Been a few times. Had the salmon the first time and the meatloaf just recently. Service and food were awesome both times. My wife said the ribeye was great.

I don't know what I was expecting, but to my surprise, it was exceptional. I recommend all of these dishes. Chicken fried chicken and Smothered Chicken are my favorite. Meatloaf was cooked to perfection. We will be visiting again.

This place has really good food for a reasonable price. Everything we ate was delicious. I spent a little over 100 dollars for 5 people including appetizer and dessert.

First time. Absolutely delicious! Wednesday night, no wait, walked in and sat down. All staff was friendly and helpful. Gabe our waiter was professional, friendly, offered suggestions, and gave advice on the menu when we asked. Food came out fairly quick, hot, and fresh! We ordered fried mushrooms app, country fried chicken with scratch mashed potatoes and gravy and sweet potato casserole, a soda, and 16oz ribeye with double fries. Plus, we signed up for the rewards program bc this is my new favorite restaurant!!! We will be coming back! Even the manager, Ashley, came out to thank us for coming in. She was very sweet, told us about the specials offered on what days, as well as about the rewards program. We received our mushrooms app for free for signing up. Sorry, pictures were an after thought, so mushrooms are already packed to go, and my husband already had started digging in to his food as well. Pictures don't do it justice. I'm not a steak person AT ALL (plus, I have TMJ and usually can't chew them), and I thought his ribeye tasted delicious and was tender. Trust me, you definitely want to try Aspen Creek Grill! 💛

This is only the second time my wife have been here, but both have been memorable experiences. This latest time was for my wife's... ?? birthday and we ended up taking home more than we actually ate. Lol. It was all great especially the smothered pork chops.

Amazing dinner. Steaks were cooked perfectly to order. Wonderful staff. The deep fried cheesecake was the most delicious dessert I've had in a while! Definitely recommend!!!

My significant other and stepdaughter took me here for my birthday Saturday, March 1st. My 1st visit. I've nothing but 5 star accolades to say about the entire experience. The food was absolutely top shelf and the service was above and beyond thanks to our outstanding waiter, Tyler. Suffice it to say, we're now going to become monthly "regulars". Thank you to the entire staff, front and back of the house!! Looking forward to our next visit 😀

I have been to this location twice, and both visits were great. I really enjoy the staff as they provide great service, and the management team ensures a great environment. The Pow Wow Shrimp is awesome! The kitchen struggled to get the Ribeye right, but the Waitress was great and made our second visit an awesome one.

Have been here a few times, wait staff has always been polite and tentative, food has always been very good. Happy hour drinks were no different then non happy hour. Thanks Aspen Creek staff, will be coming here more often.

This place was a chance find. It was delicious! The rib eye was tender, flavorful, and cooked to order. The fried pickles were awesome. The mashed potatoes were fresh & fluffy. My only regret is that I was too full to try a dessert. My only negative was the waiter. Our tea glasses went unfilled & it took him forever to get the check. Go hungry and leave with a very satisfied tummy. Another visit today (11/18/2019) and another excellent meal. Our friendly server, Jennifer, recommended BBQ sauce on our Fried Pickles tonight. I know it sounds crazy, but it was awesome. It was even awesomer (new word!) with some Ranch dressing added. Weird, but true! Thanks for the suggestion Jennifer!

Aspen was so delicious! Our server Kayla was amazing. We had the potato skins, fried pork loin, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and Mac n cheese.

Food is typical American cuisine. Usually very tasty and delicious. However, I noticed that the side salad with the meal often includes micro particles of egg shells with the salad. I don’t think this is intentional… just irritating. If you absolutely hate egg shells in your salad, order a different side. Everything else is awesome.

We had a great time.. Came for another Birthday Bash (20+) peeps. Adam the Manager was great, he made sure our wait time was short and our room was ready. Our servers were Grey and Sahara . They were able to take care of us and make sure our drinks were filled and our food was hot. Didn’t want for anything .. I had steak.. Others ordered chicken fried steak, mile high meatloaf, jambalaya and baby back ribs.. There are plenty of items to choose from. I loved the prices, very reasonable for a family looking for good food and great prices. We definitely will be coming back. Thanks Aspen Creek !!

