Location situata a Trastevere a circa 5 minuti a piedi da piazza Trilussa (direzione porta Portese). Il locale, all'interno è composto da volte e mura che danno l'idea di una locanda dell'antica Roma, con tavoli distanziati tra loro (per avere una privacy maggiore) e all'esterno un giardino dove poter consumare riparati da un grande tendone. Tanti i piatti della tradizione romana e di pesce proposti dallo chef, con alcune variazioni/rivisitazioni che rendono gli stessi a mio avviso ancora più appetitosi e accattivanti. Abbiamo assaggiato un primo (spaghetti vongole e cozze) e un secondo (trancio di tonno) con contorno (insalata). Le porzioni sono giuste perché si ha modo, successivamente, di godere dei dolci (veramente top) quali ad esempio la cheesecake o gli amaretti gentilmente offerti dalla casa (oltre alla crostata di fichi Settembrini superlativa). Un plauso particolare a Tiziano che ha reso il nostro pranzo eccezionale con consigli sul vino e pietanze da scegliere. Complimenti alla padrona di casa perché in questo locale, nel cuore di Roma, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa (e non è poco). A presto e di nuovo complimenti.

Ho pranzato in questo locale la settimana scorsa. L'ambiente è tranquillo e confortevole; merito anche dello staff che vi è dietro. Sono rimasto colpito dalla qualità e fantasia di ogni singolo piatto che ho assaggiato. Ci ripasserò ben volentieri.

Ristorante dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente, con il servizio delicato e molto piacevole. Il menù ha superato le aspettative: gli antipasti di crudi erano una delizia, in particolare il gambero rosso con sfere di tartufo, un mix eccezionale per non parlare dello scampo alla fragola. I primi abbiamo preso, spaghettoni all'astice, è stato un vero piacere per il palato, saporitissimo e con l'astice morbido e succoso; una fregola con porcini mazzancolle e timo, anche questo piatto veramente saporito e ben bilanciato. Una cena da ricordare con sapori classici e nuovi veramente ben bilanciati

È il posto che non ti aspetti, intimo, familiare e poco turistico 😍 Ho assaggiato: dalla delicata ricciola affumicata, burro, alici e limone alle gustose e ben fritte polpettine vegetariane (il cui ripieno cambia in base alla stagionalità delle verdure). 🧆 Da non perdere anche i Tortelli di burrata con colatura di Alici Armatore e fiori di zucca. Unici e particolari! Molto buoni anche gli spaghettoni ajo e ojo con fichi e totani. 🍝 Super buono anche il Pastrami con cetriolini, salsa Tzatziki e pane carasau. 😌 Tra i dolci, vi consiglio di provare la variazione ai tre cioccolati: sorbetto fondente Venezuela 100%, mousse fondente Modica 75% e Pan di Spagna al cacao e cremoso al caffè. 🥮 Beh, però anche il cremoso al pistacchio… Varia e buona anche la scelta dei vini. 🍷

Piacevolissima sorpresa a Trastevere. Non il solito ristorante tipico che si trova comunemente in zona. Mi sono trovato molto bene a partire dall'ambiente curato e ricercato. Molto attento il personale che ci ha servito e accolto. Ovviamente anche il pranzo è stato allo stesso livello con piatti fatti bene e gustosi. Consiglio vivamente di provarlo. Io tornerò appena posso. ;-)

Ottimo. Atmosfera intima ma non troppo, locale molto carino. In un angolo di Trastevere super tranquillo. Abbiamo mangiato all'interno, ci sono una trentina di coperti. All'esterno c'è una veranda per l'estate dove prenoterò sicuramente. Il menù è curato, tutto di stagione e cosa per me eccellente, il menù cambia spesso. 2 antipasti, 1 primo, una spigola da 1 kilo, 1 dolce, 2 calici di vino, acqua, coperto. 80€ each. Considerato il pesce e i tagliolini al tartufo direi ottimo prezzo. La lista dei vini più che buona. I camerieri sono molto preparati e non è scontato affatto. Proprietaria accogliente. Ci torneremo. A Trastevere in un angolo romantico, difronte l'isola tiberina, un ristorante raffinato intimo accogliente, ideale per serate romantiche. Da provare il menù di degustazione, tutto buonissimo dall'antipasto al dolce impeccabile. Servizio cordiale e attento e non invadente. Conto adeguato al cibo di prima qualità. Sicuramente si può consigliare ad amici e parenti senza fare una brutta figura

Dalu’ è uno di quei ristoranti che ti fa sentire a casa. Quello che mi ha colpito e’ la cura del dettaglio e l’atmosfera magica che lo circonda. I piatti sono veramente eccezionali, e lo staff è gentile ed attento! Consiglio a tutti di cenare qui, io tornerò prestissimo!

