Avis sur El Pollo Inka Rolling Hills Estates
Across the street from my house. I order weekly, to go almost always. I admit it's almost always the same order... Ahi chicken or Pollo picante, with the upsized soup !" I'm about to order now. It's the best, and the people there are fantastic. So glad to have them all in our neighborhood. They bring old world charm and culture to a city that is in desperate need of that very thing.
Really enjoyed the food here. Ceviche was very good, quarter chicken was very tasty and good value, beef stir fry was also a good choice. Plantains seemed more like regular bananas since they are sweet and very soft... The ones I've had in Latin countries were drier, more neutral, similar to a chip. Regardless, i liked them. Had the pisco sour. A bit on the exy side... Very foamy, a bit low on volume. Would have preferred a bit more in a bigger glass. Highly recommend you try this resto
My team had a fabulous experience dining at El Apollo Inka during our retreat! The outdoor dining area is comfortable and well-decorated, with a fireplace and patio heaters. The staff were attentive and friendly and ensured we were well cared for. We arrived during happy hour and were delighted to try several appetizers and drinks before ordering our entrees. Our team has a variety of dietary needs, and we’re impressed by the many tasty options, including vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian. A live band played various songs and instrumentals during dinner, inviting everyone to dance. It’s impossible not to enjoy the food, drinks, music, hospitality, and overall experience at El Pollo Inka!
There is a small parking lot in front, but it is usually full. The mall also has a parking lot. There is outside and inside dining. We sat inside. The booths are comfortable. The meals come with bread and a spicy green sauce that tastes so good. We had the cau cau de camerone, and the rotisserie chicken combo. Both were delicious.
Very reasonable prices. Great food and service. There are lots of tables and even more booths. Large groups would be no problem. They have many good options including roasted chicken. Be brave and try a new Peruvian dish. Shop and eat local!!! There is a small parking lot next door, but plenty of parking in the mall structure.
It's a very tasty and flavorful meal, not fine dining but delicious and once you have it you will be craving it, especially the "Como saltado"
The food is good. We've been going here for years. Im Peruvian so, I of course think my families cooking is better that's why I gave a 4 star. But if you aren't lucky enough tob have hone cooked Peruvian, you'll be very happy.
Everything was great except the beans! I love how they always have a performer there. The performer/artist/musician is always excellent! The only issue I had this visit were the beans! I've never had issues buying beans from this chain restaurant. But this last visit they served the beans watered down and no flavor. They were gross!
Shout out to our friendly and outstanding server, Luis. Luis made our experience a pleasant one. This was my first time here, and I would love to come back and try something different. I had Lomo saltado, and it was ok. My husband had the 1/2 chicken, and it was DELICIOUS 👌 very flavorful.
This restaurant has definitely grown in its quality and size over the years. This new location has a dog friendly patio and an expansive menu. The food is as close to authentic as you can get without going to Perú yourself. This new location has a full bar with large screen TV. They have daily specials and almost daily music. It's a definite recommend.
Really easy to call ahead for takeout. Plenty of parking in the outdoor lot next to the restaurant. No one at the hostess station when I arrived though, and no one came over to help me. I stood there for some time, watching servers walking around serving dine-in customers. Then I turned around and saw a table with takeout orders on it and saw my food. The food is pretty oily and salty. I asked for several of the entrees to be made gluten-free, so they omitted the soy sauce. The servings are large, so our group of 5 adults still had some leftovers after sharing 4 entrees and a side.
This was my first time here, my boyfriend is from this area and always spoke highly of this place and gave me history on the owners and family and such which was cool and neat. The atmosphere was beautiful! Service was nice but it was a little slow honestly. I ordered the Papa a la Huancaina con Bistec. The Bistec was absolutely delicious! As well as the sauce that came smothered in. But as far as the boiled potato. You would think for the potato being boiled ot was supposed to be served hot or at the least warm for it being labeled as "boiled" but my first bite it was like refrigerator cold. I asked the waitress out of curiosity she immediately took my plate back then immediately brought it back saying thats how its supposed to be....as they cook their potatoes only once a day in the mornings. So my guess is once they cook them they refrigerate them. The they serve the "boiled" potatoes cold without reheating. I just saved my food to go and reheated it all at home...🤷🏻♀️
I came here to eat with my family for lunch. We ordered anticucho de corazón, jalea, 1 pollo entero, and inka mar. Everything was super delicious and there were no problems so far. We ordered picarones and it had a horrible, sour taste at the end of each bite. We tried a two bites each to make sure it was either the sauce or the picaron itself. We talked to the waiter and he went to the kitchen then came back and said it was fine and thats how its supposed to taste and that it needs the sauce to make it sweet. My parents have eaten picarones in Peru and they didn't think that was true. The picarones left a nasty taste in our mouths. We went to another El Pollo Inka restaurant in Hawthorne Blvd and ordered the picarones again. That place had super delicious picarones with and without the sauce so we were able to confirm that the waiter was not being honest with us about the picarones in this El Inka Pollo restaurant. Thats why I give it a low rating. If anything, I wouldn't go to this restaurant and instead go to another El Inka Pollo restaurant.
I’ve been going here since it’s been open, and the food is great, especially the Chaufa. However, the service and prices have really gone downhill. Every time I order here the prices are way up. Additionally, I often order online where is says food will be ready in ~15 or whatever the app says however I get there and up having to wait 15-20 more minutes after it says it will be ready. When someone finally comes up to help me after I’ve been standing around for 10 min and I ask about my food, they seem kinda rude (although that could just be because I’m frustrated from waiting so long).
My review was of 5 stars since the past 3 years I’ve been going to this place but on November 4th they gave me raw chicken. I ate it and it felt a bit weird, from the outside it looked cooked. Well then I check the chicken and I see it as the picture I’m going to attach. Not only did I eat that raw chicken but right after my body rejected it and I had to throw up so bad. I went to the restroom and I was throwing up none stop for like 10 minutes even my husband had to come into the restroom to check in, I was red and felt the worse I have ever felt. They still had the dignity to charge me even knowing that i basically threw up everything i ate because of the raw chicken. I wanted to speak to a manager and they claimed no manager was available so they took down my number for the manager to give me a call and as I right this it is November 24th and I’m still waiting for a call… at least to apologize or something! As much as I loved this place I will never ever be stepping a foot into there.