Amazing food , Amazing Customer Service, Amazing atmosphere !! This place is amazing, I decided to try it out for my birthday and so happy that I did. The food tasted amazing along with the great customer service! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and asked how your days been going. Our waitress was amazing with such a pleasant smile, ask for Jennifer!! She knows her stuff and provides awesome recommendations. The bathrooms were extremely clean which is vital due to my medical needs. I recommend this place for everyone to try !!

Just wanted to give a shout out to our wonderful server Josh. It’s been a rough few weeks with my dad in the hospital. My kids and I came out to dinner and Josh was wonderful. He was truly a breath of fresh air during a rough period. You could tell he enjoyed what he did and is a true gem! Thanks Josh for providing us with such a fun and relaxing time! I went here with family and friends and it was a great choice. The menu had a wide variety with multiple categories and the prices were better than any restaurant I can think of when I originally was ready to spend at least 30 per plate. The food tasted good and our server was kind & knowledgeable. Took home a bottle of Moscato as well, kudos to Aspen Creek Grill.

We were greeted twice upon entry and the staff immediately took care of us at the bar. Drinks were great, the chili was alright, but their wings with the black diamond hot sauce is one of the best wings I've ever tasted. My husband's meal was the meat loaf and mine was the Cajun catfish, both dishes were amazing! We ended our night with their brownie and icecream which hit the spot. I would honestly come back again to try other dishes and special drinks. Our bartender/server was so nice and did more than enough for his service

We started coming here a few years ago. My first experience was not great but a month or so later my son and I decided to give it another go. We had an amazing server named Adam that night. He made sure everything was right after hearing about our issues before and was exceptional at his job. We started coming pretty often and got lucky to have Adam as our server most times. Over the years Adam and I have become friends and it was great to see him promoted. While I miss having him as a server the other servers are always great. We had a large party in about a week ago and Josiah was our server. He handled our large kind of crazy group of people excellently and was joking with our group throughout the night. Many of my friends have never been here till recently and now it’s one of their favorite places to go. Food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere are always 10+++++

This is one of our go-to spots for a quick lunch or dinner. We visit often, and the experience is consistently great. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is always good, and the standards are reliably met every time we come in. It’s a dependable place when you want a solid meal without any fuss. We genuinely enjoy it and will continue coming back.

Atmosphere and service was great! My 8oz filet mignon was amazing and my husband's habenero burger was great. The portions were a good size as well. My mango sweet tea was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I have so much memories from this restaurant. Foods are good. It doesn't look like fully cooked in the restaurant only but still great taste. Service is good. Close enough from my home. Their Pow Wow Shrimp half off Wednesday deal is my all time favorite deal from here.

The atmosphere is a little strange for Texas but I get what they're going for with the theme. The only thing I didn't like is the first time we went there they didn't ask if we wanted to be on the side with the bar or not, this is only a problem as my husband is a recovered alcoholic so it may not affect you just be aware. All in all is has become one of our favorite places to eat in San Antonio.

This was our second time here! Both times were such a great experience! The best service we have received in a while! Manager is super friendly, we have met him both times. The food was amazing! Their blue cheese sirloin was my favorite! They have great desserts. The first time we ordered a deep fried cheesecake dessert with ice cream, it was perfect for sharing! Also as a side we recommend the sweet potato casserole 🥘 it was delicious! Definitely making this our regular spot. Also, it’s kid friendly! Our kids loved their grilled cheese sandwich with fries.

I came to Aspen Grill not knowing what to expect only to be presently surprised by how good it was. The food category I would consider to be comfort/home cooking. Lots of menu selections to keep you busy deciding. The food was excellent along with the service and ambience. For the type of quality I would consider the prices to be more than fair. Highly recommended!! I've had the meatloaf, shrimp & Grits, Pot Roast, Pow Wow Shrimp!