Che dire? Posto incantevole e raffinato. Il menu é ricercato, ma si può sempre richiedere i classici romani. Ideale per chi desidera l'atmosfera trasteverina senza ritrovarsi in uno scenario turistico o banale. Siamo passati per la prima volta qualche settimana fa per un aperitivo e abbiamo ordinato un tagliere. La qualità è ottima, e quello che c'hanno portato aveva una marmellata per accompagnare i formaggi fenomenale. Contentissimi, siamo tornati oggi a pranzo e le nostre aspettative non sono state disattese. Porzioni giuste e piatti gustosi, il pane che portano per accompagnare é fatto da loro, e si sente. Alla fine del pranzo una bellissima sorpresa: insieme al caffè ci hanno portato lingue di gatto (alcune semplici, altre con granella di nocciola e pistacchio, altri con pepe rosa) e nocciole e mandorle caramellate. Il personale è molto cortese, la location tranquilla ma suggestiva, i prezzi più che commisurati alla qualità ricevuta. Da non perdere!

inanzitutto bellissima atmosfera e personale super cordiale e simpatico! zona di trastevere che nonostante sia molto centrale anche tranquillissima, piacevolissima per rilassarsi. le polpette vegetariane sono state il mio piatto preferito, originali e davvero gustose. la carbonara si sentiva molto il guanciale e il pecorino, buona! gli gnocchi con la ricotta salata e le verdurine particolari, forse per il mio palato un po’ sciapi ma meglio così che troppo salati. la crema di pistacchio assieme all’avena era molto buona, grazie che avete tolto le fragole per motivi di allergia!!! purtroppo per il mio portafoglio è un po’ caro: sarà una cosa personale perché sono ancora una studentessa, ma penso che ritornerò sicuramente:)

Restaurant DaLù was a very pleasant surprise for us. Of course, we chose it based on photos and ratings, but it exceeded our expectations. First of all, we loved the interior design of the restaurant, and the service was impeccable. The food was equally good. As we visited the day after New Year’s Eve, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dish - for a lucky year: lentils with a traditional Italian New Year’s sausage. It was a very thoughtful and generous gesture on their part. We tried carciofo alla romana once again, but unfortunately it confirmed our belief that carciofo alla giudia remains our favorite. While this version was good, it simply doesn’t have the same depth of flavor. Besides the artichoke, we also ordered an appetizer inspired by tacos, with various fillings. We have to admit that the one with duck was our favorite. For main courses, we chose two very different options: shrimp risotto and beef Wellington in a perfectly baked crust. The beef Wellington was outstanding - extremely well cooked, with a beautiful crust. Desserts were just as memorable: a beautifully executed crêpes Suzette and a reinterpreted tiramisu. This is definitely a place worth trying for either lunch or dinner when visiting Rome.

Our airbnb was right around the corner from this restaurant, and every time we walked by, the ambiance and place looked so cozy and welcoming, full until later in the evening, so we took a look at the menu and reviews on line, and booked our last night in Rome at daLu. We were so glad we did. We ordered the Ricciola alla Siciliana and a meat dish, and they were both delicious and cooked perfectly. We knew we would have to order dessert, so we order the dessert of the night and the chocolate cake with cherries. They were both amazing, and well worth the calories. With our grappa and our fennel tea, they brought out the most wonderful cookie-like dessert (yes, dessert on top of dessert, so hospitable). They were ciambelline al vino, almost like a crunchy cinnamon doughnut, and we raved so much about them that they gave us a handful to take home. We spent the rest of our time in Italy trying to find these amazing cookies, but I think that daLu has perfected their own recipe, and nothing we tried or bought came close. We will definitely be back. Thank you, da Lu for making our last night in Rome memorable with your professional and kind waitstaff and your amazing hospitality and food.

Had an amazing delicious dinner here during a business trip to Rome. We actually stumbled across it because my colleague required gluten free options and this was one of the best rated choices that came up, but it ended up being a real gem. Some of the most delicious seafood I’ve had anywhere, and our waiter was really good in explaining everything and making suggestions. My colleague didn’t miss out at all - the restaurant could make pretty much any of their pastas as gluten free which was very impressive. The atmosphere was lovely too, a quiet square with honeysuckle flowers away from the crowds of Trastevere. I’ll definitely plan to come back next time I’m in the city.

