I came in to try the pork carnitas. They were delicious! This place is mainly made for to-go orders but there are a few tables you can sit down and enjoy your meal! It is a family-owned and run business the service was fantastic and the food was even better! This was like getting a home cooked Mexican dinner!
We’d been waiting for years for a reliable spot at the Hartnell Center, so we were thrilled when El Parrillaso on the Go opened. Their tacos and enchiladas are our go-to from an already extensive menu—those homemade tortillas really make a difference, and they never skimp on the meat. The guacamole is rich and fresh, not watered down. The restaurant is set up for to-go order (hence the name) but they have a few tables and we've enjoyed eating there. Service is fast and genuinely friendly (and they won’t hover about tips). We eat there every week and can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent quesabirria, good price for the area, convenient. Meat is very tender with just the right amount of cheese to not overwhelm the meat. Both meat and consomé had a nice, rich flavor.

some of the best tacos I’ve had in a long time And I’m not even from here. I got this from Google tacos near me and believe me. I am grateful I found this place. There are some very very good tacos.

I ordered 4 tacos and had to get 3 more they were so good. The owner is a very sweet lady, I liked her service a lot. The salsa bar is super stocked. Will definitely come back! (Wednesdays are two dollar tacos like what??)
The food was delicious. We had a burrito and taco combo. The food was perfectly cooked and the flavors were amazing. I believe the owner was who took our order and she was very sweet and hospitable. At one point the mailman came in and she gave him a free burrito. Just great people, great service and great food. Would definitely recommend!
I been in Salinas for 16 months now, im out here for work. This is the BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT in Salinas...!!! I've tried @ least 10 different places since I've been here El Parrillaso is the best 👌🏾 The menudo is FIRE 🔥, the chicken, and ground beef enchiladas are excellent 👌🏾 Taco Wednesday 🌮 hands down good... All the protein 💪🏾 bowls are great after a workout... You gotta go by and try it, and thank me later.
This was my first time being here. I ordered tacos of Chile Verde and carnitas as my drink a horchata. I will say they're food is very good for my it being my first time. I also want to include the lady that took my order is very friendly and inviting. I would recommend going here.
The food here is fresh and delicious. Chips are served hot and come with really good roasted tomato salsa. I ordered the steak ranchero plate which came with homemade tortillas. Very friendly service. This restaurant is a South Salinas gem. Highly recommend.

We LOVE El Parrillaso!! The food is delicious and everyone who works here is so welcoming. The business is family run and the owner makes us feel at home every time we go. The homemade corn tortillas are SO GOOD! But honestly so is everything else they make. My husband love the carnitas. Their menudo is my niece’s new favorite of all the taquerias in town. The super tacos are a whole meal - loaded and so filling. I can’t choose a favorite, it’s all so good! I rotate through the pastor, sopes, ceviche special, breakfast burritos, chile verde, and enchiladas. You really can’t go wrong here, delicious food and the sweetest service!

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Easily one of the best meals I've ever had—highly recommend!
People are so friendly but I’m sorry food just not it. We got the carne asada fries and no flavor. We also got the quesabirias and looks like they were reheated. The cilantro didn’t look fresh green it looked reheated green like a green brown. Thank you for being so friendly but wouldn’t recommend the food.