As always, this place is amazing. The shrimp and smoked wings are just too delicious. Waiter was super friendly and quick on the refills. I was a little upset they were out of tenderloin but I get the whole supply shortage at this point. Still 5 stars in my book. July '22. Went and ordered some food today. Shrimp was amazing and fresh as always. The chili though was hearty in ingredients but had absolutely no flavor. If I had my hot sauce on hand, it would have fixed it for sure. Still love the place.

Had the most amazing dinner at Aspen Grill tonight! Our server Kat was so knowledgeable about the menu and let us know about all her favorite dishes we should try. She was so friendly and offered her time and was attentive. She checked back often to make sure we were happy with out dining experience. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The protion size for the price was spot on! After out meal the assistant manager Josh came over and thanked us for coming in and offered us a coupon to encourage our return. Awesome experience. The wife and I are just starting to go out again. We stopped by Aspen Creek today for the first time and we were very impressed. The place is clean and the service is impeccable. Our server was attentive and always a step ahead. The food came out in a timely manner and was high quality! If your in the area and have not tried this place you need to go. We had the lunch special. 6.99 for 2 items. Great deal. The food was worth way more. The manager stopped by to ask how it went which is always nice. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich and WOW. it was delicious. Oh.. the fried cheesecake just showed up! If you come here you need to order it!!!!! IT IS DELICIOUS.

Pricing was reasonable and the portions were large, the food was excellent, especially any steak that they serve. They serve. They cut their own meat right here at the restaurant. Service was friendly and with a smile 😁

What a treat to find this place. I took my cousin and daughter to eat here and it was a wonderful surprise! The atmosphere is casual and energetic. The wait staff is topnotch. Jennifer is a star. She is the epitome of what wait staff should be. The manager was also great and extremely responsive to her customers. The food was tasty and the prices are more than reasonable. Manager Steve invited me to come out to his restaurant so my boyfriend and I went out to dinner on our date night. The wait staff was very nice. Steve came out to greet us and sat with us for a bit. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Alex our waiter was very nice. The food was delicious with good flavor. He got the salmon and I got the steak.

We came here for the first time, April 23rd and had lunch. The food was really good and so was our service. With so many good food options on the menu, we will definitely come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aspen Creek Grill, and I have to say, the experience was made even better by our incredible server, Joseph Lytle. From the moment we sat down, Joseph treated us like family, ensuring that every need was met and that we were comfortable throughout our meal. He was so attentive and genuinely sweet—it felt like he truly cared about making our experience enjoyable. Joseph went above and beyond by introducing us to the Aspen Creek Rewards system and even took the time to explain how to check for available coupons. It’s rare to find someone so knowledgeable and willing to help in such a personal way. One of the highlights of our visit was when Joseph asked if we'd like to sign his book. He carries around a brown notebook filled with names and messages from the "cool people" he's met during his time working at Aspen Creek. It was such a fun and thoughtful gesture, and we were excited to add our note to his collection. It’s clear that Joseph has a special way of connecting with guests, and it was heartwarming to see how much he values the relationships he builds with people. I highly recommend both the restaurant and Joseph if you're ever in the area. He’s the kind of server who makes you want to return, not just for the great food, but for the amazing experience and warmth he brings to the table. Kudos to you, Joseph—you made our day!

This was my first visit here. The parking is ample, the wait staff was excellent. I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, one of my faves (it is not offered at too many restaurants in San Antonio so whenever I see it in the menu, I order it right away.) I was pleasantly surprised with the food. It was made quickly and it was absolutely delicious! My husband ordered the potato soup and he really enjoyed it as well. Sadly, in my excitement, I failed to take pictures of our meals! Well, the only way to remedy that is to return and order the food again! 😋 But for the purposes of this review, I highly recommend it, and has a great family atmosphere!! PS. These pics are from a subsequent visit, January 4, 2022 and it's still amazing! It was the first time I've ever had fried cheesecake a la mode, and it was amazing, but definitely a shared dessert. Pictured is the Fried Cheesecake, the Buffalo Burger, Bacon Chicken Burger, Monte Cristo Plate, and the Chicken Fried Chicken Plate. Fantastic!

