Pranzo prenotato con the fork, servizio eccellente, personale disponibile, gentile ma assolutamente non pressante. I piatti sono favolosi, dall'antipasto ai vari uramaki siamo rimasti estasiati. Ci è stato pure offerto il caffè. Locale molto bello, con possibilità di mangiare fuori al sole, a due passi da Piazza Navona. Assolutamente consigliato!
Un ottimo ristorante Giapponese ed asiatico in generale, NON é un all you can eat, la qualità di ciò che si mangia é molto alta. Il menu offre pietanze difficili da trovare altrove, le porzioni sono un po ridotte, d'altronde posti come questo non sono adatti a chi vuole abbuffarsi. Per una cena normale va considerata una spesa di 30€ a testa in su.

La classe del Tora Sushi Restaurant, posto proprio alle spalle di Piazza Navona, si evince da ogni piccola sfumatura, dall’estetica moderna e minimal del locale alla delicatezza della presentazione dei piatti. Il pranzo inizia con uno spettacolare tris di piatti caldi, con i gamberi fritti con Mayo piccante e pepe rosa a far la voce grossa, sia come gusto che come forza del sapore (sconsigliato ai palati delicati!). In seguito, passati al sushi, abbiamo potuto osservare e gustare l’abilità del sushiman. Assolutamente promossi a pieni voti gli uramaki, e eccellenti i Futomaki di Pistacchio, il pezzo forte di questa degustazione. (potete trovare l’elenco completo dei piatti tra le nostre storie in evidenza) Il prezzo è certamente sopra la media dei sushi alla carta della Capitale, ma perfettamente comprensibile vista la posizione centralissima e la qualità degli ingredienti, che rende Tora Sushi una perfetta scenografia per le vostre occasioni importanti. Tappa obbligata in ogni ritorno a Roma dai nostri viaggi. Locale accogliente e curato nei dettagli, elegante e arredato con cura. Personale di sala estremamente gentile e attento, sotto la supervisione precisa del direttore di sala Max, sempre pronto a prendersi cura di ogni esigenza del cliente. Cibo eccezionale, selezione delle materie prime (solo le migliori) e creatività in cucina. 5 stelle più che meritate! Il nostro posto del cuore ❤️
Locale molto carino e centrale, a due passi da Piazza Navona, perfetto per una cena giapponese senza dover uscire dal cuore di Roma. L’atmosfera è elegante ma rilassata, con luci soffuse e un arredamento moderno che richiama lo stile asiatico senza strafare. Il servizio è gentile e attento, i camerieri conoscono bene il menu e sono rapidi anche quando c’è un po’ di movimento. Abbiamo preso un mix di classici e signature rolls: • Nigiri di tonno rosso e salmone – freschissimi, taglio preciso e riso ben condito (questo è il punto forte). • Uramaki ‘Tora Special’ con tempura di gambero e avocado – croccante fuori e morbido dentro, saporito senza essere unto. • Gyoza al vapore – buoni, succosi, ma la pelle un filo spessa rispetto ad altri posti top. • Tartare di tonno con sesamo e salsa ponzu – eccellente, porzione generosa. Il pesce è di ottima qualità overall, si sente che non lesinano sulla materia prima e questo si apprezza tantissimo. Prezzi in linea con la zona (sui 35-45€ a testa con vino/cocktail), non proprio economici ma giustificati dalla location e dalla freschezza. Peccato solo per due cose: il locale può diventare rumoroso quando è pieno (eco un po’ alto) e alcuni rolls creativi sono un filo troppo ‘carichi’ di salse, che coprono un po’ il sapore del pesce. Niente di grave, ma per me un 5 stelle avrebbe richiesto un tocco in più di equilibrio e magari porzioni di sashimi ancora più generose. Complessivamente consigliato per chi vuole sushi di livello buono/alto in centro storico. Tornerò volentieri, magari prenotando un tavolo più tranquillo!

Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante tramite TheFork ed attirati dalle ottime recensioni decidiamo di prenotare. Non posso che confermare l'eccellente qualità dei piatti; si sente il "tocco giapponese" dello chef! I prezzi sono adeguati agli ingredienti freschissimi e pregevoli. Inoltre il personale e il proprietario si sono dimostrati molto cordiali, e ci ha fatto piacere scambiare anche quattro chiacchiere al termine della cena. Il locale è in una posizione ottima e centrale, vicinissimo a piazza Navona. Tappa obbligatoria ogni qualvolta che tornerò a Roma! A presto! ((se la recensione ti piace clicca sul mi piace...grazie))
Questa è stata la prima volta che andavamo al Tora Sushi e ce ne siamo innamorati subito. Il locale è davvero arredato molto bene e si trova proprio a due passi da Piazza Navona. Il suo Staff è stato davvero molto accogliente, cordiale e disponibile. Il Menù è alla Carta ed è presentato molto bene, con opzioni molto interessanti. Come antipasto abbiamo optato per Edamame e Gyoza di pollo, poi abbiamo proseguito con un Piatto di Noodles (di carne) e poi abbiamo assaggiato Sushimi di Salmone, Nigiri ed Uramaki. Tutto davvero molto buono e sfizioso. Noi abbiamo prenotato tramite l'app di "The Fork" e alla fine dal conto ci è stato tolto il 20%. Siamo davvero rimasti molto soddisfatti e ci torneremo sicuramente.
Ogni volta che torno a Roma visito questo ristorante. È un'esperienza eccezionale che mi fa scoprire nuovi accostamenti di profumi e sapori. Lo chef Koji delizia la sua clientela con la maestria e la raffinatezza della tradizione giapponese, ma aggiungendo sempre qualcosa di imprevisto che esalta il gusto dei suoi piatti. Sublime ogni aspetto, la location a pochi passi da Piazza Navona, nel cuore della città eterna, il personale di sala cortese e premuroso e il menù vario e squisito.
Ristorante giapponese di alto livello, personale educato e gentile, ambiente piacevole e arredato veramente bene, con cura e eleganza. Il Menù alla Carta presenta piatti molto interessanti della tradizione giapponese. Gli ingredienti sono freschissimi e si sente. Ho provato il Black Cod, fantastico! Il locale si trova vicinissimo a piazza Navona, quindi piacevole pure per fare due passi al centro di Roma dopo cena. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante.
L'accoglienza è stata ottima. Il cibo pure: abbiamo scoperto alcuni sapori a noi sconosciuti, della cucina giapponese. Ma qui il dubbio (attenzione, scrivo davvero senza alcuna polemica!!): il proprietario è italiano, ai tavoli personale non giapponese (anche se gentilissimi, davvero cortesi, professionali e pure simpatici).. sicuri che sia cucina giapponese? Ad ogni modo, darei un 4.9 (che supera il voto medio delle recensioni con cui abbiamo scoperto questo posto) e tornerò sicuramente e volentieri. Però occhio: il conto è mooooolto saporito.
Ho pranzato in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia e la nostra asperienza e' stata ottima. Cibo squisito, antipasti, rolls, ravioli misti, piatti thailandesi e giapponesi. Tutto cio' che abbiamo mangiato era eccellente e mi sembrava di essere tornata in oriente! Il servizio sempre attento, veloce e gentile. Siamo stati accolti e trattati benissimo. Consiglio vivamente.
Siamo venute a pranzo in questo locale, in centro, BUONISSIMO in grassetto. Personale super simpatico che ci ha offerto anche prosecco e caffè. Pesce freschissimo, salmone senza grasso e porzioni abbondanti. Consiglio di andarci il lunedì perché il pesce fresco arriva la mattina del lunedì. Ambiente carinissimo anche all interno e bagni puliti.

