taking our order. After that I cancelled and moved to a mobile spot and ordered on the app. The online order took almost 20 minutes for three meals. After all that, the carhop basically threw the food into the car.
Ordered a cookie dough blast with extra cookie dough (extra charge) since they were out of Reese's. Total was about $6.50 for a small. Only the top, and about the first inch had any cookie dough in it, the rest was just plain soft serve. Disappointed, and won't be back. Server was friendly
Went to sonic to get my sick kiddo an ocean water. I did the mobile order and picked up then had to run into Walmart. When I got out of Walmart my daughter told me that her drink was gross and asked me to taste it. I did and there was no flavor at all, it tasted like the machine was out of syrup. We went back to sonic and told them that there was no flavor. We provided the receipt but the employee had no interest in solving the problem. Instead she got very snobby and acted as though we needed to provide a detailed report of why the drink tasted bad. She took the drink back but failed to replace it. We won’t be back. So disappointing.
Edit: 7/5 I came back to give them another try. This was my mistake. I received food poisoning from an undercooked burger. I've been dying for the past 2 hours. Also paid in cash and I was waiting to receive my change and the person just straight up took the extra money without asking if i wanted change. Ok. I guess I didn't need that. There was also a long wait when I pushed the red button and there was a max of five cars pulled in. BRO! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU GOT A PRIZE INSIDE OF THE CHERRY LIMEADES. NORMALLY YOU'D GET A CHERRY, BUT I GUESS THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL ME I NEED MORE PROTEIN....going to go throw up now....🤮🤮🤢🤢
They are NEVER opened. The night shift closes whenever they want. I do DoorDash and I have to cancel orders constantly. It’s been times where I’ll drive across town to another location because I know they won’t come to the speaker.
Beyond rude. Asked how they were doing and in a very annoyed tone ignored the question and asked me again what I wanted. This was after waiting 15 minutes to answer the red button. We had 3 drinks and he cut off the intercom before I could order the 3rd drink. It's 9pm. It's not like it's happy hour or closing time. C'mon Sonic.
Awful place. I ordered a Coke, and instead I got a cupful of ice. There was barely any Coke at all. I understand they add a lot of ice in the cup but usually servers fill it up to the brim with soda. This may seem like a minor complaint, but beverages at Sonic aren’t cheap. On top of that, my husband still tipped the server, thinking she had delivered good service. The Sonic on 104 Frenchtown Rd in Argyle provides better service.
We come here a lot and always receive exceptional service from all who bring out the food and take our order; however, this time was completely different. Apparently the “manager” was taking our order very condescendingly and treated us like we were stupid when we were literally trying to order a normal 6 inch hotdog and he said “we only have one size” and we were confused. So we asked again if they have the coney (literally the 6 inch) and he said “yes. We have a 6 inch and a 12 inch and those are the two sizes we only offer young man” in the most negative tone of voice. Before we could even finish ordering, he already told us our total and was absolutely rude. We will not be visiting this location at all and highly recommend the same if you support that kind of management. And he said to just go somewhere else and we went to 151 coffee instead and they only had 2 mins till closed and gladly accepted our business. They will forever have ours and sonic has lost ours at the Roanoke location. Ps. Before you even put your basic “please call us or contact us at this email,” it’s already been done.
I found a dead bug in my drink. Tried to call 5 times and no one answered. Not to mention I waited 10 mins for a damn cup of ice.
I’ve come to this location before and never has any issues til today. I came about 2:40 and it wasn’t busy but I get that it’s 4th of July. The screen wasn’t working and I could barely hear the girl taking my order. The carhop named McKenzie came over and rudely interrupted me while I was trying to explain what was happening. I get being a carhop for sonic probably has hard days but no need to be rude. I’ll take the drive next time to a further location.
I went here on a because I was at target and my kids were hungry and Chick-fil-A was not open. It was a mistake, The food order took over 30 minutes, The food server was extremely rude, Multiple cars got their orders before me… Just not worth it.