OMG, my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Aspen Creek. It was our first time and it will not be our last. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and smiles by the hostess. Although our server Ashley was busy, she handled us well. Our food was delicious and did not disappoint!

First off, the restaurant seating and bar accommodations are nice. Great food and service. They even have my fav beer on tap, which is a rarity. Second, the staff.. always friendly and despite demanding customers, they keep their cool. No complaints.

My husband had the ribs and steak, I had lime honey salmon and my girls had cheese burgers. The food was delicious and freshly made. There was little to no wait. But the service was ABOVE and BEYOND. our waitress Kim was sooo superb. She was extra extra kind to our girls and engaged them in conversation. Our girls birthday is just a few days away so they got free ice cream. What an amazing night from what we thought was a routine dinner outing. Thank you Kim !!! Don’t forget to try their sweet potato casserole!!

Very yummy! They have great gift card sales in December/January I hope you took advantage of it. Also you should check their patron/sign in I believe (please check) you get a free drink (non-alcoholic) just for checking in every 4 visits? Again please double check that claim (I was enjoying a margarita-omg it was soooo good I had 2!). The only thing I would recommend is that if you get a soup make sure you ask for it hot. I love my soup scalding hot/hot not lukewarm. They also have great happy hour specials 😁

I just ate here today and I am eager to review this place because I just noticed that I hadn't done so in the past. I got the Southwestern steak sandwich this time and wow it was really REALLY good and highly suggest it if you like steak but don't want to pay steak prices! My second choice would be the Chicken Bacon sandwich and that too is really good as well! The service has been really good and I'm glad this place is here because I remember when Johnny Carrinos closed and there was nothing there for years! Would come back here to watch a game or just a night out with the family!

First time here! Yummy food and great service! Our server, Alex, was awesome and very attentive! I had salmon in a lobster sauce with shrimp and mushrooms! Side of broccoli and sautéed mushrooms! Hubby had Fried pork chop, lso yummy!

Came to this restaurant today as I've been here several times before. Nice restaurant, great environment with a nice bar to chill out and watch a game. Their food/menu is great, traditional American food at a fairly decent price. I've had their BBQ Ribs before as well as their delicious loaded meatloaf entrée. I've tried their country fried chicken today and it was pretty good 👍🏼 👌🏼.

A friend and I dined at Aspen Creek Grill as soon as they opened one Sunday morning. The service, food and atmosphere were excellent. Our server was high energy, smiling and very friendly. He checked on us often. The food came out quickly and was so fresh. They had a ton of menu options but I chose the fish & chips. Both the fish and fries were crispy, hot and very delicious. My friend ordered a steak with a truffle breading on top and she was very happy with her choice. This is the second time I've been here and I've been delighted with the service and food both times. I'll definitely be back!

I drove 3 hrs for a concert in San Antonio. The next day I wanted to explore the city and looked up best steaks in the area and Aspen Creek caught my attention, I drove 45 mins from my hotel and it was well worth it! From the moment I got there I was greeted by the most friendliest customers, The Customers! Didn’t take long to be acknowledged by the staff and I was seated right away. I ordered my sirloin steak rare and it was perfect! From the bark, to the flavor, and the actual “rare” I was beyond impressed! I will definitely be making that extra long drive just to dine here again!

My husband and I went here for the first time on Steak Night with a group of friends, and overall it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and perfect for a relaxed night out. There was a small mix-up with our side dishes, but the staff handled it quickly and kindly, and it honestly did not take away from the evening at all. We started with the shrimp appetizer, which was absolutely amazing and set the tone for the rest of the meal. The steak was a great size, cooked well, and paired perfectly with the horseradish sauce, which added just the right amount of kick. The sweet potatoes were the perfect side—flavorful, comforting, and a great complement to the main dish. To top it all off, dessert was the perfect way to end the night. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends with us. I would absolutely recommend this place—10/10, you should give it a try.

