I've been wanting to have lunch at Taverna Val Trebbia with my partner and daughter for a while, especially intrigued by the videos I follow on the Facebook page. The staff is young, polite, and very professional, and the place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, far from the chaos of the city. We ordered a very delicious charcuterie board, but the real highlight was the ravioli, which were simply fantastic, especially the ones for dessert. The price was in line with the quantity and quality of the products and the service offered. A special mention goes to the honesty of not charging my 5-year-old daughter a cover charge, who only "peeled" (tasted) our dishes. We'll definitely be back!

We wanted to take some meat and cheese with us for takeaway. Even though it was a bit of an unusual request, the staff went out of their way to help us. They were incredibly kind and did their absolute best to prepare something delicious for us. Everything was well packed, practical and easy to take with us, and the food was of great quality. We were very happy with the service and truly grateful for their help!

After a day spent tearing through the Trebbia Valley on my motorcycle, what better reward than a stop at Taverna Val Trebbia? This place, discovered thanks to Instagram, turned out to be a real gem. It's a bit out of the way and surrounded by greenery, but despite its "hidden" location, it was almost fully booked! Luckily, the waiters were incredibly kind and helpful, quickly finding us a table inside. Today's weather was perfect, nice and cool, so sitting inside was still a pleasure, although next time I hope to enjoy the outside. This place's reputation for its renowned ravioli is well-deserved. They offer so many different types, making choosing a dish a daunting task! After a delicious slice of savory pie with grilled vegetables, my friend and I delved into the world of ravioli. I chose the "Antica Val Trebbia" and I have to say: excellent! The "tucco" sauce (and not the usual melted butter) enhanced the spinach puff pastry with a filling of rice, sausage, and chard. A true delight for the palate. Another highlight is the QR code payment system with Apple Pay, so convenient and modern! It allowed us to avoid endless lines at the checkout, a real plus. Next time, though, I already have a clear idea: I have to try the "Del Biker" ravioli. After all, we are bikers, and tradition must be respected! If you're on a motorcycle (or even by car) and find yourself in the Trebbia Valley, Taverna Val Trebbia is a must-see for those seeking authentic flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. Ready to give it a try too?

Overall, a truly excellent experience: the atmosphere was designed for total relaxation, surrounded by greenery. The ravioli were as delicious as they're known for. The service was efficient and pleasant, and the wait staff were attentive and friendly without ever being overbearing. We especially thank Gabry, who looked after us the entire time, offering advice and demonstrating his utmost professionalism. We'll definitely be back to repeat the experience and try other specialties.

A restaurant and pizzeria immersed in peaceful greenery. The ravioli are excellent (the wild boar ravioli with porcini mushrooms are superb, but the fried ones are also truly delicious), as are the main courses (I highly recommend the beef stew al tocco), and the desserts are truly mouthwatering. The owners are incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly (we even chatted a bit), and my compliments, of course, go to the chef. Ultimately, what can I say? A beautiful corner of the Trebbia Valley, dedicated to good food. Highly recommended.

It's primarily a place for those who love to experiment. We were two couples for lunch, not at all experienced but definitely great eaters. We immediately went for "Ravioli fino puoi." It's 15, 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶!, servings of ravioli of every type, topped with excellent ingredients! Amazing! We did a quick count, and it was a matter of getting to the end (if you can) having tasted at least a hundred ravioli each: an epic but highly enjoyable undertaking. The ravioli range from the most classic to those revisited with great imagination and skill, mainly in creating an interesting combination of pasta, filling, and sauce. The top-quality ingredients enhance the flavor of each dish. The waiting times between each course are perfect, allowing diners to recover from the previous course. However, getting to the end isn't for everyone. A very interesting experience, the staff was very kind and knowledgeable, even describing the specialties of each course. The price was definitely reasonable. We left very satisfied after dining for over two and a half hours.

Easily one of the most welcoming places around. Amazing food, very friendly staff. Location is a long way from Genoa but don't let that give up on your visit! It's realtively easy to get to even if you're going by public transport! Coming here is so very worth it. Will bring family next time around!!!

Second visit proved the first visits excellent lunch was not just a one time luck. First dish, Risotto Fungi, very flvourful and cooked perfect. Followed by Chingale (wild boar) that was hands down the best wild boar dish I’ve had since moving to Italy 4 years ago. Wood panel walls and wood burning stoves add a very cozy Alpine feeling to this hidden gem. They make their own tortellini that you can also buy to take home. Origional and regional/local ingredients makes these delicacies a special treat, at the restaurant or at home. Highly recommended

The food is absolutely great! Real Italian food. I ordered the pasta and the huge pizza, after a day of heavy cycling in the Trebbia Valley. It's a nice restaurant, with very friendly staff, and a great setting. I loved the food so much that any future trip along the SS45 will definitely include a meal at La Taverna!

Location molto carina! Il locale all’interno sembra una baita Montana e fuori ha un ampio spazio con tavoli in mezzo alla vallata. Servizio eccellente, sono anche passati tra i tavoli per chiedere come stesse procedendo. La prenotazione avviene in maniera digitale è sempre alla stessa maniera si possono riceve coupon per degli sconti che non fanno mai male. Il cibo però non mi ha convinto, i ravioli ZENA non hanno un vero carattere nonostante il sugo, il ripieno ed i pinoli. Inoltre passando per andare alla toilette ho notato che alcuni ravioli venivano tirati fuori da un sacchetto gelo motivo per cui potevano essere un po’ attaccati l’un l’altro. Il cinghiale con i porcini un po’ troppo speziato ma i porcini una vera delizia! Birra artigianale in vetro molto buona. Conto un po’ caro se si pensa anche che per arrivarci c’è un bel po di strada però potrebbe essere lo stesso motivo del perché i prezzi non sono economici.

Cibo chiaramente genuino cucinato con maestria. Ambiente in legno, che si sposa con l'ambiente esterno. Locale accessibile a disabili ma non accessibili i servizi igienici. In quanto locali pubblici dovrebbero indicare questo importante particolare

Nice food, friendly staff, I had procini and ravioli, really good though I hope I didn't offend them by drowning it in olive oil, that's just what I enjoy, the pana cotta with caramel was really good too, followed by espresso and grappa 😋

Excellent food quality, small portions compared to what you might expect from a classic inland restaurant, price too high despite everything being of high quality... €83 for 1 portion of fried mushrooms, 2 portions of ravioli (max 10 ravioli per plate, the ravioli in the attached photo cost €18... absurd), a second course, 1 dessert and 2 (burnt) coffees to finish.
