Blaik is literally the best BARTENDER/hostess ever. She makes the tastiest drinks ! Her customer service is A1 ! She always keeps me Coming back. Voodoo Crab of RVC is like none other!!! From the host to cooks it is the BEST place on earth!! The food is excellent every single time! Celebrated my birthday this past weekend and when I say the service was top notch, I mean top notch. Every order was made to perfection with not one mistake! My friends and family commended them on how professional and attentive they were especially with such a large party. As usual, they didn’t disappoint. Great vibes and the playlist was on point!! No need for a dj😅. Big shout out to Sariah the hostess with the mostest!!! She made sure my party knew exactly where to go to be seated, Journey for holding down the bar ALL by herself! She did her thing from the voodoo pouches to the shots!!!! And last but not least Jimmy!!!! None of it would've been possible without him! Through several conversations and a few visits Jimmy definitely understood the assignment!!! He came through big time! Everything was as expected. He was on top of everything as if it were his own event. Everyone left very impressed with the establishment. I am very thankful and grateful for Voodoo w and its staff!!

I don’t like New York seafood. In fact, I’ve just recently expanded my horizons to eat seafood — but NY seafood is not it. I’m Ecuadorian and have only given seafood a try when I go to Ecuador. But this place… absolutely delicious. It’s a must try if you’re into seafood.

Pulled up to Voodoo Crab for a quick drink and ended up staying because the vibe was on 10. Music, energy, food, drinks, service 🔥 The food was so damn flavorful I demolished my oysters and jambalaya before taking pics.🤦🏾‍♀️ And that slushy? 🤯 I doubted it for a sec, but it was straight heat. Highly recommend this spot. And seriously … get the slushy.

I've been to Voodoo Crab in Rockville Center on several occasions. I haven't had not ONE negative experience. The staff is always polite, service is always good and the food on point (Delicious)! The environment is a vibe with great music and relaxed atmosphere. It's good for a date or even for just a get together.

1st time here and the food was amazing. Fresh and the sauce was perfect. Drinks were also very good and not weak. Rebecca was our server and she was friendly and answered all our questions. My was my mom and I for my bday dinner and Rebecca was so helpful with my mom when it came to paying the bill since I couldn't see it. Definitely will be coming again.

We had our son’s confirmation lunch at Voodoo Crab in Rockville Centre, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. With guests visiting from out of state, we wanted something memorable—and Voodoo Crab truly delivered. My husband’s family is from south Louisiana, so they know their seafood boils, and they absolutely loved this place. The food was fresh, flavorful, and fun to share, and everyone raved about it. The service was excellent, and a special thank you to assistant manager Jimmy, who was incredibly attentive and communicative both before and during our lunch. He made sure everything went smoothly and helped make the day feel extra special. Great food, great service, and a perfect spot for a celebration. Highly recommend!

The seafood boil is the best around 😋 and the atmosphere is always great with the music and service. Been to similar type chains but voodoo crab hands down is number 1 . I'll post some pics but trust me 5 stars all day!!

So happy I got the best waitress working here! Her name was Rebecca and her customer service was absolutely out of this world!!! Always love their food and ambiance but her treatment made it all the worth more! I highly recommend anyone Caribbean to dine here their food is perfectly delicious! Aside from that they are always playing Caribbean music , it’s a total vibe! Their drinks are also great. I will forever love coming here keep up the excellent service!!!!

I took my significant lover to a Valentines Dinner date and we had an amazing time! The music was great, and the vibes were immaculate. The food was amazing as well, don't get too many appetizers if you plan on getting a seafood boil. You will get full! Highly recommend the Voodoo Experience for the Boil seasoning/flavor.

A friends of mine told me about this place because of the vibe and food so I decided to try it out. This place had great service and a great vibe. The food was great I just feel the seafood boil could have had more food in it because the pictures look like they have so much more seafood in it than what I got. Overall great place great vibe definitely recommend it if your into this type of food.

Pretty good seafood boil. I really enjoyed the capri sun like drinks, refreshing and strong. The mussels were bursting with flavor. The seafood boil sauce was rich and well seasoned definitely making every bite enjoyable.

