Chicken Maison

The food provided at Chicken Maison is wonderful, and not "fast food". Many delicious offerings; the staff is great. I see that a few folks were concerned about order mistakes, so I guess they're human, but can't imagine why anyone would "never go there again". They're missing out on the best food value on the hill.

Been coming here for 5 years, and they've really kept their standards up. No wonder they are almost always busy. Seriously, order on the phone so it's ready when you get there! To be honest, the chicken can be pretty dry if you don't order a whole chicken or thigh. All of their dishes are really fantastic though; the Chinese chicken salad being my favorite. Friendly staff, excellent food, a great combination!

Placed perfectly in the peninsula shopping center. This place is always packed and many people order carry out. The place is very busy so I suggest carryout. The whole chicken meal for 20 bucks is great. Get the rice as a side. I liked the grape leaves too! I did get the lemon garlic basil seasoning. It was great. The portions are huge. We get about 4 meals out of it if we eat sparingly and have dessert.

Staff is fine but nothing special. Atmosphere: strip mall food joint albeit clean. Food is always delicious. Streak Kabobs are amazing but everything is overpriced IMO. Garlic sauce for the win. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent service and quality of food. I could not decide on lentil or chicken soup and without asking I was given two samples. Both soups taste great. I was in the mood for chicken soup. Clean environment and friendly staff. Always a great place for clean and healthy eating.

Not a fancy place, but great kabobs & Mediterranean food to go. My Dad is on a no salt diet, but you can ask for the chicken to be washed with no seasoning. Still tastes great just off the grill.👍🏻

I enjoyed the variety of sauces they offered, which allowed me to customize the flavor to my liking. The service was quick, which was great for a weekday lunch, but the restaurant was a bit crowded, so finding seating was a bit of a challenge. Prices were reasonable, and the portion size was fair. While it may not be the most extraordinary dining experience, it's a solid choice for a tasty and filling meal.

The rice is great and has raisins (Mediterranean style) but not so many that if it isn’t to your liking you couldn’t pick them out. A plate will run you about $11.75. If you order a la crate it’s $8.75 so you’re better off getting the platter and splitting it (very generous portions). The staff here are amazing and so kind! We love coming here for a quick, healthy and relatively inexpensive bite to eat.

The food is consistently amazing. I order from here almost every week. The staff is very nice and friendly every time.

We had a great experience yesterday on Valentine's Day, despite it being busy and us being in a rush. Their service was speedy, and staff were very attentive. The food is delicious and speaks for itself, if you have ever tried it! I will definitely go back to this location in PV though for a nice dine-in experience.

We frequently order from the Rolling Hills location and have been very satisfied with the quality of food and service. However, on Saturday, evening, January 30, the on-phone order taker failed to input our complete order and. In addition, the salad we ordered was swimming in dressing, even though we asked that the dressing be on the side. So our order was incomplete for which we paid, and the instructions we gave were not followed. Pleae check youir order before leaving the restaurant with your takeout.

Love the food, hate the delivery. Talk about terrible delivery service - I was yelled at by the delivery person because they didn't know how to open an unlocked gate door! It took him maybe 20 seconds to get inside. And when I apologized, I was met with a dirty look and a snarky comment. Embarrassed me in front of neighbors. Never again will I opt for delivery.

chicken maison was a staple in my diet throughout my childhood. when i returned when visiting home after college, I couldn't believe how bad the service was. honestly only giving them 2 stars because at least the food is good. however, every other time we order, they mess up our order. my biggest peeve is that they insist that they got the order right. for example, I ordered an original chicken and specified that I wanted no sauce. they said they understood. why did I get a lemon garlic chicken then..? and when I said that I asked for no sauce, they insisted that I said lemon garlic then after a while, the kids working said, "can't u just take it?" sad that the places up the hill, are going down the hill.

The staff was rude. The girl at the desk was rolling her eyes when I didn't realise the bread was not with my gyro then the guy said we are busy. So I got my food not complete. They could have explained nicely instead they acted as if I was supposed to know what was going on. Then the young woman reached over me not excusing herself or explaining she'd be leaning over me. No awareness and lacking good customer service. Food was adequate.

I rated this place five stars before, because the food and service were both great. However what happened yesterday ruined my lunch and my experience. I paid the cashier and told her the amount I gave her at same time; the cashier took my money, said nothing, put it away then gave me less change than she should. When I asked why, she then said I gave her less than I told her! I asked why you didn't say so before you put the money away? She started to argue with me to insist that I was wrong. When I asked to speak with manager, she said she is acting as manager. After about 8 minutes, she said how about a free drink, I said no, I just want correct change. I my view, cashier should put customer's payment on the counter, gave change to customer first then put money away, so in case of dispute, the original money is still there for counting. I would not be upset if she admitted her mistake and give me the correct change right way, but she didn't. We also noticed there was no air conditioning, the room was very hot and uncomfortable yesterday, and the "lemon-mint water" tank was just filled with tab water. It seems that current manager is trying to cut cost and get more money from customers in any way she can. As a long time customer, I am very disappointed.

Instead of correcting the charge or showing concern, he laughed and walked away, leaving me standing there. This is not only unprofessional but also unfair to customers who reasonably expect to be charged the price shown on the menu. If the restaurant has increased prices, they should update their menus to reflect that, not surprise customers with hidden charges at checkout. I left feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Until management takes responsibility and addresses this issue, I cannot recommend this place.

Good was awful. Kababs were dry. Vegetables are right out of a frozen bag. Waaaaaaaaaaay Overpriced. Makes McDonalds look like Prime Rib!

There are always hairs in the hummus. I have found hair in my hummus 3 times. I'm not going back to this place.

Ordered via GrubHub and paid $15 for the delivery fees! It came an hour late. The roasted chicken with basil was roasted chicken with a pound of minced garlic which completely ruined any basil flavor- we did our best to scrape it off. So disappointed 😔

The worst manager ever! They got my order wrong 5 times at lunch today. I ordered 1/4 chicken, dark meat, spicy sauce and as the two sides I wanted the Med fries. What came out was 1/4 chicken, white meat, regular, regular fries. I sent it back and it came back just as it was. I sent it back again and it came back with the spicy sauce on top of chicken with additional bill for $1. I sent it back and it came back for the med fries and they argued that it was. I reminded them that the med fries has garlic sauce on it. She said "oh yeah". Came out again and when I cut into the chicken it was the breast. Then the manager argued with me that it WAS dark meat. I would think that by the 5th time they would have comped my order. I called the owner and he hasn't returned my call. The manager is the owner's son. Figures! I will never go there again, and I used to go all the time. And I'll tell everyone about my experience too. Train your employees for customer service!

Hungry nurse-I order weekly the Maison Special Salad. I request an extra dressing or the salad is too dry for my taste. I'm now being charged $.75 for that extra small container (30cc) of dressing. I spoke with CM and was told if I eat inside (not delivery) there would be no charge. Really??? Money grabbing practice, bad form.

We purchase an order and not even 5 minutes we decided to cancel the order and they denied saying that the order was already being made. Cashier guy was rude and refuse to give me credit. We have being coming here for years at lease once a week. Now my company will never come back to this establishment ever again. I will call credit card and will dispute purchase.
