Great food, generally good service. The chicken parm and toasted ravioli are great!
The food was as expected, although it was take out, the place looked really clean and well organized. I also ordered via DoorDash and the food was consistent as my take out order, the followed through with my requested modifications. I’ll be sure to stop by to dine in when I’m back in town.
Walked in for Dinner. The Atmosphere is Very Comfortable and Relaxing. The Service is Amazing. And The Food is Delicious! Melissa, Taylor, Sue, Jason, Junior, and the Rest of the Family Are Very, ~ Friendly & Respectful
Surprisingly great. Service was fantastic, they were super accommodating for our little children. Food was great, free bread was delicious. Lots of TVs around bar area with football and keno. No complaints!
This was such a wonderful place. If you want to have some really delicious pasta (and a variety to choose from) this is the restaurant to come to. The complimentary entries from the chef and a very casual funny waitress made the visit that much more enjoyable. Desserts are an additional thank you from all of us. We ordered four different kinds and liked them all. The prices are OK. If you want to enjoy your food, time together and the atmosphere - this is the place.
My wife and I were in town for my uncles funeral. We stopped for dinner and we were treated like we were regulars. Food was delicious (fried ravioli & Chicken parm). Our waiter was the best. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and service was great!! I had the chicken parm & eggplant parm with toasted Ravioli. So good!
The toasted ravioli and pistachio cream cannolis were the highlight for me. Everything we had was delicious!
The food was great the service was wonderful. I would recommend that if you're in this part of Boston that you visit.
Mussels with white wine and garlicky 'sea au jus' served w/homemade scali bread. Small is $5 and large is $10. Suculicious!!
This was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress was great! very attentive but not always at the table. The food came out piping hot and was delicious. Their marinara sauce is amazing, a little spicy with lots of flavor. The apple mule was yummy as well. I had a pasta dish with shrip, lobster, and scallops. There could have been more meat but 🤷🏾♀️ i still enjoyed. Portions are good. The only thing we didn't like was the stuffed mushrooms
We were part of a large group on Veterans day. The staff was so kind and the food was great. The bar area is spacious and the bathrooms are clean and I always appreciate that when dining out.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice lunch there today. We had the stuffed mushrooms (delightful), and two different chicken dishes. Everything was excellent... My wife enjoyed her margarita, I had a hard cider. We were seated quickly, service was fast and efficient. A touch pricey, but you are clearly getting what you paid for... We will done here again if we are in the area. 👍
We always have a big party every weekend with 11 people. Jason and Tabitha are the best servers there!! Very attentive and kind. The only servers we will ask for every time we go!
My first time dinning at The Chateau Restaurant with a family member who's dine there before & mentioned how good the food & service is. I must say, the family member was absolutely right. The guy who seated us was very nice! Our server was prompt & so delightful! Had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken/shrimp (My favorite!) & it was so delicious! Great, comfortable atmosphere! We look forward to going back in the near future.
Always good food and friendly service. It's a great old-school family restaurant with big portions. Def recommend
Some tips to make this a great experience, for a family with some young children who begrudgingly went to IKEA and needed some actual food about two hours prior. Staff here is awesome, and the play is to arrive mid week a tad late (but obviously, not late enough to keep em open past closing). Great people, pretty good food, and if they have the time to get to know you (even superficially) it's going to be a good night (regardless of what ya ordered).
The food was delicious. Try the lobster Diablo and also the seafood platter. Delicious! Glad we made the trip just to try it out. Many options even gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian.
Really good food. The service was excellent I did t wait long for anything. My server Kristen was amazing. Great place would come back and would recommend. Bot pricey but you absolutely get what you pay for
Lunch was very good I had the turkey dinner . It was real turkey, came with all the fixings.
It was awesome. Family of six decided to eat out and we made our way there. Our waiter was amazing ( I'm terrible with names) but he was very versed in the menu options and was able to give us tips and ideas based on our taste. Would definitely recommend.
We planned an 80th birthday dinner for my mother at another restaurant which said wouldnt be a problem. Well they couldn't accommodate us. We called Chateau (which was our first choice to begin with)they took our party of 15 people last minute. Gave us our own room. Service and food were impeccable. Thank you for everything. P.S. The Maple bacon wrapped scallops were the Best.
