Sitio totalmente recomendable. Para repetir.
EXCELLENT! A family-run restaurant in the area. From the moment I called, they were incredibly friendly and made it easy for us to make a reservation. The service was excellent and very welcoming. The food was exquisite. We tried the breaded baby squid as a starter, followed by a soupy red prawn rice dish—both delicious! Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.
Going to Puerto de Sagunto means going to dinner and lunch at Tasca Bacco Restaurant. They make you feel at home, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The lobster stew, the goat cheese roll, the croquettes, the fried fish, the clochinas—there's nothing that isn't delicious. It's always a pleasure to return.
Great service, you can tell the staff are happy. The calamari was a 10/10; you really can't find good calamari anywhere else, but you can here. The potato salad was delicious, the vegetable paella was very good, the paella with seafood was also good, but the vegetable paella was better. The seafood salad was okay. The Russian salad and croquettes were also good.
We went a couple of times for the set menu because, considering its proximity to the beach, it's reasonably priced and you're guaranteed good food. One day the service was super fast, the other not so much. The portions were acceptable, verging on small. The paellas were delicious, and it's usually packed, so it's best to make a reservation. As is typical with most places, they only give you one ice cube, and your drinks are lukewarm. When I return to Sagunto, it will definitely be one of the places I go back to for lunch.
Lunch with my parents. We'd read it was a must-visit if you were spending the day in Sagunto, and we tried it. Starters: Patatas muy bravas (very spicy potatoes), ham croquettes with aioli, and cod fritters with a new recipe. The patatas aren't as bravas, but with a very good sauce, delicious croquettes, and incredible fritters. The "arroz del senyoret" (a traditional rice dish) for two was very tasty, and the oxtail was a 10-point dish, which instead of being for one person, seemed like it was for two. For dessert, there was cheesecake with strawberry jam and a special cheesecake. Both were delicious, although the second was a special. Prices weren't excessive. There is a set menu option, but it doesn't include a drink, and includes dessert or coffee. Therefore, I recommend ordering whatever tapas and any rice dish you'd like, as they're specialists. A very inviting area, just a few meters from the beach. If I pass through the area again, I will definitely come back and try new dishes.
We went with some friends for dinner, and it was fantastic. From the food (I recommend the octopus and toast) to the owners, who were attentive to our every request. The service was very fast (in fact, we had seconds of toast) and the price was more than reasonable. A place we'll return to.
Great food and service
I was lucky enough to visit this restaurant and was very pleasantly surprised. Despite being a small place, its welcoming atmosphere and spacious covered terrace make it an ideal spot to enjoy a good meal any time of year. The staff were perfectly coordinated and provided exceptional service, attending to every diner with kindness and professionalism. Now, let's talk about the food. This restaurant offers excellent value for money, with delicious and generously sized tapas. Of all the options we tried, I would especially recommend the scrambled eggs, the tellinas (wedge clams), and the spicy chicken taco, which was a daily special that we absolutely loved. The menu is impressively varied, and I was left wanting to try more dishes. In conclusion, if you're looking for a place to enjoy excellent food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly and professional staff, this restaurant is a highly recommended option. I will definitely return to continue exploring its diverse culinary offerings.
Family friendly, accommodated party of 4 without reservations in the main dining on a Saturday night. Sampled patatas bravas, ham croquetas, bocco burger, pulpo a la plancha (grilled Octupus), grilled squid and for dessert puff pastry with ice cream and chocolate covered. House wine was great (tried white and red) and don't forget your "chupito" at the end. Ask your server for this special treat.
Fantastic family run resturaunts, perfect for family dining
Nice food. Recommend the pacalao starter.
One of the best places in Sagunto for a Friday or Saturday night dinner.
100% recomendable.
Awesome, just a great place . Fully Recommended . Excellent rice. This treasure is not plannified to visit. the credit is 100% for my wife, She has a good eye of eagle , take a look inside of the place and the kitchen and everything is clean. Meanwhile we walk inside of the restaurant an the food look incredible. After seeing that presentation we decided to order and eat. We made the right decision.
Lovely place for a glass of wine and some tapas. Beautiful views.
We ate from the menu. The starters were quite good, but the rice abanda wasn't up to par. It looked like a window-shop paella, tasteless, lacking in toppings, and the rice was tough. Honestly, it took them 5 minutes to replace our paella with another one that looked much better, with some jelly beans, squid, etc., but with little flavor. If I go back, I won't order rice.
We were a table of 9. They forced us all to order the same thing (from the menu), and then the worst things came along: we ordered a rice a banda for 6 and charged us €4 for the aioli and then €0.40 for the takeout container. It's clear that, as the owner told us, "it's my restaurant and I set my rules," but honestly, charging for aioli or lemon juice at a rice a banda is like charging for an empty glass for Coca-Cola—sharp. This is coming from a family from Alicante with more than 50 years in the hospitality industry.
Late December you need to know that it's impossible just to go there without reservation with one day advance. If you don't call one day before then you won't be let in. Not mentioning seated or served. It might be different in high season. As about food we were disappointed. Crockets were fine, garlic sauce tasty. Octopus prepared well but it's taste was ruined but extreme amount of salt. Hope for the good dinner failed when tried paella, which was as salty as the Dead Sea. In Sweden sugar is popular do maybe in Spain it's the same with salt. Totally not my taste. Bottle of white wine for 15 eur was nice surprise. Service was good though nobody spoke any foreign language (eng, Fra, deu) but it's typical for Spain.
) No volveré lógicamente.
If you like small portions and a menú del dia which doesn't include a drink then this is a place for you. I would like to find something positive to say about my dining experience, but i'm unable to do so. The service was very slow which was surprising considering there was very few occupied tables when we first arrived. A service with a smile would have made this disapointing experience better, but unfortunately what they lacked in smiles they made up for in the salt in the vegetable pealla.
