Melt in your mouth hamachi and toro items and “hands down” the best uni/oyster combo I’ve ever had. Meal presentation is like artwork. Service is friendly and efficient. Located in a tiny strip mall with challenging parking, but it’s worth the hassle.

Come here regularly and its always good. Happy Hour is a great deal! Discovered the "Fish and Chips" pictured above! Soo delicious!

Wow what a great restaurant!! Many great things to choose from. So fresh! The ramen is absolutely amazing! Their miso soup is the best I've ever had. Everyone in my party was very happy with the quality of the food and service. The service is spot on, so attentive!

I recently discovered this place and I love it. Something about the vibe is perfect, feels authentic, and the food and service are both excellent. If you are coming with a group probably expect a wait (on weekends). But I recommend sitting at the sushi bar! A lot of the sushi places I’ve tried in the area are kinda meh, but this one gets it just right. Non sushi plates are wonderful as well. I ordered so much salmon nigiri last time that the sushi chef made me this plate of miniature salmon nigiri when I told him I was full 🤣. So sweet and personable. Definitely recommend.

Dropped in randomly after a grocery run. I was gifted a gift card here over a year ago and finally saw it passing by in Freeport. Very welcoming and friendly staff, very clean restaurant as well. It was lunch when we dropped in so me and my son ended up ordering the lunch bento boxes. I ordered chicken teriyaki and salmon shioyaki Bento. It came with California roll salad, rice, an orange, daikon and miso soup. My kiddo ordered the same in the kids version. SO MUCH YUMMY FOOD! I was pleasantly surprised at how much food we received in the lunch portion and the food was delicious. Fantastic prices as well. They were also very kind to gift us with a holiday blanket. So glad I received a gift card here and I’m looking forward to returning to try all the other things on their menu. ごちそうさまでした

Excellent lunch spot for anyone who enjoys quality sushi and other Japanese food. I had a nabeyaki udon plus uni sushi and hamachi sushi (sea urchin and yellowtail). Both nigiri were fresh and tasty and presented beautifully. I was too hungry to take any photos. I couldn’t finish my udon so I brought it home. Our waitress packed in a sturdy reusable plastic container which made transporting it home very secure and convenient. Definitely reusing the container for leftover Thanksgiving food this week. Thank you, Sushi Cafe!!!

Sushi was fresh and had great portions. The wait time was less than 10 minutes. Odd chefs special, but satisfying if you like temporah batter and deep fried spicy tuna. The inside was very presentable with clean tables, modern art in the walls, fresh smells from the sushi, and clean up kept bathrooms (2 available). There's parking right outside. The prices were reasonable and the happy hour prices were NICE. 9$ for a good plate of beef short ribs, 7$ for a 8piece rainbow roll with thick pieces of fish. Calamari was crispy and spicy. Great experience! It was under 60$ for all of that plus 3 more full rolls.

Fills up quick ! Great fish for excellent price. Try the pepperfin appetizer with their sake flight and you won't be disappointed. Clean restaurant and attentive staff. Buy the chef a round ! Once again the quality of fish here is amazing ... Hamachi Kama is worth the wait ! Perfect for date nights.