Nice relaxed restaurant atmosphere, the staff were attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
Interior needs a makeover and the food was good. Loved the broiled scallops, bread was cold, baked potato over cooked & hard and considering the lack of patrons, the service should have been faster. Yet, the waitress was attentive.
Always have loved them my meatball sandwich was to die for. Sad they removed the Spumoni from the menu. Our server Jason was a rockstar at making everything okay.
Great customer service, food is very tasty..
Generally a fine old fadhioned family resteraunt . Healthy food and very good service. They did a fantastic job for a family gathering after a funeral.
The menu is basic, but done reasonably well. A little pricey for the quality. Garlic bread was rather dry, sadly. Fish and chips were excellent. Portion size almost compensates for price. Son enjoyed his burger, had trouble finishing it, which is uncommon and a delight to see. Wife very much enjoyed the Italian Wedding Soup. Ceiling tiles show dire need of replacement, but otherwise clean and looks good from the customer view. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was very quiet.
One of our go-to places! The staff is so nice, friendly & accommodating. When dining there tonight, my salad was fantastic (once I got it the way I ordered it) and my main dish was just okay. They seem to have troubles with even heat on their food, more often than not, there is something that is cold. BUT, the service, staff and atmosphere and knowing what to order keeps us coming back!
The food was okay not that great Overpriced Service was okay Could have been more attended
We had a funeral reception here, it's not possible to do a proper review. It was clean, up to date with a well stocked bar. The food was typical lunch banquet but the dessert was fantastic. A wonderful selection of little treats. Very nice staff.
It's decent! Went with my parents for lunch! I had the Italian trio combo #4 which had chicken parm, toasted ravioli and a meatball. Food came out for us in a timely manner and our waitress (I believe her name was Kathy) was very nice! My trio was hot and covered in marinara sauce, which is exactly how I like my Italian meals done! The more sauce, the better! My parents generally liked what they had too, only thing is my mom said she would've wanted her meatball sandwich to have been warmer. While everything was pretty good, the bill took a bit to come to the table but no biggie. Will I go back, YES! Is it the BEST Italian restaurant around? NO but it is decent and the prices for meals are cheaper at lunch time, so if you are trying to save money, visit the chateau for lunch, NOT dinner!
We went on a Saturday afternoon, the parking lot appeared busy, but once we went in the restaurant, it was completely empty, except for one large party. Then another large party came in to the function room! One bartender on duty and only a few wait staff! The bar was swarmed with everyone looking for drinks! The bartender kept her cool, management and another staff member stepped up and they got it done! Impressive 😮👍👍🙌 Now the food is just okay, drinks were better and service was great. Definitely a nice spot to hang out grab lunch and have some drinks! A small step up from The Olive Garden!😊
Nice quiet place for a slow Italian dinner. Really large facility with private rooms and a bar area.
Fish&chips was fresh and hot. But not flavorful. Server was very nice. The bathroom was very clean.
I ate the meal, but I didn't enjoy it. I ordered hot tea, and it was barely warmer than tepid. It's never worth it to ask for hotter water. Servers usually just bring the same temperature of water again. Also, there weren't enough tea bags for the amount of water in the teapot. I just made do. My meatball parm was not even warm when it was served. It was room temperature, even in the center of the meatballs. The cheese had already solidified! The service was slow, so I was surprised to get cold food after waiting so long. I just ate it. I didn't want another long wait. To be fair, the preferred texture of meatballs is subjective. I like a little crisp on the outside. The Chateau's meatballs are very smooth. These were a little mushy for me. The sauce was perfect as usual, and the fries were good. The fries were warm enough, but nothing else was. The apple cake isn't made by the Chateau, but I found it to be much too sweet. I could not eat much of it.
Disappointed in the food. We each got trio meals. The meatball was good but the chicken parm was dry and eggplant parm was rubbery. Both seemed like they were either Frozen or had been cooked ahead of time and sat out too long. The food came very quickly, not enough time for it to have been prepared to order. Have had much better food at other Chateaus the server was pleasant and service was efficient.
How can you be a Italian restaurant with no hot espresso or cheesecake are you kidding me never going back it's a shame to Italian heritage without that.