This place is Awesome. To be honest this is the first time my Wife and I have been here, but when your Wife eats like a bird and always has a Togo container with most all of her food in you notice things. This Woman ordered baby back ribs and "Pow Pow" shrimp. When we got our plates I look at her and said "good luck with that" and we both had a chuckle. I dug into my steak and potato and am about half way thru it, my Wife says you need to try this shrimp, I look at her plate and her ribs are gone and there were three shrimp left. I got back into my steak and then looked over again and there was only one shrimp left.... I ate the shrimp and instantly realized why they named them Pow Pow, its because you keep Pow Powing them into your mouth!!! The service was great as well, we sat at the bar the two Bartenders Logen and Isabelle took care of us were great. I bartender for twenty one years so when I sit on someone's bar I just naturally watch the Bartenders. These two were busy on a Saturday night, but calm and collect, you can tell if someone is stressing with anything you do. They were busy, taking care of business and still had time to make small talk with customers and not with just each other. All in all we had a great experience and had some great food we will be back and I encouraging you to do the same, but if you see me there let me get in front of you in the wait list.

Also, our server Celeste was really awesome! She was attentive, polite, sweet and soo helpful! We really appreciate her serving us. I also appreciate the restaurant for having a gluten-free menu which is great for people that have food allergies. They truly care for those that have a gluten allergy. Been curious to see how good this place is, reviews on Google are always positive . I ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak combo with shrimp and two sides, my two sides were broccoli and fries and an ice Tea, total before tip was 25 bucks. Overall, it met my expectations, the atmosphere was pretty chill, music in the background, not distracting, sat at the bar to watch college football The bartender was very attentive and service was great. I always order my steaks well done, my preference, and it was cooked really good, good flavor, the shrimp was delicious also and the sides were great. Definitely recommend for an evening outing with friends and family, lots of seating. Their menu has everything from comfort food to chicken and seafood Definitely worth a visit

First time here. We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive and friendly. There were a couple very large groups which delayed our food, but it was communicated up front and in a good manner so it didn’t detract. We started with the queso which was the best we’ve had anywhere in San Antonio. We both had different types of salmon. The salmon was overcooked, but delicious flavours. I’m giving the benefit of the overcooked salmon due to the large parties and hope it will be cooked better on our next visit. Look forward to trying more items. They have a great menu which should satisfy anyone. The restaurant is very nice, but come on, the seat is beyond destroyed. It should be fixed asap. I’m not docking a star at this point but usually would. This much damage has been here a long time. For $85 lunches, I expect a nicer seating experience.

The ribeye was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. The fish was fresh and seasoned just right, and the chicken tenders were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also tried the grits, mashed potatoes, fries, sautéed mushrooms, and macaroni — and honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t enjoy. The sides were flavorful and clearly made with care, and the portions were generous. The prices here are more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get. It’s the kind of place where you leave full, satisfied, and already planning your next visit. The service was attentive without being rushed, and our drinks were always topped off. Aspen Grill – Great Both Times! My first visit to Aspen Grill was for lunch, and I was impressed with the steak, ribs, Pow Wow shrimp, and soups—everything was delicious. I came back today for dinner and wasn’t disappointed. I had the Southwestern Steak Sandwich, and my family ordered entrées as well. Service was friendly and attentive, the music and vibe were great, and the bathrooms were clean. I ended the night with their apple pie and brownie with ice cream—both were amazing. What a delicious restaurant set in a cozy mountain cabin vibe. Went for lunch on a Monday and had the sirloin special, omg🤩 These people can cook a steak perfectly with amazing flavor! The added mushrooms and peppercorn sauce added even more flavorful. Sides were all good. The sweet potato casserole was sweet like a dessert but delicious. Fried cheesecake was very decadent! Can be shared 2-4 ways easily.

We came here for the first time to celebrate my brother's 19th birthday. Jennifer was wonderful as she waited on us and gave us some excellent recommendations. The food was decently proportional to the price, aside from the alcoholic beverages, which i felt were small for the price. A lot of the food seemed very appealing except that they add a lot of spice to every dish like habanero or buffalo and even the regular dishes like country fried chicken, had a spiciness to it. Other than that the visit was wonderful and the restaurant looked amazing as well. We probably won't be back but it was a wonderful first experience for us.

