Just had another fabulous meal at taste Buds. The steaks are always good but tried a Mexican menu tonight and it did- not disappoint. All washed down with a bottle of Rioja Excellent food and service.

The staff here are so lovely and helpful and the food is a perfect mix of Asian Indian and European. You can choose from the full menu which covers just about everything or the Menu del Día which for £15.95 a head is marvellous value. The whole restaurant is very stylishly furnished and is opposite the Golf Course at La Maquesa. Go and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.

Just ate at Taste Buds. Service was impeccable and its been the best quality and tastiest meal so far this week I had chicken Kiev and hubby had cod n chips, so tasty and filling, was going to have a pudding but honestly can't mange one, will definitely be coming here again , probably tomorrow!

Food was 10/10 and the same for the service. Highly recommend this reasturante we had one chicken and 1 prawn skewers and a chocolate fudge cake. Flavours were bursting through. We will be back.

This was our 2nd visit to Taste Buds whilst house sitting for friends. We booked for the Christmas day dinner, evening sitting. For starter's we had the prawn cocktail, which was delicious, followed by the beef wellington and seasonal veg, which again was very good. Both starters and main had generous portions. Myself not being a desert person skipped the desert but my wife had the Christmas pudding, again no complaints. The atmosphere was good and it was nice to engage in conversation with a nice Dutch couple that sat on the table besides ours. Would have been nice to have a shot of Bailey's at the end but no deal breaker. No doubt we'll be back before we go home in the new year.

For anyone looking for something to eat at La Marquesa this place is an absolute must! A group of seven of us came across Taste Buds more by luck than judgement but we wished we had found it sooner! Such a wide variety of food to choose from on the menu to suits everyone’s tastes. We all had something different and each us of us said how great the food was. Decent sized helpings all at a really reasonable price. A really nice, comfortable restaurant and the staff were absolutely amazing! We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were flying home a couple of days later we would have gone back but we will definitely be going back there again the next time we are in Guardamar. Would highly recommend.

Came along this evening for birthday meal. Service was excellent and food was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend- we will certainly be back when we return to Spain- one of our favourite places to eat in the local area.

A lunchtime date for five local neighbours and friends of over 20 years. Polite and friendly service. An extensive and varied menu meant there was something for everyone. All plates were completely cleared and all at a good price.

My wife and i had a lovely evening there tonight. They were very attentive and the food was served just as it should be. Plenty of flavour and at the right temperature. The atmosphere was very cosy and welcoming. You must go and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Wonderful restaurant and the staff are so warm and friendly. We hadn’t booked and they welcomed us in. The food was delicious, we had the Greek salad followed by a seafood paella. The sangria was also very good!

Me and my family went here in August on our family holiday. It was the best food ever! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. So much so we just had to go again. And even second time around absolutely wonderful! Cannot recommend enough.

Attracted to this restaurant by the good reviews and the extensive menu. Was not disappointed. Party of 5 had a variety of starters and mains and all were excellent. Service was prompt and friendly and the venue was clean and comfortable. Visited on a Monday evening and was surprisingly not very busy. The bill at 95€ for 5 was a nice surprise. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

October 2025 update- Friendly helpful welcome, food selection is great we had Mexican this evening. The Burrito was excellent packed full of tasty chicken rice and beans, served with a side salad & triple cooked chips. Mum did want abig meal so she enjoyed the beef natchos, we also had a serving of onion rings. This is a great place to enjoy a meal at the end of the day overlooking the golf course as the sun goes down.####July 2025 Update- Still a favourite standards are being maintained and the food is very good. We helped celebrate the 1st anniversary this visit.###Friendly welcome & fast efficient service during my visit. Nice decor inside with some outdoor seating. The food is very tasty & filling with a variety of dishes from around the world, you can enjoy a Indian starter, Mexican main & Italian dessert if you wish. This is a good addition to the La Marquesa offering & is a new favourite of mine.##Update May 2025- Fantastic again, I really enjoyed the Bruchetta to start, then tucked into the chicken Burrito, which was stuffed with everything you wanted. I also had a serving of chips but really didn't need them as the Burrito was more than enough! Service is still of the highest standard. A great choice.