The steak tips were divine, but the chicken alfredo pasta was something that should have NEVER been brought to our table. This place on New Year's has the worst staff and cooks and shouldn't even be open. Furthermore, they weren't even busy. So why be open. Quite sad.
Booths, tables and carpet were not very clean. The food was ok and the service was fair. The entire place is very dated. The Chateau in Braintree is much better across the board in my opinion.
Service was great. Atmosphere was fine. Food was very disappointing. Toasted ravioli appetizer was just ok. Shrimp primavera entree sauce was spicy but otherwise was flavorless. Cheesecake special had little flavor and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while with the whipped cream and strawberry topping already on it. Overall, disappointing and would not go back.
We ordered take out the piece of lasagna i ordered was the worst i ever had the top layer you couldn’t cut with a knife it was as hard as a brick i took a video so you could see this happened to me once before and when i called chateau they said bring it back but i didn’t want go all the way back so i threw it out assuming it was a fluke . But lo a nd behold here we are in the same situation . It is frigid out under 10 degrees so im not going back out im afraid i wont be ordering from you again it is with sadness that i say this as ive been eating at chateau since you opened years ago i have heard from others that your food is going downhill .im afraid you need to improve things as you’ll be outta business people aren’t going to put up with this. Thank you for listening ps i fed the rest to my dog
Individual pizza and small pizza same size small is cut in 6 slices individual is cut in 4 slices they charge you more for one more cut. Service took forever forgot my wife’s drink and salad. Picture is small pizza and individual pizza next to each other don’t waste ya money on a small!!!
Nope not a fan. I ordered a create your own combo thinking Chicken Parmesan with another item included pasta. It did not. The toasted ravioli had a solid cheese inside. It was not even melted. It came with meat sauce which I was unaware of. The Chicken Parmesan is one of the worst I’ve ever had. The little sauce it did have just tasted like tomato purée. Forget the garlic parmesan bread because it’s just a big thick piece of sesame bread with cheese. You need to provide sauce with that. Overall I’m just glad I had leftover pizza after throwing this meal away.
Takeout is not great. Order sausage and EXTRA sausage at that and didn’t receive 1 sausage when I opened up the food. 23.49 for pasta and sauce… amazing
The place was closed super early sign at the door said they close at 9 but at 630 the doors where locked waiter on the inside said they are closed this happens way too pfetn
I went with my family to have dinner 12/23/2023 at the Chateau location in Stoughton, we had to wait a bit to get our food and by the time we got it, it was very cold, we didn't make a fuss we just had our meal and then asked for the bill, the waitress wasn't that friendly but we did see that the restaurant was a bit crowded and she had quite a few tables that she had to attend to so I guess that is understandable that she was having a very busy night, we got our bill paid and then tip the waitress using cash. Upon checking bank statement realized that the restaurant charged an extra $20 on the total? I found this to be very dishonest as we have already tipped the waitress using cash but was still charged and extra $20 on the bill. Am not sure if I would go back to this location, it is just not worth the disappointment, never had this type of experience with Chateau Norwood location.
Came in to enjoy some food on august 1st and was absolutely blown away on on poor my service was . Over heard the older lady talking to the girl at the entrance about being with my "sugar daddy" when he was actually my grandfather felt very disrespected when I called to speak to the manager about the incident they said her name was Taylor .. she apparently couldn't be bothered and hung up on me. Worse experience ever . Will never be back. Stop judging people
Order bacon wrapped scallops, which the bacon was burnt and the scallops tasted like it was previously frozen.. stuffed shrimp which with rice that the waitress said had cilantro which actually had spinach and im highly allergic too ... also ordered the meatballs with ricotta and everything was absolutely disgusting.. down to the stale sliced bread that they gave us . Even my Blueberry lemonade cocktail was watered down. Felt like we were in the twilight zone. The salad was then only decent thing ... .... until we found a long hair in it. What a waste of time and money
Had a bereavement lunch for my dad and the food was absolutely horrible. Chicken marsala tasted like canned chicken and canned mushrooms. The lasagna tasted like stouffers frozen lasagna half the potatoes were cooked all the way and the penne and broccoli was over cooked. All the crap food was $1000 what a racket they got going here 🤣 🤣 🤣
