Stopped at Extra Fine before going to class , ordered a Strawberry White Chocolate Syrup Matcha with oatmilk and an Americano . WOW the matcha is super delicious !!! Wanted to take a picture of the menu but I had people behind me and was a little shy this morning . They only accept card payments not card payments heads up , do have enough parking space. The food choices and dessert choices looked delicious .
Very much a vibe here 🩷 I got the vanilla iced latte topped with the cheese touch (blueberry cheesecake cold foam) and the coconut dreams (coconut matcha cloud). The Cuban sandwich is warmed and it’s DELICIOUS, I’m not a huge fan of pork but man you could tell it was grilled, 100% impressed. The breakfast sando did taste a little odd though, almost like a fishy taste. Otherwise, very cute environment, the drinks aren’t very sweet so be sure to add some extra syrup if you like yours sweet!
Cute! Indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty pastries and good options for a more filling snack, including a breakfast sandwich. Real artisan coffee made with espresso. SA is starting to feel like ATX lol.
We decided to try out Extra Fine after spending the morning touring the Briscoe Western Art Museum. I loved that the menu was short but offered an excellent variety of items. I ordered the quiche (recommended by our cashier) and my boyfriend ordered the club. Both were incredibly delicious. That pastry crust on the quiche though… YUM! My only complaint is that there are no refills on the coffee. It was GREAT coffee and I just get a plain ole drip black coffee. It was a small cup - one refill would have been nice, especially considering that tiny cup was $3.50. But coffee disappointment aside, not worth knocking a star off the review. :) The interior is so cute with eye catching decor everywhere. I’m curious about the dinosaurs. Haha. I loved them! Such a fun vibe. I definitely want to come here one weekday to break up the work from home monotony.
I love this spot and apparently it's a great place to do work because I saw several people on laptops. The coffee was great. There are delicious pastries and a limited breakfast and lunch menu. I got the breakfast sandwich and blueberry muffin, which were both good. There's free street parking and a parking lot to the left of the building but I'm not sure if it's meant for this place. I liked the music that was playing. The employees were nice and I got my drink/food very quickly.
I’ve visited this location quite a few times and they never disappoint. The food and pastries are out of this world. You will find this adorable little spot nestled in the Monte Vista neighborhood. The breakfast sandwiches are my absolute favorite, I don’t eat eggs in my sandwiches but this is the only place I have to have egg in my sandwich. The quiche is delicious and creamy and comes with a yummy little salad. The lunch menu, everything is amazing of course but the club is an absolute hit. Let’s move on to the pastries now, shall we? Just eat everything. Made fresh daily and the flavor profiles are familiar with a touch of uniqueness. The blueberry yuzu muffin is extraordinary, it’s a sweet muffin with the tang of yuzu. The atmosphere of the place is so calm and mellow. The seats along the walls have plugs under them so you can plug in your phone or laptops. If you can’t make it during the week they offer an amazing spread for brunch on the weekends. This will quickly become your new favorite spot. They also do cake orders for any event you may have.
It's always a a pleasure coming in here, thank you. It's always so clean and the staff is fine So friendly, the sandwiches are made while you wait and i've never had a bad coffee here. Thanks guys for being so uplifting just what I need to start my day!
I ordered avocado toast, expecting just that - was blown away by it! Delicious sourdough bread, creamy spread and fresh tomatoes perfectly seasoned. It was the best avo toast I’ve ever had! I also ordered the seasonal baklava latte which was super tasty as well. Friendly staff, quick service and a great atmosphere!
Came for coffee but stayed because the menu was so tempting. The thai tea pancakes were amazing and not overly sweet, breakfast sandwich was also killer. Servers were quick and friendly! Definitely coming back :)
I came here back in March, but after scrolling my camera roll & revisiting these pics, I was reminded how wonderful their food was. Honestly, I'm shocked I haven't been back. The environment was cozy and welcoming, and our server was very personable. Definitely a spot I'll be revisiting very soon.
Best latte I've had in a hot MINUTE! The crispy potatoes were absolutely delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed the squash quiche. The kolache with fruit (apricot) was the best one I've had since the Czech Stop in West. Will be back for sure. I can't wait for cooler weather so we can sit comfortably in their outdoor area. 💗
Ordered delivery and got much more than anticipated! We got a delicious quiche (that was still warm), two different sandwiches, and their carrot cake and chocolate espresso mousse desserts. The sandwiches were both phenomenal with a great balance of fillings and delicious bread. The carrot cake was good and not too sweet… but the chocolate espresso mousse was an instant hit with my husband. Chocolate mousse is one of his favorites and the fluffy smooth texture of this one were… extra fine. We will definitely be ordering from here again! Everything was packaged well and arrived timely through Favor. The only thing I would suggest is calling to see what their pastries are before placing an order as the delivery apps aren’t always accurate.