Every single time my boyfriend & I come to this Sonic location, our orders are wrong, we are served at least 10 minutes late, & that’s assuming the employees don’t close the building 20-30 minutes earlier than listed on both the Sonic app & Google. The employees are uncaring, rude, & make it clear that serving their customers is an inconvenience for them. my boyfriend & i come back here every once in a while bc we always think it’ll be better the next time, but sadly, that’s just not the case. We will not be returning. Summary: My boyfriend bought a drink 20 minutes prior to arriving, they were closing earlier than listed (at 10:20PM-10:40PM, instead of 11:00PM), they looked directly at us through the window, we went to the drive thru & the stall with no answer at all, & told us to go away bc they are closed & to get a refund on the app.
Honestly one of the worst sonics i have been to in a long while! Our order was handed out wrong and and i asked for the receipt in the bag, when i called and asked for it to be corrected the lady on the phone said she would let me come back and get it remade, well when I arrived the same lady told me “she doesn't remember talking to me” and i cant get my order refunded or remade! Honestly disgusting experience rip me off take my money and refuse to own up to your mistakes dont waste your time going to this sonic they are worthless
Took forever, close to 20 minutes+ and desperately need a computer/order screen upgrade all over this location. Ridiculous.
Horrible experience. I got popcorn chicken and it was all little pieces of the breading no chicken at all. The car hop was nice but the manager was horrible. Get some better staff and have you managers be more professional. The manager was in a blue shirt and had a beard.
I checked in for 4 drink at 5:15, 5:35 no drinks, they weren’t busy, I clicked button, “we don’t have your order, oh wait here it is I’ll be right out”, 5:45 no drinks, girl walks out “sir do you have a order”? Me: yes 4 drinks, her : I’ll be right out, 6:00 no drinks, I click the button and ask to cancel the order, she says they’ll be right out, 6:10 no drinks, I left. This was absolutely unacceptable. How are you goi g to keep saying it’ll be right out and it take a hour for 4 drinks? I get it’s minimum wage but Jesus I always tip extra even if it’s just drinks
Who is the Hispanic manager here? Because he absolutely sucks. Had the button pressed for over 10 min and ppl were getting greeted before me so went to get manager and he was rude as hell. Do better with your staff, Sonic.
I have gone here multiple times and sat there for 15 minutes or more and no one responds or takes my order. I usually end up leaving. My wife refuses to eat there as she found a fly in her burger a couple years back. Drinks only for us. Guess I’ll never learn my lesson with this place.
I really don't understand where any customer service exists here. The person over the loud speaker took 10 minutes just to answer, then he was very short with me. I had a couple clarifying questions, but he cut me off and completed my order. Only to have the hop come out with the wrong order and she got frustrated. I ended up just driving away because you just don't deal with frustrated people handling your food.
Tried to pick up a few snacks tonight and my debit card would not work. Or rather they could not get their POS system to take it. I called my bank, card is fine. Turned around and went to Wendy's, card works just fine for them. Oh, and works just fine at an ATM machine too because that was my first stop after being told they could not take my card. I've had nothing but issues with their card readers. Funny thing, was at another location earlier today and it worked just fine there. Guess no more Sonic for this family!
I am super happy about this post. I am so happy that there is no limit to all my words. So, last night, my gorgeous woman and I wanted to enjoy that classic American night out with a slushee and a blizard! We pulled into stall 17 as can be shown from my ipad, iphone, my samsung and my gfs iphone. :) We waited 20 minutes in stall 17 and never left. So, I called the phone number on the stall menu for the sonic manager. She blatantly told me I did not order anything, told me that I left the stall and that her staff attempted to go deliver it to us! We were super surprised as we did not see anyone approach us the entire time. Not only that, but we were shocked that because of her lack of leadership and management, she literally lied about us leaving and called me a liar. I asked her for her name, she said "Cat". Well cat, SONIC stole my money and did not give me my order. Here are some pictures of the sonic area without any lights one ( is this to deter business from coming to your spot, LOL) Why turn off the lights in a dark area? Please reply and explain. And if you want to talk face to face, just reply. I am ready. Sonic steals food now because of bad attitude leadership, but I'm sure police won't pay attention that way. Wow!