Everyone at my table enjoyed their food other than me. I ordered the shrimp mac and cheese, and there was so much garlic I couldn't finish. The server was very nice and did a good job but seemed overwhelmed. The tabletops were sticky. Atmosphere was nice and the tvs were not too loud.

Great service and good food at a good price! Love the variety in their menu - lots of homestyle choices and comfort food. The mushroom appetizer was fried perfectly, crisp breading, but mushrooms still firm and not greasy. Could use a better sauce (ie. 54th Street recipie?) Kids were disappointed there were no steak bites, but both loved their cheeseburgers! It's now known as "The best kids menu burger so far.." My wife was happy with her meatloaf as usual, and I decided to try the chicken fried steak. I have to say, off the bat I was disappointed by the size at first glance...I mean, we're in Texas, right? But it was flavorful and hot and crispy with a great meat to breading ratio. No shrinking steak and empty breading bites here. Potato was on the mark and broccoli cooked perfectly. I know some people like to get extra chatty and personal w servers, but I just like straight-up, well attended, well checked on, and followed up service, and that's what I got. Great job! We'll definitely be back.

Great customer service. Thomas was running the show serving, hosting and managing short staff while simultaneously a coaches association meeting was being conducted. New to SA. 39th wedding anniversary dinner celebration. The restaurant mgr opened the door for us to enter, but was not friendly and did not welcome us. The waiter made up for it because he was extremely friendly, fast and efficient. He made sure that we had everything we needed, invited us to come back in. The rainbow trout was a bit greasy and under cooked and served with a strange rice. The rice had a strong mm flavor, it wasn't good, seemed like a Ricem Roni . I'm from Colorado so I had high expectations and it was a let down. My potato soup was yummy. They should offer homemade rolls. Hubby said his chicken fried steak was good and he had beers and I had a marg which were alright. They have a happy hour in the afternoon, I didn't complain about the food since the rest of our experience was ok. It was supposed to be a celebratory meal, so I let my bad food go by the wayside. Seating was dirty and floor was sticky. Probably won't return.

Arrived on a Sunday around 12:30 in the afternoon. There was plenty of parking and I was seated right away. I ordered some green chili queso with chips as an appetizer. My drink and the appetizer arrived relatively quickly. The chips seemed fresh and had the right amount of salt on them. They were good. The green chili queso was also very good. It's not spicy, but you can see some chili's mixed in there. I ordered the Hot Habanero Burger. It took a little long to get my order. From the time I placed the order to the time it arrived, it was probably about 20 minutes. Not too bad. They do have televisions and if you're watching the football games or some kind of games on the TVs, time will probably fly by. The burger was cooked medium to medium well as you can see. You can request that they could get to your likeness. It is noted in their menu that their burgers are cooked to this doneness, so if you want to cook more, make sure to mention it. I liked the burger. It was fresh and juicy. However, it was not spicy. The habanero relish they add in combination with the chipotle mayo have a good flavor but are not hot at all. I will say that I have a higher heat tolerance. Maybe someone who's not used to eating spicy foods would find it a little hot, but even so, I expected at least some heat to be present. What they could maybe work on is giving the patty a little char. I don't know how they cook it but it didn't have a nice little crust or char to give it some more flavor. The french fries were very good. They've got a particular type of batter that makes them taste great. I only wish they were a little hotter. They were warm, but seemed like they'd been ready for several minutes before they were brought out. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. She dropped by the table a couple of times to see if we needed anything. I would go back again without hesitation. I've eaten here before and also had a great experience. On my previous visit, I had the chicken fried steak. I enjoyed it. I believe I ordered two gravies, a brown and a white, and found that mixed together created the best gravy for the CFS.

The dried mushrooms and Pow Wow Shrimp were delicious. Our entrees, not so much. Had the catfish and the country fried steak. Fries were rubbery and coleslaw tasted like perfume. Our server, Isabel, was amazing! Super bubbly and friendly.