After a rough morning, I came to Extra Fine for a pick me up treat and to get some work done between meetings. The coffee was delicious and the gluten-free almond cake was excellent. The staff were SO FRIENDLY and kind. The place was full of people doing all kinds of things. It felt energizing to share space. I walked out much happier and more ready for my afternoon than when I came in. Great coffee, great food, great vibes.
I really enjoyed everything about this bakery and cafe. I needed to chill for a few hours and searched for places with free parking. I’m so glad I found Extra Fine. I love the chill vibe, awesome music, and the delicious food. I had iced tea and a sandwich, which I enjoyed immensely. The inside the cafe is decorated tastefully, and I especially love the dinosaurs that are integrated into the interior and exterior design.

This morning I was in the mood for a cinnamon roll, I decided to try out Extra Fine Bakerys Iced Latte and one of their tasty looking Cinnamon Rolls. Let me tell you, don't walk RUN! I needed this like last year. If your in the area and need something delicious go visit Miss Shelby and she will hook you right up! Thank you for the amazing customer service as well ma'am I understand why some people get 6 or 7 of em 🤤 keep up the great work and I pray you get tons more business because this place is making me comeback for sure! The latte was perfect not too sweet just RIGHT! The cinnamon Roll, flaky, sweet, fluffy and delicious 🤤 I had to put it away before it disappeared so fast because I want a taste for later 🤣 in the words of the Terminator "I'll be back"!!!
Loved this Extra Fine cafe in San Antonio. Great coffee. I had a Carmel latte and it was so delicious. The cafe is small but has plenty of seating. Check it out, I know you’ll love it!
Overall a nice stop to support a small business. Unfortunately I had to give them a 4/5 due to the amount of food to the price paid. I ordered the Cuban sandwich ($15) thinking it would be a good portion of food. I was disappointed. As it was a Saturday morning, they were a bit a busy and like most understaffed, so the food came out slow and at different times. My recommendation, stick to the pastries and coffee. Keep it simple.
Cute cafe with indoor and outdoor seating though there were only a few tables for outdoor. Was excited to try their pastries. Got the Thai tea milk bun and orange pistachio sticky bun to-go, and they were underwhelming. Dined on the patio for lunch, and service was good. They had burrata toast as a special the day we were there. It was difficult to eat with the plastic cutlery that was provided (likely due to COVID). Otherwise, the food was very delicious.
Amazing and welcoming atmosphere. Staff were friendly and courteous. We ordered two dishes: extra fine breakfast and veggie sandwich with crispy potatoes. The extra fine breakfast dish was good. The veggie sandwich was ok-ok, plain. Did not expect the egg in it. I thought I did order the wrong dish—thought it was breakfast sandwich. I was told it was veggie. I would suggest to list for both sandwiches. Crispy potatoes were really delicious. We will surely come back for a different dish.
Nice little coffee shop in a walkable neighborhood. Had some very good americanos and a yogurt parfait. Two sandwiches and chips to go. Nice indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Only downsides were that the service was a little slow and the prices were a tad high.

Nice morning to grab a coffee and a bite and enjoy it outside. The blueberry yuzu muffin was fantastic and filling, as was the gluten free lemon cake. Looking forward to trying more of their pastries. Coffee and tea was good, but took entirely too long. The place wasn't that busy, but it took a while for them to bring it out.

I’ve been a regular customer because the food is consistently good and we love the sourdough, but the service has become unacceptable. During my last visit, the girl with the green hair was blatantly rude and unprofessional. If she can’t manage basic courtesy toward customers, she’s in the wrong line of work. This kind of treatment is inexcusable, and I won’t be coming back. Lastly, the sourdough was burnt. What a shame.