Whoever is taking the orders need to rethink how she talks to people. Absolutely disrespectful. I got a coffee and didn’t receive a straw to drink it so I pressed the call button. The call button wasn’t reading activated so I pressed it again BECAUSE IT WASNT WORKING. Tell me why she starts yelling at me over the headset saying how she’s busy and I need to stop… if you don’t like your job then don’t work there, it’s not my fault the button wasn’t reading activated and please lady, grow up and speak respectfully to people, absolutely rude. It’s 9 in the morning, how are you already annoyed to that point????
I'm not sure if this review is going to do any good. However, I'll try to warn others of the bad attitude you will receive. I noticed that the carhop was stressed out and that they were busy. I didn't want to wait 15 minutes for a strawberry shake so when they asked me for my order I asked how long it might take. I was greeted with an annoyed tone that said “I don't have a timer.” So I asked if they could guess whether it would take 5 or 10 minutes. They just replied and asked me if I wanted to order something. At that point, I decided to leave. They were busy and stressed but I didn't want to deal with a bad attitude. Save yourself. Go to another Sonic. There is one down the road at 114 & 35W. Maybe their employees will be better. This was on a Sunday around 4 PM.
Worst experience at a Sonic I've ever had! We pulled in and ended up having to move slots three times because all of the screens are broken. We simply ordered blue coconut with nerds. 20 minutes later we were still sitting there and our screen so that our food had been delivered. I had to get out of my car and go over to the employee only door. At this point we got our drinks very quickly, But they had been sitting, so the nerds were all already dissolved. Looking inside these poor kids were all way overworked and horribly understaffed. Whoever owns this Sonic should be ashamed of themselves.
Absolutely fed up with the sonic. They’re incredibly slow and have horrible customer service. I will drive the extra few miles in any direction to avoid having to go to the sonic
Apparently all sauce is extra now. Even when you buy chicken tenders it’s 20¢ a pack. If they would’ve increased the cost of the food and made sauce free, I wouldn’t have even noticed. But charge me separately for sauce, and I won’t be coming back.
They cleared the order from the kitchen (ended the timer that shows how long the order takes) about 15 MINUTES BEFORE IT ACTUALLY CAME OUT. I don't mind a $40 order taking 15 minutes, I truly do not. However, it's pure deceit to show on my screen that the order is on its way, then the order screen reappears shortly after, AND THEN, 15 minutes later the order comes out.
Literally worst sonic ever. Every time we come here, we come before close but either their ice cream machines are “down” or “off for the night” or they simply told us tonight “we stopped taking orders for the night” even though we came before they closed. So annoying. Don’t go within an hour before they close because the workers are lazy and want to go home right when the clock strikes midnight. They even turn off all of the outside lights to drive away customers from pulling in and ordering. Lol. This happens every night, we live in the neighborhood next door.
Ordered an ocean water and it arrived with no ice, we asked for a new one and had to wait 30 minutes in a empty parking lot and having to ask multiple times if we are going to get it.
experience, 05/10/2023 - unpleasant staff, not nice or kind when talking to us, more treating us like we were dumb - location not accepting mobile orders when the other sonics all around us still were. - so we had to wait for extra time for someone to take our order that we already had prepared. - also prevented us from getting half price drinks through the app which is what i was expecting and a reason i came. - popcorn chicken not having nearly enough enough sauce the way other locations make it. -breakfast burrito not having enough sauce which was included in burrito. - lots of cones blocking off 1 of 3 parking rows so we couldn’t get a space with desired distance from other cars and had to wait for a spot to open instead
I ordered 3 very simple items and it took them 45 minutes to bring my food to me so I walked up to the front and all the workers are laughing and goofing off. This is the 3rd time this has happened when I’ve gone to this specific sonic. The last time was so much worse and I should’ve learned my lesson the first time. I will NEVER go to this sonic again and highly suggest everyone else does the same.