This is the best meal I have had in Alicante. Our starters were fantastic and full of flavour. The Fajitas were delicious, too. I filled two wraps and still had plenty left. The children's menu was good, too, with about 12 options. Will go back before we go home! It was extremely reasonably priced and airconditioned inside. Lobely view of the golf course opposite. Thank you for the excellent service, too.

Have to say, had an absolutely delicious meal this evening. Such a varied menu, and everything freshly cooked to perfection. We were very impressed at the quality and consistency of it all. My chicken Kiev was proper old school, beautifully juicy whole stuffed chicken breast. Tasty jhalfrezi with a nice spice level and depth of flavour. Perfect breaded squid, no chew, just spot on. beautiful fresh breads, rice and veg. You can tell the care and attention going into every dish. I wanted to try here for a while, and I can say it's an instant favourite, we were very well looked after! Well done to Prince and the team, you're doing great things here 😋😇🙏

Aanrader, lekker eten en goede bediening. Inmiddels al een paar keer aangeschoven, hondje mocht ook mee naar binnen (wel even vragen), tafeltje in de hoek. Binnen is het licht erg fel, moet je maar aan wennen in Spanje 😉. Fles wijn vanaf € 9,95, deze keer hadden we een Sauvignon Blanc voor € 14,95. Voor de hapjes (zie foto’s), mandje brood met smeersel, fles wijn, kleine fles water, 1 x koffie en 2x asiatico koffie betaalden we een kleine € 50,-. Uitzicht op de golfbaan met ondergaande zon 🌞.

Come to this part of spain every year. Dined out at tastebuds at least 2/3 times in our week. The service is fast and always with a smile, menu is so varied and caters for every taste and portions are generous. I recommend to try this restaurant, you certainly won't be disappointed, its one of the best here

This restaurant is a gem. Great prawn and Brie starters followed by fresh fish. Absolutely lovely and would recommend. The waiters all had smiles in their faces and were very attentive. Excellent food and service

Me and my partner went for an on the fly date night and its was lovely, the boys cant do enough for you. So attentive, helpful, friendly and more. We both had garlic prawns to start, I had a sirloin steak with a creamy mushroom white wine sauce, My partner had the prawn skewers. Followed by a beautiful baileys coffee. Super tasty. Highly recommend 👌 You leave feeling like your tastes buds have been satisfied.

We had a lovely meal to celebrate a family member’s birthday. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, (put up a banner and provided a free dessert with a sparkler). Very impressed with the food too and lovely Sauvignon. We will be back, thank you ☺️. The only criticism is the background music. Could be much better.

Celebrited my wife's 60th birthday here tonight, December 6th with 18 other invited guests. The food and service was impeccable as usual. I highly recommend this restaurant for celebrating birthdays or anniversaries. It's also a great place to go for a quiet dinner or a night out with friends.

Its been awhile since we have visited but still didn’t disappoint just as good. Plenty of choice on the menu plus menu del plus some specials. They deliver quality food with care and attention to detail. The steak pie special was the best i have ever had since living in Spain hope they keep it on the menu .

Very nice new restaurant with fantastic food and a great choice of options too, but the staff could use a little more training making sure their clients have everything they need (cutlery, condiments, drinks) which I'm sure will improve over time.

Staff were helpful, friendly and worked hard. Not long opened, could maybe have 1 more staff member. Food can take up to 45 mins, so just relax with your table and don’t expect a quick meal. This does depend on the time you arrive. Food was lovely, plenty of choice and tasted hot and fresh. I would suggest having the lights dimmed slightly as it is very bright inside. Also the toilets need a little bit of care, there was nowhere to dry your hands in the ladies. No blower or paper towel. Would recommend, price was reasonable and will go back again.

