Amazing beer selection, staff and service. One of my favorite places to go for a drink in town.

Visiting from out of town and loved the large variety of local beer. Quiet place with friendly people during the day on the weekend.

What a lovely neighborhood drinking establishment! Lots of variety on tap, plus two kinds of my favorite kriek bier - I was very happy indeed. Attentive, knowledgeable bartender. I'd come here often if I lived in the city!

Was looking for a bar and bottle shop and found it! Have taps/bar on one side and coolers of cans on the other—can grab a can/pint and hang out with friends! They also had 4 different gluten free beers (GF) on hand to try from Ghostfish, Ground Breaker and Buck Wild. Also had some good merch on sale. Hung out for a few hours and had a blast!

Best spot for a beer in the Sacramento area by far. The locals as well as the staff are very welcoming. One of the better tap lists around and plenty of beer to go. A must stop if a hop head in the area.

Oh my , nothing but having a cold beer! Make a choice. Food all around but just beer here. Enjoy!!

Capital Tap room is a gem nestled in a nondescript strip mall near downtown Sac. Inside you’ll find a good selection of craft beers for sale as well as 20 drafts for on-site consumption. I was lucky enough to be able to grab Pliny the Elder when I visited, however, your mileage may vary. For cider lovers, this may not be your cup of tea although they did have one cider on draft as well as a few varieties in their bottle shop. One thing important to note, they do not have food available aside from some beer snacks for purchase. The good news is that they’re totally open to one bringing their own food in. Cheers and have fun, this is a great place!

Best tap room in Sac. Happy hour all day Sunday. Staff know their beer. Great bottle selection too for on site or to-go. Parking suqs so ride a bike. Order food from adjacent restaurants eat it in the tap room. Don't be a Jabronie. If you have to ask, you might be one.

Great place to grab a craft brew on the patio with some free pretzels. Even though they don't serve food outside food is welcome. There are plenty of restaurants around cap rap to grab take out from.

Came in randomly for a quick beer while visiting family nearby and ended up staying for hours. Amazing selection, great staff and friendly crowd, definitely coming back next time I'm in town

Nice relaxed place to stop for a beer. They always have something new on one or all of their 20 taps. Plus the other half of the place is a bottle shop where you can find limit release barrel aged beers, single cans and 4pks of your favorite IPAs. The staff is all very cool and knowledgeable. I'm hoping they bring back more beer events. Prior to the COVID Shutdowns, this was the place to be for beer events.

Tell your beer I said hi. Plenty of beer choices for everyone (old enough that is). Enough dark side choices for me to return and try more later because I want more out of life than IPAs. But they also have plenty of IPAs for you.

It was light and not harshly bitter, for those of you who are Novice beer drinkers like myself. The tender did allow me to try a small taste to see if I liked it, which I did!! There's 3 tv spread throughout the bar btw.. I'll be back 😎 Cheers 🍻
