My sisters are HUGE boba lovers, therefore I’ve tried a lot of different teas out there (they get milk tea anywhere between 4-7 days a week). We always gauge the quality of a boba shop based on how well they make their milk tea and boba. Let me tell you, TENJU IS ONE OF THE BEST EVER!!!! We love it so much that they catered my bridal shower and all of my friends loved it as well. We decided to cater the jugs from Tenju, which was perfect for our group. They also cater weddings and other events! Reach out to Peggy for details! Their boba is made fresh and chewy. It’s not too sweet. The milk tea is fresh and their green tea is one of the best. The other drinks that we recommend are: Monks Blend and Sea Foam Green Tea. You can’t go wrong with any of these. Tenju is always adding new drinks to their menu, which is amazing. I just love supporting tenju whenever I get a chance. My only request is that they open another location in San Gabriel 😆I

My boyfriend and I went here post-hotpot to get something refreshing and we were pleasantly surprised by how wide their selection of drinks were. Along with their selections is their customizability - the kiosk makes it so easy to cater to your taste! Loved their yogurt and green tea drink (5/5), it was very light and had a slight tartness at the end. We also tried their royal chrysanthemum tea (4/5) with boba. Love their boba, it’s perfectly chewy and not too sweet! They also sell their teas in looseleaf form as well as some tea brewing accessories. We loved the energy of whoever was making the drinks tonight! Very helpful and greeted us so warmly. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back to try their other drinks and their menu!

High-quality drinks made from premium ingredients. The tea is freshly brewed, so it may take a couple more minutes for your drink. Upon reading other reviews, I decided to try out Cream Topped Jasmine Green Tea with Boba with honey as the sugar substitute. Drink was very tasty and refreshing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating when it came to adjusting drinks. Great place and highly recommend.

The best best best best best boba place in California - bar NONE! My personal fave is Cream Top Houjicha with Boba. 50% sugar. No Ice. Thank me later.

Tenju! Should I give them a TEN-ju? 😆 ok bad joke but they did kick ass at this Café. Two lovely ladies attended to my order and I couldn’t be happier. I was craving a hot tea in this chilly December evening and the barista recommended the Heaven Mist （天常蛋）I hope I got the Chinese right haha. Either way, it was a lemony/hibiscus type of tea which was very soothing and went well with my study sesh. I think what I love most about this place (among many things) is that it’s very quaint and they’ve got a great selection of both healthy and sweet teas. I’d come here if you’re looking for a quick spot to focus on work, chat with a friend, and even a casual date (optional) to get to know someone. I’ll give this place a 10-ju out of 10 👌

A bit of a hole in the wall type of location, but it is definitely one of our favorites. Drinks taste amazing every time, prices are also reasonable. LA has a LOT of boba places, this place and Omomo are our go to locations.

Tenju Tea House has solid tea. A plus is they offer loyalty stamp cards! I think the 10th drink is free. There is a kiosk if you want to pay by card/tap, but you can order with the cashier too. I thought they used to be in the 99 Ranch plaza, but I guess they moved here behind Yoshinoya. The parking lot is more tight and annoying to find parking here. I wanted to mention that I was in communication with Peggy about catering. She showed passion and attention to detail. We ended up not booking them, but she left such an impression that I have to share it! Go hire Tenju! -no bathroom (the one inside the nearby market is NASTY though) -unsure about wifi -Apple Pay accepted -no outdoor seating -parking lot but it sux

Got the jasmine oolong milk tea which in general has a strong scent and noticeable flavor, but this was very watered down with barely any scent, which then contrasted greatly to the quite sweet honey boba. Perhaps it was an off day.

Originally wants to try iron goddes milk tea, but they dont have it. Then ordered the Hojicha milk tea with boba. The cashier was really nice, she told me it would be 5 minutes. As my first time here. But i waited for 30 minutes for 1 drink. The waiting was way too long. And i have baby waiting for me in the car with my other kids. And both my kids was crying cause i was missing for 30 minutes lol. I meant the cashier could tell me this place wont get the drink ready in 5 minutes. If it take a while just kindly let me know, but dont tell me 5 minutes. Thats when i went on yelp and google found out their waiting time will be long for each drink since they fresh brew it. Good thing the drink that i got was soo soo good. And their boba also incredibly good. The quality of the drink was very good. I love the drink and their boba. I also got the popcorn chicken for my son, and he likes it no complaint. This place can be hard to find parking spot on the weekend.

I ordered a Jasmine milk tea and it literally tasted like water + milk - it had zero tea flavor. It was sooo gross. Worst yet, I waited ten minutes for the drink when there was literally no one in line in front or behind me. They also charge $0.35 for credit card use. First, that’s illegal (minimum charge is okay, but not a credit card fee). Second, just build it in to your cost!