Nice place with delicious food. The waiter gave us good recommendations and explanation of the dishes. We especially love the stuffed squid and old fashioned (cocktail). I would say the whole experience feel like dining in a Michelin star restaurant.

Last night in Rome, and this was a great restaurant to end with. We didn't have a reservation but got lucky so I'd recommend booking. Lovely location quieter than the hustle and bustle of the main Travastere district, which is what we wanted. The service was excellent, not rushed, but attentive and dishes were explained on arrival. Our food was all really good and also plated really well. The seafood choices are great, but all the food looked excellent. Well recommended.

Really loved my meal here, so glad I came here during my trip. We had a full meal from beef tartare as antipasti, fish ragu pasta (seasonal menu from their fresh catch), rack of lamb and lemon tart as dessert. Everything was so good, not your typical ‘safe’ Italian dishes but really glad we came to try something different! The male waiter (didn’t get his name) was so patient with us explaining each and every dish, asking for feedback and giving recommendations. Could not thank him enough for enriching our dining experience. Based on the reviews here look like the menu changes periodically, my recommendation is go with an open mind & consider their seasonal menu/menu of the day, or ask for their recommendations!

We ordered the Manu state without the wine pairing however the waitress suggested a really nice wine that went well with the meals. The environment was great 😊 we enjoyed the playlist. We went to DALU' twice during our four nights in Rome. Located in the quieter side of Trastevere, it is a beautiful little restaurant with very attentive staff and excellent food. Our first evening, we started with the Fried anchovies. Very pleasant. I then had the Conchiglioni ai frutti di mare (Seafood pasta) which is an absolute delight (and I had again, two nights later). My partner had a very nice Cacio pepe. We finished with a roast baby octupus which was crisp and tender. When we returned two nights later, I repeated the seafood pasta and my partner had the Tagliolini with black truffle. Both very nice. For our secondi, I had the Veal tenderloin (Saltimbocca romano). Cooked more than I prefer, so not as tender as I expected. My partner had the Grilled swordfish, which she enjoyed but was also cooked more than we prefer. The joy of calibrating your tastes with local standards when you travel.

We were so lucky to have found this gem right below our apartment! From the minute we walked in, we were met with friendly smiles amidst an extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Tiziano was our server and he was great! Attentive, engaging not intrusive and he was a big help with recommendations along with sharing interesting tidbits on the food and wine we had selected. For our mains, we ordered 1 starter, 2 specials of the day and 2 signatures on the menu. 1.) Tartare di Tonno (Tuna) This dish was so light with a burst of freshness to start off the meal. 2.) Spaghetti Astice (Lobster) Lobster was fresh, juicy and tender. Lovely tomato base that highlighted the star ingredient perfectly. 3.) Tagliolini Tartufo Spot on! This was everyone’s favourite and we cleaned up every last bit. Sometimes, the simplest dish ends up being the most delicious. 4.) Polpetto Rosticciato Grilled really well and we enjoyed this dish. 5.) Baccala (Codfish) with Hummus and Chickpeas The hummus and chickpeas were great but the codfish was rather chewy. Not terrible but not great. We shared our feedback and without hesitation and a sincere, they took it off the bill. Which was not what we expected but was such a gracious and much appreciated gesture. For dessert, we ordered the following. 1.) Strawberries & Cream A classic and you can never go wrong here. 2.) Tiramisu Deconstructed with the savoiardi (ladyfingers) as a soft cream but still retaining its flavours to the fullest. 3.) After Dinner daLù’s take on the After Eight mint chocolate in a dessert which stayed through to it’s origin and did not disappoint. All in all, my family and I enjoyed ourselves very much and will be making another stop back at daLù’s before we leave Rome!

We had dinner here tonight, and loved the beautiful decor and food presentation. Among our 4 dishes, the mushroom and chestnut soup was enjoyable. The lasagna and tuna dishes were good. But the lobster pasta is disappointing, the pasta is good but the lobster is less fresh than expected, with a puree-like texture and a fishy aftertaste, not sweet at all. Overall, a mixed experience.

I never complained about a restaurant experience before. Ordered the “fish of the day” and was shocked to see 80€ on the bill - when the most expensive dish on the menu is 35€. It was 7 or 8€ per 100g. The fish was rather small and the price definitely didn’t relate to the dish. When I questioned it, the waitress apologised and quietly handed me back half the money in cash. This felt deliberately misleading, as no clear price was communicated upfront. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to take advantage of customers in this way. The lack of transparency left me feeling deceived wich completely ruined the experience. I would strongly caution others to check their bill carefully before paying!
