Avis sur The Fig Tree Coffee Roseville
This cafe is a classic 90’s friends’ style place with cozy couches and overstuffed armchairs and a mismatch smattering of furniture. It is eclectic and cozy. The service is friendly and quick, the coffee and tea is great and the pastries are unbelievable. I’m not sure who is handling the crust situation at this place but do not skip it if they have any (they usually are pretty low later in the day as it seems I’m not the only person who has figured this out). We’ve had the quiche and the pot pie and were fighting like hunger games for the last bite. This is my go to place if I can get there.
Best coffee bar! I get a cappuccino and a cinnamon tart. 😋
The coffee was actually pretty good. And pastries were also nice. I wouldnt mind getting it again. But... i wouldn't sit to drink it again. The atmosphere is kinda off. I feel out of place. Unless you are one of those who likes to stand out with your unique personality and fashion. This is for you.
I love this Café! I do a Crochet Meetup here almost every week and the staff is so nice and welcoming. Every week is a new experience because this is also an Art Café so they host many different artist performing entertainment for you to join in or listen to if you want. Anything from jazz live performers, open mic, Celtic music, and open poetry night. When our group gets together we're always interested in what is going to be the fun entertainment of the night that we can listen in the background along while we crochet. Their pastries are great and their coffee even better. I love seeing the chalk art with their seasonal menu that cycles drinks throughout the year. I always spot new things whether it's kitchy souvenirs that were gifted to the shop owner/staff or new artists paintings on display for everyone to view. Such a fun vibe. I've sat in comfy chairs, sofas, tables and have been in the front of the quiet part of the café or back where their performing stage is. This environment allows you to connect to strangers in a way where you feel like you made a new friend all while we're learning new and old hobbies. I honestly have only been here for around 6ish months and wish I found it sooner! Hats off to the owner for creating a fun, inclusive, and energetic environment that many college kids and different ages can have the pleasure of joining and connecting in. Can't wait to continue making new memories as the years go by.
The Fig Tree Coffee, Art, & Music Lounge on Vernon Street in Roseville is truly a hidden gem and an amazing way to start the day. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by a warm, friendly staff that makes you feel right at home. The space itself is quiet, cozy, and full of character, with fantastic vintage art and a creative atmosphere that sets it apart from typical coffee shops. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your coffee, and really take in your surroundings. The blend of coffee, art, and music creates a relaxing and inspiring environment that keeps me coming back. Every visit has been a great experience, and it’s easily one of my favorite spots in Roseville. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something unique and inviting.
I love this coffee shop! The atmosphere is lovely, baristas are friendly, the food (I especially like when they have the hand pies) and drink are always delicious.
Such a warm and welcoming space. Great coffee, great service, and great music! They frequently have live music performed by local artists and open mic nights! Relaxing vibe and board games to play while you enjoy your coffee! This is my favorite coffee shop in Roseville!
Great coffee shop for not only the vibes but the drinks! Consistently yummy and delicious, which can be hard to find in any business :) baristas are very kind as well! Support local coffee shops 💚
What a lovely place! Amazing coffee! Wonderful vibe! Get something familiar or try something new! Seasonal coffees are always on point. Indoor and outdoor seating is nice, and make sure to plan a short walk as you'll most likely be parked down the street and around the corner. But that's the whole point! Go on a walking coffee date!!!
The Fig Tree is a downtown Roseville staple! I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it’s always had great vibes, live music, and the perfect space for studying or hanging out. The drinks are top notch (London Fog is my favorite), and I even got to perform at their open mic. Truly one of the best spots in the community! 🌺 Love The Fig Tree! Excited to be performing there this Thursday, Oct 16 from 7–8 PM as The Ukulele Whisperer. Come enjoy some new songs and originals! 🎶💛
The staff is always friendly and service is excellent. I’m a coffee drinker and they make a consistently outstanding vanilla latte. Relaxing atmosphere with tables in the front area, and couches, chairs, and more tables toward the back. Lots of room to read, study, visit. Not loud and crazy. Very chill. I love it.
Went there for open mic night and loved the vibe. It was cozy and everyone performing was vulnerable and the audience was accepting and appreciative. The drinks and snacks were yummy too. This place has all the positives of a small business: a comfortable atmosphere, great customer service, and quality products and events. Highly recommend!
Coffee and pastries were great! The employee serving us said 90% of baked goods are made in house, and they had a plethora of savory options as well as sweet. The atmosphere is very homey, very quirky. A mix of a little bit of everything so many different types of folks in there I really liked that. Service was very friendly and they offer a lot of non-disposable options which I like this well. Definitely would come back check them out
Oh my!! I usually head to the downtown area when heading to coffee shops but I’m so happy I decided different this day! I heard someone say “the appeal of the coffee shop isn’t really about the coffee itself but the ability to drink coffee in a living room away from your living room.” And that quote undoubtedly fit this coffee shop. I loved it the moment I got out of my car and saw the coffee arrow next to the outside dining area. As always, I got a large matcha with whole milk and a splash of vanilla. So incredibly good in my opinion. I appreciate a matcha that is not watery, extremely creamy and has the right pinch of sweetness. Aside from the matcha itself the ambience was so “homey” this will definitely be one of my staple coffee shops when I can make it out to old Roseville. Thank you! Fig tree & Coffee
First time experience, and it was not disappointing. I ordered small white mocha, and it was delicious, not too sweet, and the coffee was brewed just right, not burned. They had gluten-free pasties. I tried lemon cheesecake, and it was delicious. I ordered a cinnamon fig mini pie that was made fresh. All pastries are made fresh in the am. They have live music, poetry, and other entertainment on different days. Very calm setting. Animals welcome. Great place to relax and enjoy your own company or the company of others.
This was a delightful place to find, I enjoy local spots with lots of character and variety of style - and this one definitely qualifies. First off the coffee was very good, I got a pour-over and it was a very nice brew. Finding the right place to sit was a different question, because there were so many different corners and all of them felt welcoming. The walls were covered with eclectic art and I enjoyed exploring and checking it all out. There is an area for music playing in the evening, I'm hoping to come back here someday so I can enjoy that as well. I should also mention that this place has nice outdoor seating as well, in its own little area by the main downtown Vernon Street of Roseville. There are many interesting shops along the street and places to visit. The staff were friendly and were interesting to interact with.
Super fun new location and outstanding coffee! A Roseville staple! If you live in Roseville this is a must try, I guarantee it will be your favorite. Nice staff, a lot of space and sometimes has music and open late!! Nice comfy space and coffee prices are great. Great place to meet friends or business meet up coffee!
Cool place but WHOA... $7.80 for a small latte in my own cup! It was tasty, but I'm just not an 8 dollar coffee guy. Hits all the marks if you don't mind the $.
The latte I had was not very good. The coffee tasted really burnt and bitter. But the pepperoni pizza pie was delicious. And the atmosphere was really nice. Quiet, warm, peaceful. The service was very friendly. I would come back and try a few of the other items. What I didn’t like was that there was no toaster. I usually like my pastries toasted.
Very nice old-fashioned style place. It’s more for connecting and chatting. There is a variety of great drinks also. Not that much pastry. The price is average, $6 for a coffee. Country style music. Greens and woods. There is also love music some days a a certain time. Check the website for information