We waited for 35 mins and never got our drink order. We had to be back to our house for someone delivering dinner and we had to leave to get back on time. Husband pushed the button and no one answered. Definitely do not recommend this location. We only ordered 3 drinks!!
EXTREMELY SLOW at this location. Be prepared to wait 20-30 minutes for food to come out cold. I've lived in Roanoke my entire life and came to this location for years. Over the past couple of years their service has progressively gone down hill. The past several times that I have visited it has taken 20-35 minutes for me to get my order. (One meal) Tonight I waited 27 minutes for food, it came out cold and the drink was watered down. I asked for ketchup 15 minutes ago and am still sitting here waiting. Nobody has answered the red light for 10 minutes. After tonight I do not plan to visit this location again. I will go to northlake or keller location.

Went to Sonic in Roanoke tonight 7/4/2024. I ordered 3 drinks through the app after waiting for around 15 minutes we pressed the red button trying to check on our order. No one would answer the red button, we waited 5 to 10 more minutes, still no answer. So I got out of the car, walked into the store and asked about our order . I was told the system had shut down or something along those lines and that they would NOT give me my order and they were NOT giving out anymore orders . And that they were supposedly going to go from car to car and tell anyone and refund everyone. They did not get any of my information to refund me , nor did they apologize for the awful service. I told them they should let people know before they wait on their order for 30 minutes. ( we had waited around 25 to 30 minutes ) I walked out and told the several people on the patio who were also waiting on orders what I had been told. We ended up leaving without our order , without a refund and no apology. I called corporate and filed a complaint, Corporate is supposed to issue me a refund in 5 to 7 business days. Also Corporate is supposed to be investigating that Sonic location and the employees since they refused to serve customers. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Sadly this store is making people sick on purpose. My neighbor came here and got a milkshake for her daughter. Half way through she said it had chunks in it....the milk was THAT bad. She became extremely sick. I went and got 4 diet cherry limeade...they weren't diet. My body doesn't process sugar which is why I order diet. Neither can my husband. the sugar made us very sick. We will NOT go back ever. I cannot believe they are doing this consistently enough that I know several families. How awful!
WORST SONIC EVER- staff is rude and completely incompetent. When ordering at the box, they got one of the drinks wrong. When we tried to correct the order they were unresponsive. Instead we did a mobile order and waited for 30 MINUTES to receive our order. When the lady came out it was the completely wrong order. When our drinks finally arrived, they were completely melted as if they were just sitting out the entire time. When we asked to speak to the manager they told us the manager only spoke Spanish and we had no way to make a complaint to where the manager would understand us. I now see why this location has an endless list of terrible reviews.
Worst customer service ever this will be my last time going there. I wasted my time and didn’t get the food ended up leaving and no one cared.
25 min for water and tea is ridiculous. Either close the restaurant or hire more staff. Any owner or manager with a small amount of business knowledge would understand this concept. Based on the consistency of bad reviews regarding long wait times over the past 6 months, you think it would have been remedied by now, but it's not, so clearly, it's not a priority. Sonic isn't good enough to wait that long.
Screens broken, food cold, 3/4 items wrong and NEVER brought our corrected food order out. Most bizarre experience.
Waited almost 20 minutes for someone to answer the button, just left after that because there were no signs of anyone answering.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a sonic. It took over 5-7 minutes to even get a response on the speaker. We even changed stalls because we thought it was out of order. When we did finally order, it took another 15 minutes to get it. The car hop did not even speak a word. The total order was ONE drink. To make matters worse we were given the WRONG drink. Over 20 minutes for one incorrect drink!
Goodness, be prepared to wait even if there aren't many customers. Ordered a combo and pickle fries, they forgot the fries for the combo so they made me place another order just for fries and had me wait an extra 10 minutes just to get my fries. I was completely done eating and was just sitting, watching order after order coming out and no fries. Holy cow, you always have fries made. Just grab some fries and get it out the door. I literally had to go inside and ask for my order. It wasn't even ready. They started making it only because I went inside. What a joke. Stay away
This is the SECOND time I've ordered from this Sonic on the App and NEVER received my food - but was still charged! I will NEVER grace this location with my presence again. They do NOT answer the call button. My name was on the order screen and they told me it would be out. I waited OVER 30 MINUTES and still NEVER received anything. The carhop even checked in on me multiple times only to say "oh, it will be right out." DO NOT GO HERE!
