Avis sur The Bagel Shop by Fox's Rochester
Went to Fox's Bagel Shop this morning and had an awesome experience! The interior was designed nicely and staff were helpful and kind. The French Toast bagel was my big win for the day and I can't wait to go back and sample their other offerings.
Recently moved to the Park Ave neighborhood and this spot is down the block from us. Love, love, love the friendly service and the bagels are always on point. Much better than the Wegmans brand ones I’m used to. The French Toast bagel with cream cheese is amazing, especially if you toast your bagel a little longer than usual. The sugar on top essentially brûlées itself and makes for a super crunchy yet delicious bite. Excited to keep coming back and trying more varieties!
Walked by it twice before we actually went in... Now we walk out of our way to go. Bagels are good, nice variety, soft and chewy, prices are reasonable. Service is fast and friendly, all good stuff. :)
My staff and I are ridiculous when we order any kind of food. This place not only made it super fun but yummy to boot! Definitely recommend this place if you're in the Rochester or Park Avenue area!
OMG talk about the PERFECT bagel! It crunches like a delicate French baguette when you bite into it... So satisfying! The bagels are baked in an old pizza oven which I think creates that perfect crunch!

This place is top of the line every time! The consistency in which they make their bagels is fantastic and the taste is wonderful. The staff is very pleasant and always welcoming. The owner deserves all the recognition from our city for being a genuine great guy! Well done to The Bagel Shop By Fox’s whole crew.
My son and I grabbed bagels this morning. We cozied on the couch and started eating them when we got home. Mine was a Salt Bagel with Maple Bacon CC and his Plain Bagel with Plain CC. Thank you to the people working in the shop today who recommended the Salt Bagel. The combo of sweet and salty was incredible! And my son said to me "you know what? This bagel is everything I dreamed of and more." Delicious!
Endlessly happy that this bagel shop opened in the neighborhood. I brought bagels in for my coworkers to try. One teammate described the bagels as "food that tastes as good as it smells," appreciating the addition to our atmosphere on a gloomy morning. Highly recommend.
I went for the first time this morning and I was blown away. These bagels are awesome! The brown sugar cinnamon cream cheese is so good it reminds me of the Texas roadhouse butter!
I love this place can’t wait till they open going today . Their sesame bagels are sooo delightful. And the lemon ginger tea magnificent
So happy to have another bagel place in Rochester! This is a cute little shop with everything you need! I'm glad they had oat milk for coffee, but didn't have dairy free cream cheese yet. The bagels were a little hard for my taste (I prefer doughy bagels), but the toppings (lox and whitefish dip) were excellent, and I appreciated they had whitefish dip! (not sure who else does in the area). The workers were also nice and efficient and the breakfast sandwiches looked great. Will definitely be back!
I’m a bagel fanatic and I’m here to tell you these are the best quality bagels in Rochester. The texture and flavor reminds me so much of the NYC bagels I love. The owner and team are super kind too and it’s been so nice to have this addition to the Park Ave neighborhood. 🥯❤️
Awesome bagel spot and the best in ROC at this point. Staff is always attentive and friendly and it's a quick in and out.

As an ol'Brooklynite, 2 things I sorely miss from my Downstate experience, Pizza & Bagels! Took a while to find a decent slice. Just found the right Bagel. Fox's served me a toasted bagel, chive cream cheese, Lox, capers, onions and sliced tomatoes like it was "nobody's business!" BTDubs, coffee was delish too! Being my first visit, I will return to further review a 2nd, 3rd time. Gotta try some other breakfast options but for now they get a SOLID 4. Great service guys!

Gave this place one more chance, but I got a bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, the egg was brown, it was clearly cooked on a very dirty surface and was also unseasoned. I don't think they butter the bagels either, very dry. The bacon was OK, but very thin and barely cooked. It was not a good sandwich for 9 dollars and I will probably not return. 3/4 trips here have been negative so at this point it's a pattern.
The bagels are good but the breakfast sandwiches are premade and wrapped in foil. This causes the nice crispy bagel to be soft and taste day old. If you want a great fresh bagel sandwich head east to the other end of Park.

As other reviews have noted, the breakfast sandwiches are all pre-made, sitting there in foil, which of course makes them soggy. That also means you can’t choose your bagel since it’s limited to whatever sandwiches are already made (only plain in this case). Having some bagels set up to grab and go is a nice option for people in a rush, but for those of us willing to wait, freshly made sandwiches on our choice of bagel would be much better.
The egg sandwiches are premade, which sucks. The bagels get reallyyyy soggy like that. Asked for a fresh one today, they said no. No one wants a soggy chewy bagel. Go to NYC with that and they’ll laugh. It really reminds me of the premade breakfast sandwiches you can get at a gas station. Won’t be back. Any my bagel and cream cheese was just OKAY. I’ve had better in Rochester.

the prepared bagels are bad but expensive, soggy and chewy and since they’re pre made you can’t ask for a specific bagel for the sandwich. every good bagel shop iv ever been to makes the bagel when you order it so it’s fresh. Especially at the price point of around 9 dollars for a pre made bagel that tastes worse then ones iv had premade from gas stations. very disappointing but i think it could be improved if they simply made them to order. (i saw the owner responding to people saying they’re made throughout the day to insure freshness, people wouldn’t be saying this if they were fresh.)
I was just charged $16.50 for a lox & cream cheese. By my calculations, when you take into account the operating expenses of the facility, staff wages, ingredients cost, etc. the margin they earn on a lox & cream cheese bagel is about 60%. I will continue making them at home, thanks.