The architecture of the building reminds me of a cabin on the woods, hence the name of this place. The dishes are well put together and their flavor and appearance are attractive. We ordered a variety of plates and all of them were good. Unfortunately, they made us wait about one hour for the food. We were almost full with the appetizers and that us probably why I did not get a great impression on the food. I recommend you go there with good company to enjoy the waiting time for the food to be served.

I’m sad that I had to dock this place a star. We came out to this location with our family and we were pretty excited to try it out. They promote themselves as a “scratch kitchen” which apparently means they make a lot of stuff from scratch. We were seated pretty quickly but unfortunately our waiter just wasn’t with it. He forgot to bring waters with the other drinks (which I had requested), he forgot to put in our appetizer order, and he didn’t put in my wife’s order (fish tacos) so we got all of our food but not hers. I understand that sometimes a particular dish can take longer, but 7 plates came out and it took almost another 10 minutes to get here. When I asked about it, he made it sound like it was late because it was busy but really seemed like he forgot to put it in. This is having already waiting over 45 minutes for the food to come out anyway. I’d 100% rather someone just own the mistake and offer a discount or something to make it right. While he didn’t own it, they did comp that plate which makes up for the mistake. However, it can’t get that missing 5th star back because the whole experience is as thrown off by these things (and it being “busy”… less than half the tables were filled and plenty of employees just standing around) All that being said, the food was really good. The crusted trout was delicious, my brother in law said the steak was amazing, and my mother in law loved the meatloaf. Overall, food is great and I hate to rate them down for one bad experience with a server (who was really nice btw just didn’t deliver a great service). Really good options from the menu and the drinks looked good too. I’d suggest trying them out .

First, I want to commend my waiter. Josh was attentive and so friendly. He truly made our experience so much better! My country fried steak was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and full of flavor. The ski bum was sweet, tasty and is probably dangerous because I couldn't taste the alcohol lol my husband got the hot habanero burger and WOW! It actually had a nice kick to it that we usually don't get at other places. Overall, it was a great first impression and it will now be one of our go to spots !

Service was great and the pow wow shrimp was fantastic. The meatloaf was ok, a little spicy but not to bad. Mac and cheese was what you'd expect. The chicken fried steak was good but white gravy was too sweet. The onion rings that sat on top of meatloaf was terrible. This was our first time here and I would recommend this place for a meal.

The Mid-Watch

We stopped in here for a mini luncheon with about 10 people and were accommodated on the spot, which was pretty impressive already. Now, let me start by saying these guys have a great menu. It one of those where everything looks good so you dont know what to order...always a good problem to have as a restaurant. Our server was great, the food was prompt and very good. Everyone was pleased with their order. The atmosphere is great, if you just want to stop by for drinks with some friends, this is a good spot for that too. I highly recommend the cucumber margaritas(frozen or on the rocks) I've had too many of both 😂 and they are amazing! The food was good but nothing special and service is definitely lacking. The hostesses at the door are not pleasant at all. They act like theyre doing us a favor by speaking to us. We actually had to call the waitstaff across the restaurant for help since they dont come by the table. When you ask for more tea or other requests, they disappear, again for long periods. Not attentive at all. We were seated at a table that was all sticky and covered with crumbs. The food is good, but if I can't have good service, why go?

Aspen Creek tries its best, but fell short when it came to basic principles of seasoning. For the price tag food was very bland. Presentation was good. Waiter got bored of our table mid way during service, and vanished till it was time for the check.

This was our first time dining at Aspen Grill, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. While our waitress was friendly and professional, the overall experience left much to be desired. The food was both over-seasoned and undercooked. I ordered chicken, which was visibly pink when cut into—something even our waitress acknowledged. She took it back to the kitchen, but the cook dismissed the concern, claiming it was “just the lighting.” When the waitress returned with a flashlight to check again, it was clearly undercooked. At that point, I declined a remake, as I wasn’t willing to risk foodborne illness. In addition, the chips served with the spinach dip were extremely stale, and our table was dirty upon arrival—with wet spots and an uneven surface that made it wobble throughout our meal. What made matters worse was that no manager came by to address the situation, even after the cook essentially implied I was imagining the issue. After that, I honestly didn’t feel comfortable eating anything else for fear the kitchen might not handle it properly. Unfortunately, this experience has made it difficult for me to recommend Aspen Grill, and we won’t be returning.

