Avis sur Le Pinine Roma
Before coming here, I had an unpleasant experience at a nearby pizza place. But once I arrived, the owner’s kindness and the friendly conversation and laughter shared with the people at the next table really lifted my mood. The pizza was excellent, and the place had a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
They have really interesting combinations of the toppings. I enjoyed the one with raisins, olives and shaved almonds. They have the pinsas lined up on the counter so you can pick based on how it looks. I'd come back here again.
Fantastic local pizza spot with a cracker-like crust. The pizzas are topped and on display in a deli case - you make your selection and they bake it to order. Amazing price for the quality (under 8 euros per pizza). Super helpful and friendly staff.
This was an excellent stop for a light easy dinner. Delicious Roman style pizza (slightly crispy yet airy dough) and local flavors like procuitto/smoked cheese/sweet squash sauce (YUM!) and ultra thin potato slices/sausage. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating including making room for us to sit and offering recommendations. Small outdoor seating section only. Closes early for dinner (by Italian standards) so get there at least an hour before closing to ensure there is still a good selection remaining. Great value for the quality of food. All locals eating when we were there. Not at all touristy.
Absolutely fantastic little spot. The pizzas and the rice balls were wonderful. The flavours offered were very interesting, and one of my favourites was the pizza with crushed pistachios on top. I couldn't believe how cheap it was when it was so good. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. I was so happy this was 2 minutes away from my hotel!
First of all, great food. The pizza was crunchy and had a nice balance to it. It was also an excellent portion for lunch. Plus the price for a pizza, a soda, and a suppli were really affordable for lunch. The ingredients were really fresh. The service was excellent! They were really friendly and spoke multiple languages. You could tell the staff were having a good time and you could tell that in their service and food quality. This is a traditional italian pizza place with no frills but we're surrounded by locals. It was traditional but definitely not old. Definitely recommend this for a quick bite!
The best pizzeria in all of Rome hands down. This place has wide variety of different pizzeria flavours and selection. They always seem to have a special and decided to give it a try today and I was blown away, it is simply delicious and really tasty. Ordered a pizza with potato crisps, leeks, green onion and lardo slices and it paired so well together. It was super tasty, yummy and mouth watering! I really loved it. Excellent prices, great staff and excellent decor. Will come back again! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Rome for good pizza!
I think the food was good, but a bit overhyped. The service however was fantastic - both the staff who helped us were very friendly and willing to explain everything patiently. The pizza was good, but the crust was a bit on the dry side. They had really interesting options to choose from however, so it’s definitely worth giving them a try. The rice balls were delicious and had a great texture and moisture level.
Cheap Pizza Marred by Deceptive Currency Practice - Will Not Return I had a mixed experience at Pinsere that unfortunately ended on a very sour note, ensuring I will not be returning. I ordered the eggplant pizza (€7.50). While the pizza itself was fresh and the concept is interesting, I found it to be quite under-seasoned and lacking in flavor compared to other fantastic pizza in Italy. However, the main issue occurred at payment. I used Apple Pay with my Australian debit card. Without any warning or request for my preference, the payment terminal automatically charged me in Australian Dollars (AUD) instead of Euros. It resulted in me being charged an extra 80 cents AUD due to their terrible, inflated exchange rate. Having traveled to over 120 countries, I am well aware that the correct choice is always to be charged in the local currency (Euros) and let my bank do the conversion. This is the first time a merchant has automatically applied the DCC option without giving me a choice. This practice feels incredibly deceptive and like a trap for unsuspecting tourists. The pizza was okay for €7.50. Being unknowingly overcharged on top of that for the "convenience" of a service I did not ask for is unacceptable. A simple heads-up from the staff would have been the ethical thing to do. I cannot recommend this place when there are countless other amazing and honest bakeries and pizzerias in Rome.
