I go to Java's every time I go to Rochester I don't live in Rochester my daughters and my family live there. Java's is my kind of place. This is funny but I sit in the window and I mean in the window and have my coffee with my daughter.

Was in Rochester for a camp at Eastman this summer and legit stopped in at Javas every day of the week. Was obsessed with all of the art on the walls, and the menu variety. Ordered a latte with Irish cream and it is by far the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted. Super friendly guy greeted us at the counter each day and made sure we were taken care of. Staff is incredible, efficient, accommodating. Can’t wait to be back.

Most of the employees are great. The man who serves the sandwiches is very pleasant and personable. He's probably got the best customer connections ive ever seen. Give him a raise he keeps the cafe so tidy.

Food was on point! Seriously THE BEST crust I have ever had! Great wing sauce and the wings were cooked perfectly! We were there kind of early, wait time was minimal. Super cute spot, definitely small; 10 tables, maybe. Don't skip this spot.

This is a nice place to have Pizza and Stromboli's I would recommend👍👍👍. The strabolli is like the size of a large pizza. They also have live performance. They are playing guitars and drums. This is a very nice and relaxing place to go to.And family friendly.

Great vibe, the couch is clean and comfy. I told my sister i would eat my shoe if they had baja blast. And they do, so I made myself a liar and instead just bought her a fanta. The tablet that they had me pay on did confuse me a bit, but to its credit it wasn't very sticky. It didn't have recommended percentages for tip which I have a lot of respect for.

I can’t believe I’m just now finding out about this place. I’ll keep this brief; great taste and awesome portion sizes. The pic shows 2 medium Strombolis and they are definitely filled with cheese and other toppings. The dough is soft and fresh too. I’ve been telling all of my family and friends about this place. I ordered dinner delivered. The modest salad was good, with baby spinach and light mixed greens, a little tomato and sweet onion. They put in a hefty slice of Italian bread which was too much with my dinner of eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti. The sauce is nice and mild, not too acidic and the balance of eggplant to pasta was just right. It was a delicious and satisfying meal, though I wouldn't have minded another layer of eggplant, but only just because I love it and don't make it myself.

I had the most amazing experience her. If you have a Service Animal DO NOT BE AFRAID they are very accepting here. They will ask to confirm if it is a service animal but other than that they leave you alone. The food is AMAZING the ice cream is top notch definitely get the white chocolate raspberry one it’s literally my favorite. The staff here is so sweet kind and accommodating. The seating is comfortable me any husband sat on the couch. They even have live music but we came during the day so we didn’t get a chance to witness it. Definitely will be coming again soon!!

I've only ordered pizza delivered but their pizza is some of the best in Rochester. The sauce is so good and if there are any leftovers the next day, a quick reheat in the oven is amazing stuff. Also very supportive of local live music, which is awesome

I LOVE their pizzas. It's properly thin with lots of flavors. It's not hard on your stomach unlike other pizza places. Their pepperonis and jalapeno pizza is what I always order. It's full of flavors and is spicy. Love the people who work there. Always nice and friendly. A high recommend place to eat in or order from. Since I moved to downtown Rochester, Stromboli's always been my must get from pizza for me. EDIT: Strombolis does it again. Delivered a perfect light pizza and full of flavors. The pizza was done to perfection.

Vegan White Pizza and Vegan Stromboli were excellent. The pizza dough was cooked perfectly making the pizza and crust delightful. Cheese on both the pizza and stromboli were cooked nicely with a superb melt that made every mouthful satisfying. The toppings on pizza were cooked just right. Stromboli was seasoned well and sauce was sweet, non-acidic. Atmosphere was calm with a variety of music selections that contributed toward a relaxed environment.

In town for a long weekend and found this place. I had a gluten free personal veggie pizza with dairy free cheese, and it was delicious. My husband ordered a burger and fries. The fries were crispy and so good. My kids got meatball subs and an order of cinnamon sticks. They had something for everyone, a great spot to have lunch.

I came here on my last trip to Rochester and the father son duo were an absolute gem to see. The food was incredible and the wings have been my go to. The beer selection is excellent and I highly recommend. This is my second trip in less than two months and I made sure to make time to come back here. I’ll be here every single time I come to Rochester because nothing beats this.

I had the Original Boli but, deep fried and it was awesome! The dough had a crisp, pillowy texture and the toppings were piping hot. The food was made fresh and it didn't take long at all, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely stop here on your way through the neighborhood.

Absolutely love this place. We've been here twice and the food has been great. Their strombolis are delicious, and well stuffed. Their wings are truly massive compared to the slim minis I've been getting at several local chains. And if you've never had their sandwiches, watch out for their sandwich sizes as a mini is a good size and half is huge, can't imagine what a full size is like 🤣

Really good food. Beautiful new location. Often has live music. Stromboli’s are probably the best thing on the menu. Pizza is thing and seasoned really well. They make a homemade meat sauce they use for the bolos that is really good.

I came on a Saturday at 4:45pm and the place was packed. Good chai though. Definitely has the hipster feel.

Very nice spacious cafe with lots of interesting art deco, close to music school so interesting for people watching as well. The cappuccino I had was meh, but my husband said his espresso was good. We had a strawberry lemon tart that was tasty. Oatmeal raisin cookie was solid, ginger molasses was fine (my husband enjoyed it, I’m not a fan), the chocolate chip was a letdown. Still an enjoyable experience though.

A very memorable experience that hold dear to my heart to this day (since 2007:Summer time).

Strombolis is a nice spot for american-italian especially for lunch. I like their subs a lot and they’re not too pricey. Service is good and the environment is good and has some live music at times. Prices seem to change based on cash/card and not the most up-to-date. Pizzas are good too!

Unfortunately very hit or miss. Love the vibes inside and service is friendly for the most part. But the baristas don't really seem to enjoy making the drinks and it shows

The food was good but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it. The serving sizes were large. You have to look for street parking if you drive. The inside is jazz themed if that’s something you like. We didn’t have any issues, the food and experience was just not anything too special for us.

Pizza was good, too floppy almost a little underdone but tastes good. We got boneless wings to go with it which were awful. They're cubed pieces of what tastes like grilled dry chicken covered in sauce. Very hard to chew and very disappointing. We've never seen boneless wings like that and wish we had gotten regular wings had we known

Echoing another review from a few weeks ago, where we got abruptly kicked out at 10pm when their hours were still listed as a 11pm close. They played increasingly annoying music before doing so, including What Does the Fox Say, and then yelled at us all to get out. Heard they're new baristas, idc, haven't been back since, put such a miserable taste in my mouth. Another friend had the same experience. Bad look for a Roc fixture.