We have visited Rome for years and have walked by Tora too many times to count. Tonight we decided to go and have to say this is one of the best sushi restaurants we have ever experienced. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. Wonderful staff and amazing experience. Highly highly recommend. If anyone in your group doesn't eat sushi there are other items on the menu that are exceptional. The chicken gyoza and chicken katsu was delicious. 5 stars!!
Came here for Christmas Eve dinner with family, and had a fantastic time! The food is delicate and amazingly delicious! The staff are very friendly and especially with kids. Would definitely come again if visiting Rome again!
We had dinner with a prior reservation and were warmly welcomed by Donni, who was also our waiter. He was very polite, friendly, and attentive. We ordered a few sushi dishes, and everything was very good — the Godfather roll was our favorite. The only downside was the ramen noodles. They didn’t really resemble egg noodles and felt a bit low quality, although the broth itself was very rich and flavorful. I chose spice level 2, which definitely had a strong kick — great for anyone who enjoys spicy food.
The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the food was genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve had, it was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I also want to add that what truly made the night exceptional was our waiter, Donni. He was incredible from start to finish, really friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations, checked in at just the right times. His positive attitude and professionalism honestly elevated the entire meal and made me and my fiancée feel welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back here next time Im in Rome.
Coming from GUAM, finding this Tora Sushi Asian Cuisine restaurant was a Diamond in the rough after many a pasta and pizzas. Asian food is comfort food for most Guam residences. The atmosphere is quite nice and the staff were very pleasant. Especially Donnie who gave us his undivided attention. Always checking on us and being very entertaining. We had the fried rice and teriyaki salmon. It was the best. The prices were very reasonable. We had the fried rice especially when you were raised on Rice. A MUST try place when in Rome near our hotel Rhea Silva. Thank you Tora for a great experience
I highly recommend this spot if you're looking good sushi near Piazza Navona. The service is great and the fish is fresh. Donnie, Josyll, and Aiden were so welcoming and made our meal very enjoyable so much so that we returned several times throughout our stay in Rome. I really enjoyed the nigiri. I'm always worried about the quality of the fish when trying a new sushi spot. This place definitely met my expectations. Big thanks to everyone at Tora. We hope to visit again soon!
After a few days in Italy, we were really craving something different from the usual (delicious!) Italian food, and this sushi spot was exactly what we needed. The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was also incredible, everyone was so kind and attentive from start to finish. We left feeling super satisfied and already talking about coming back. If you’re in Rome and want a break from pasta and pizza, I would highly recommend this place!
Thai curry chicken is good. Pai Thai is abit sweet as ramen can be very spicy if you ordered level 2. Good for a chance from Italian food. Overall, food is good but in expensive side.
The perfect sushi spot in Rome! My husband and I came for lunch after passing the restaurant by chance, and we loved it so much we ended up coming back the following evening for dinner. The food and service were both an amazing. Our server took such great care of us and gave us so many helpful recommendations. The food was such great quality and so delicious! The sashimi was so fresh and all the rolls were a perfect blend of textures and flavours. 100/10 both times!
After a week of indulging in rich, heavy Italian food (not complaining!), Tora Sushi was a refreshing change. The service was exceptional Donny was incredibly friendly and gave us spot on food recommendations. The standout for me was the perfectly cooked miso cod, followed by the delicious banana fritter dessert!
If you’re looking for a break from classic Italian pasta and pizza, this is the place to go. Wonderful sushi, this is on par with some of the best sushi restaurants in the states. Service was more than excellent. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs without asking. Thank you for providing an excellent meal!

The owner (Max) and staff are incredibly attentive and caring. We came here because we were tired of Italian food after about a week in Italy, and we weren’t expecting much from a Roman sushi spot. My wife and I have had fantastic sushi in San Diego, LA, NYC and this spot really competes! Fresh fish flown in a couple of times every week, traditional items as well as some with an Italian twist. Highly recommend.
If you are from Seattle, WA... just know, this place is delicious. My Husband and I went here based on the reviews and it was delicious. We ordered tons of food include sake, tuna belly, yaki udon, sushi rolls and gyoza. Josyll was our server. She was kind, attentive and welcoming. We truly enjoyed every bite! We met Max afterward who checked on our experience and shared the history of the restaurant. The bathrooms were also well clean. We highly recommend it. Very good experience.

The menu here is quite diverse, ranging from Thai to Japanese cuisine. Initially, it may seem a bit odd, but the food doesn’t disappoint. The tom yum kung, despite its name, is a delightful twist on the classic Thai tom yum, featuring a medley of mixed seafood. The tori katsu is nice, with correct unique Japanese curry flavor that sets it apart from other Asian country curries. The yaki udon is a bit less flavorful, but still quite enjoyable. The service is good, with friendly. They even provide coffee and limoncelo after your meal, which is a generous gesture. If you’re in the area, this place is definitely the best choice for Asian cuisine.
Highly recommend this if you need a break from Italian food. Our waiter Donny/Donnie, gave tremendous service and advised us a lot during our time there. Food was much better than all the Italian restaurants we have been to since being in Rome for a week! The prices are generally good, I went with my husband and we are foodies so we may have overspent than usual couples would, but so worth it. Recommend all the sushi’s we got and all 3 desserts! Must try all if you’re visiting with a bigger group of friends/family. Thank you for the amazing food.