This was my first visit since they opened only a few month back. From looking at the signs outside I first got the impression that it was Italian and Mexican but it offers food from so many other places maybe a bit more Indian dishes. I sat outside and looked at the menu and it was a new waiters first day so she couldn’t really recommend other than the curry. That’s okay, I like supporting the local restaurants so it’s a start for everyone. I ordered today’s soup, tomato soup, as a starter. From the picture it’s probably always the same soup if the day😉 For main I wanted to test the Mexican section with a burrito with beef. A few minutes later a small basket with two pieces of nicely homemade and freshly baked bread arrived together with a dip. At first I thought it was aioli but I couldn’t figure it out but it wasn’t. Then after a few additional minutes my main dish arrived🧐 Where is my soup? Oh sorry the new waiter forgot to write it down we can redo the entire order if you wish. I’m not into throwing food out so of cause they shouldn’t do that and I just told them I skipped the starter. Soon after an embarrassed waiter came out and apologized. Again they offered me to redo it and we all make mistakes. So the food review….. yes of cause. Well the burrito was sorry to say a bit disappointing. The filling was dry and the beef was very tiny pieces, tender yes but all have the same texture and in this case also the same taste. “Real” Mexican restaurants have larger pieces of meat and onions, peppers etc give different textures. I would have loved a salsa sauce and that the guacamole was homemade. Chips potion was big and good amount of salt on them but the potatoes was floury. It’s a big thing to try and master so many different kitchens. Maybe I was just unlucky and should have tried another dish. I do wanna support the local restaurants and I give them an additional ⭐️ just for that but I’m not sure what kitchen they represent as the best place to go🤷🏼‍♂️

A very nice venue in the old Perla Roca building adjacent to the north end of La Marquesa golf course. Spotless dining room with nice decor, very small outside terrace with tables for two. The menu isn't extensive, but there are plenty of choices to suit most tastes. Service is relatively fast-paced, welcoming and friendly. Recommended for couples, families, and small groups.

Vandaag daar gegeten met een grote groep van ongeveer 50 personen. Voorgerecht was okay maar het hoofd- en nagerecht? Mischien hadden wij tweeën pech? Ik had fish and chips. De vis was ver te zoeken, een dun stukje vis met een mega beslag erom heen die bovendien veel te hard was gebakken. Mijn mes kwam er bijna niet doorheen en als je het al kon aansnijden, vlogen de kruimels keihard beslag in de rondte. En als extraatje zaten er ook nog graten in dat stukje vis. Mijn vrouw had Chicken tiki masala. Een bord met een kommetje rijst, vol met saus en welgeteld 4 kleine stukjes kip. Als nagerecht hadden wij beide cheesecake. De smaak was okay maar het was veel te zacht en papperig. Het personeel was vriendelijk maar het eten viel zwaar tegen.

Been to this restaurant on lots of occasions the reason why we booked Christmas day second sitting , to be very disappointed in being served first course pate which had been sat a while , two different choices for main , turkey served from a processed turkey roll no stuffing except for a residue of wat remined in the centre lots unedible which I couldn't tell wat it was as bone doesn't bend 😳 veg frozen unexpected for the price 55 euros a head one sprout , which was disgusting , beef Wellington raw asked to cook a bit more along with 2 more people from a different table , came out with a fresh potion which was 100 percent better , which im sure they would of done for me but I didn't want it , no atmosphere of Christmas now Christmas crackers on the table , waiter so attentive and apologetic 3rd course Christmas pudding in a slice with little sauce I know we could of asked for more sauce , but by this time we were so disappointed and wished we had cooked at home , my favourite was the roast potatoes best I've tasted , wine good and taken off 2 glasses from the bottle whitch was part of the 55 euros offer on Christmas day so disappointed

Well we found out that if your Spanish you get your food about 2€ cheaper per item than an English menu!! Server said oooh sorry it’s an old menu, but was a new menu the same as the English & up to date ! Very annoying to feel cheated to segregate us thinking we was just tourists !! Dry disappointed!! Shame on you !!!