Went here for my mother’s birthday. She enjoyed herself. We went on a Tuesday night and it was surprisingly packed. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to seat us within 10 minutes. This was not my first time here. I would recommend making reservations. Also, arrive early because parking in the area is quite difficult. Service can also be quite slow though. We had to flag the hostess down to find our server, because we were seated for quite awhile with no one coming to tend to us. All in all we had a good time. The food is always good and so are the drinks. They also brought out ice cream and sang happy birthday to my mom. She loved it 🙂

Lately the wait time for drinks, food, & service is VERY VERY long. On a Friday approx 9pm, Sept 12th - Almost 10 min before our server greeted us to start our order. Ordered an Amelia drink & calamari. We FINISHED the calamari & had another 8 min before my drink even came out. Another 7-8min passed & I had to call my sever to me as she was doing shot o'clock to take our entree order. She did not check on us after originally taking the drink & app order. I ordered another drink with my entree since my 1st drink wait time was long, with this one taking even longer. Missed opportunity as I typically would've spent more money & had 2 drinks already in that time span. I ordered the Branzino with a side of collard greens. My daughter ordered a boil. My collard green came out with my daughters boil. It got cold while I watched my daughter eat, to give you an idea on the very long wait time for my Branzino. My server claimed the orders got mixed - no she didnt take my order right & added it as takeout hence the wait (see pic). Had to flag the server down to take it so it can be warmed up & come out with my entree. 2nd Drink finally came, but not my branzino. Could've had another 2 drinks in the very long wait time. I usually have 4 drinks in one sitting as they're not strong. Not this time. I had to flag the server again to bring my takeout order, which she had get by the door & made no sense not to bring to me. Had to flag her down again for the check. Service has gone down in the past several months. Even when you sit at the bar, you have to flag bartenders down because they're busy talking. Mangement needs to mix in new "mature" talent, who these others can learn from to bring the service levels back to standards. People like me tip according to service levels & they need to be shown the type of money generated with attentiveness to guests.

The place was brightly lit. A lil too much for my taste. The popcorn shrimp wasn't seasoned. Drinks were good. Service was great...Dylan was wonderful. The bathroom is a little sparse in elbow room.

want to be clear and straightforward about my experience. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was genuinely pleasant. The staff created a welcoming environment, and that part of the visit was solid. However, the oysters were a problem. The charbroiled oysters had a slimy texture that didn’t match their appearance, and while the flavor was acceptable, the consistency was off. The Oyster Fest oysters were even more concerning—grainy, overly briny, and uncomfortably slimy, as if they hadn’t been cleaned or handled properly. The real issue came afterward. The next morning, both my friend and I woke up feeling seriously ill. We experienced nausea, chills, stomach pain, and vomiting throughout the day. Given that oysters were the only shared item we ate, the connection is hard to ignore. I appreciate the strong service and good vibe, but the food safety concerns overshadowed everything else. This was not a minor reaction—it was a full day of being sick. I hope the restaurant reviews their handling of oysters to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

The place is very crowded and very loud. The food is good but it can be better. Fried rice with shrimp is very good but its not enough for the price. Drinks are good. Oysters are sooo small for the price. Servers are great!! The wings are very good too Update: 8/23/2025 i ordered shrimp fried rice and i ate just a little because i have popcorn shrimp too. I asked them to box it to go. When i get home all the shrimp was gone and its just plain fried rice! What a shame!!!

Food was amazing. Service was terrible. Asked for a garden salad for myself (I don't eat seafood, was with my friends). Asked for no tomatoes. Came with tomatoes. Tiny salad for $7 I would expect it to be right. My friend's ordered the seafood boil with snow crab and head on-shrimp, with juicy cajun sauce at mild. They said the food was delicious. It came quickly, less than 15 minutes. $83 for both sea food boils. Asked for a side of sauce right when we got our food. No one showed up after 10 minutes so we had to flag someone down, they told us to ask our server. I asked if he could get her since she hasn't come to check on us. Don't know why he didn't tell us that the first time instead of letting us wait for her. The music was extremely loud, you can't hear someone next to you talking. I had to lean into the waiter's ear for her to be able to hear me. We had to ask to lower it a bit. At first we were told no, but when we requested to be moved she changed her mind. The music playing wasn't family friendly at all. I love The Weeknd but Sao Paulo is not a song that should be playing when families are eating at a restaurant.