Took freaking forever to get my food, waiting more than 30 minutes and see everyone else getting their order before me when I was there WAY before them. I was left hanging on the mic by a guy that’s didn’t even end up taking my order and had to press the button again and wait even more for the lady to finally take my order. Don’t come here in the mornings if you’re looking for breakfast, you’ll end up waiting 40 minutes before you get your food. And on top of that my food wasn’t even cooked right. The bread wasn’t even toasted on my breakfast toaster, how as an employee, do you send out a breakfast toaster that’s not even toasted!!! Especially after the long wait, ridiculous!!!
Went through drive thru and waited 5 minutes of having to ask several times if anyone was there. Finally a voice said hang on a minute, apparently a minute to the meant another 6 minutes. Finally drive off and saw two wait staff hanging out and joking with young people who were sitting at the walk up.
General poor service and low effort made by the staff at this location. Order accuracy and timeliness issues. Staff seems friendly but it comes across in the way of "I care, but I'm over it" If you're reading this before you visit this location, I suggest you try one of the other options nearby for food.
Ordered 2 hot fudge sundaes on app with extra hot fudge. Checked in. Waited a bit. Carhop shows up with 2 ice cream cups a little bit of chocolate. No Cherry. No whip cream. No extra hot fudge. Explained they were out of whipped cream. We refused them. Requested a refund. Wasted time and disappointed.
To start off, half of the stalls to order food are not working. Then when you find one they take forever to take your order. And if you want to wait over 30 minutes to get your food, then this is the Sonic you should come to. Absolutely ridiculous.
This Sonic is the WORST!! I've tried 4 times over the past year to eat here but always ended up at Wendy's because no one would answer the call button! Today, I was lucky enough to have someone answer within a reasonable time. I ordered ONE cheeseburger and it took FOREVER to receive it, and when I finally did it was the SLOPPIEST, MESSIEST crap I've ever eaten! Absolutely will NEVER return!
I hate to complain but its ridiculous to wait 20-30min.s for an order. Not only that the order was incorrect and when we finally did get our food, the tattor tots were hard as hockey pucks and the hamburgers (Smash Burgers ) were dry as the dessert. This was horribly disappointing, especially since we were giving Sonic a second chance after waiting 30 mins, the last time we came. We changed stalls three times just trying to get someone to answer and take our order. We will not be coming back. Suggestion- Get equipment that works, better quality of food and service. Hire more people.
On May 20 @7:08AM I placed my drink order (2 drinks). I left at 7:35AM with NO drinks & I paid. I still have my receipt. Had to come to work, could not wait any longer. I pressed the red button NO one came and NO one answered me. I even called and NO one is answering the phone. This is not acceptable at all. By the time that I left there were A LOT of cars still waiting for their own order and NO one in sight.
I ordered a small Oreo blast, but received a cup of plain vanilla ice cream with maybe 1 crushed up Oreo sprinkled on top, a very poor attempt at deceiving the customer Into believing they had a properly made item. If I'm going to be charged $5 for a small ice cream, at least put my damn cookies in it .
Ordered and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. They brought it out and my spicy steak grilled cheese was untoasted bread, and was not what I ordered. There were no jalapeños, the wrong sauce, and tasted terrible. Husband's burrito was not very good either. Kids didn't eat their fries, too salty. Chicken tenders were burnt.
Horrible! Arrived before closing for ice cream and the staff ignored myself and a car next to me (that arrived before I did.) Pressed button again and was still ignored. The car next to me left. I waited. One staff member even came out of building and went to his car. Still no acknowledgement. In recent weeks the app has been turned off in the evenings. Infuriating. Have lived in the area for 10 years. For 8 of these, have visited this location 3-5 times a week after-school. So disappointed.