If you’re trying to plan a birthday dinner and make reservations ahead of time, this isn’t the place. I had a disappointing experience at Aspen Creek Grill. The service was terrible from the start. The manager, Adam, was sitting down eating and drinking with his friends instead of attending to customers. When we finally managed to get his attention, he seemed more interested in arguing than resolving our issues. To top it off, when we mentioned that we had to bus our own table, he casually replied that it was "not his problem." It's frustrating to feel ignored and unvalued as a customer. I won't be returning anytime soon.

The food used to be pretty good, but the last two take-out orders were awful. Meat was overcooked. Had to saw through the meatloaf with a bread knife. The chicken and baked potato were dry and tasteless. I'll never order from them again, or recommend them to anyone else.

My family & i visited this location this past Saturday evening , we are from out of town ! We had the worst experience ever. We got sat with the host who was super nice ! When she returned with just waters I asked if they had it she stated she didn’t even check , once she returned again she said they did have it but did not bring it out to us ? Fast fwd to ordering our meals , they were out of mashed potatoes which is the main side at this restaurant but that’s okay that’s not one’s fault, so we ordered another meal that we waited ONE WHOLE HOUR for , & never received because we left ! In that hr of waiting we were never checked on , never acknowledged as our server walked past us with other orders . Mind you I have an autistic child who was hungry from the whole ride out of town ,I understand it gets busy but to not acknowledge us for a whole hour is insane and I felt discriminated! Diners beware. I've been in food service a long time and I can tell a nasty place immediately. My full-time job is actually to see these things in my own work place day in and day out. You know people like us go out to eat too, right? We're not all gullible. First sign was a moldy menu. Clearly moldy. Like I'm not sure how so many people missed it because that's been there a while. Then they brought silverware that was not only obviously disgusting with paper stuck to it (it's required by health code to change dishwasher water every 2 hours and servers should be checking and polishing silverware as they roll it) but the napkin was also covered in white mold spots. So that's a dishwasher or two, a server, and a bartender who all missed the dirty silverware. I checked to see if the napkin mold maybe was powdered sugar, but it wouldn't come off. I sent the menu back with the silverware and a "my dude, these are disgusting," and ordered against my better judgement because my husband had been waiting all afternoon to eat. Both our meals came on greasy plates, meaning they were dirty before they had our meals on them. If you touched a bare spot on the plate you could see the smears. Every single lime wedge they brought for our drinks was brown, so we asked for a few in a cup so we could choose our own. Know how else I can tell they are using old limes? They brought them in a bar glass with bottled lime juice poured over them to make them look better (you can tell by the color of the juice), but the problem was that the juice took up 1/3 of the (very dirty) glass. The couple next to us at the bar found *something* in their food and walked their tab. Didn't even drink their beers. The bartender couldn't have cared less the whole night as he was too busy making his own personal drinks and some for his buddies. He didn't even notice until someone else tried to sit there. How do you not notice at the bar if you're right there behind the bar? That's next level neglect. I don't know how they are getting by day-to-day like this. Edited to add that I've reported them to the health department.

Not impressed, go here regularly today it was completely different than normal. Couldn’t sit in a table section, finally asked to be moved after others were sitting in the table section, requested to sit a table away from the other full tables and was denied plenty of room to accommodate that request and the waitress stated she was covering the entire section, won’t comment on food quality as we never got to place an order. So we just left ventured to another steak house instead 🤷🏻‍♂️

My husband ordered a steak and 75% was pure fat. He would have rather had a steak overcooked than the one he was served. The baked potato was terrible and the sweet potato casserole was only ok. We had to pay $30 for a meal that wasn't even edible. The only good this was our server was nice.
