The overall ambiance is warm toned with a splash of pop. The music is rather loud, i found myself having to talk over it. The menu is very very long! Which is not a bad thing, because there's something for everyone. We did visit in September, so we had the opportunity to try their world famous pumpkin cheesecake. The cheesecake lives up to the expectations. We will return!

We went back to the Cheesecake Factory after not having been in a very long time. I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone’s plate looked great. I had the Miso Salmon which I would highly recommend. The sauce was awesome. We all had cheesecake to finish which was also amazing.

Our party (4) was quoted a 30-minute wait time; however, we were not seated for approximately one hour and had to check in multiple times for updates. After being seated, it was an additional 40 minutes before our food was served. Based on wait time accuracy, kitchen throughput, and food quality — which lacked flavor — this visit would have otherwise reflected a 1-star experience, and we would be unlikely to return for the menu alone. That said, our server, Gabriel, delivered an exceptional level of service that significantly changed the overall experience. He was professional, courteous, patient, and highly attentive. He demonstrated strong operational knowledge, accurately remembered our orders, and maintained a calm, service-focused demeanor despite extended delays. Operational opportunities for management consideration: -Improve accuracy and transparency of quoted wait times. -Strengthen host stand communication and guest follow-up processes. -Evaluate kitchen efficiency and food quality consistency. -Enhance coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations. Gabriel exemplifies customer-centered service and brand representation. While he is an outstanding server, his experience, situational awareness, and process mindset suggest potential value in roles focused on customer experience or operational improvement — a strategic priority for many organizations in 2026. I initially considered leaving a 1-star review; however, Gabriel’s professionalism and human-centered service warranted a 5-star rating. His impact was that significant. Retaining and developing team members like Gabriel should be a priority.

The orange chicken and rice were amazing. Super flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had a large party (15) and the waiter was amazing at handling our table.

We love shopping at the shops at La Cantera; especially with Palenque Grill at La Cantera! Have been 5 times and have always had an amazing experience. Staff are very professional, friendly and attentive. So clean. Atmosphere is very pleasant; I feel welcomed and comfortable every time . Food is absolutely superb. My fave is sirloin tacos and chicken mole!! Fresh salsa, and delicious lemonade. But for dessert… oh my goodness THE TRES LECHES is sooo delicious 🤤 If you have not tried this restaurant; you are definitely missing out. May god continue to bless this business. 🙏🏼🫶🏼

I hope San Antonio realizes how lucky they are to have one of the few branches of this restaurant. Very great Mexican caballero faire! The wait staff is so spot on it’s scary. Our waiter had a party table of 20 and 4 other tables and just nailed that baseball out of da park!!!! You can’t go wrong here. The food is always top notch.

Had a positive experience at Palenque Grill!! We ordered the sirloin tacos and the Chicken Fajitas. They were both delicious. I was impressed that the food that came out actually looked like the photos in the menu. The tortillas were a little burn and thin just the way I like them. The chips /salsa and beans were good. Overall all the food and sides were fresh and great. The top shelf margarita was good as well. Our waiter was excellent and attentive. The music wasn’t loud and the atmosphere was great and appealing. Our waiter gave us a complimentary Flan. I’m not a fan of it, but tried it anyway. I have to admit it was pretty tasty. I liked the drizzled caramel. I’m already looking forward to going back to try their brunch.

The food here was amazing. No shortage on flavorful. Their chips and salsa are the best. Very fresh and delicious. The street corn and street tacos is what we ordered and they were some of the best that I've had in the San Antonio area. The wait staff was very attentive and worry 10 out of 10. Diego, the manager on duty was top notch, made sure consistently that we were doing good and that the food came out as expected and that the staff was meeting all needs. By far will be a customer for life Thank you Diego and staff for taking care of my family and me.

Secondly, all the authentic Mexican dishes my family had (and I’m mexican so I would know) tasted incredible! We came yesterday and had aguas frescas, margaritas, enchiladas, chipotle chicken, tacos, queso, and everything was amazing. So great we came back a second time tonight while we were still in town. The live singer was elegant, atmosphere welcoming. Patio comfortable, ate flan, tres leches, churros, and the delicious Elote dish. Good view of Six Flags’ fireworks too.

This was my first time visiting La Cantera Mall in San Antonio. We decided to stop for a bite to eat at The Cheesecake Factory and almost left since the wait time was so long. We were in for a spectacular evening since we were seated outside on the Friday after Christmas. We had the best seats in the house for the fireworks show! Our food was delicious and our server was attentive without being overbearing. The only negative, that I'm still trying to understand, is regarding the restrooms. This restaurant seated a large number of people and, yet, there were only 2 stalls in both the men & women's facilities. Even if you're only going in to wash your hands, you shouldn't have to pass a line of people waiting to enter a stall just to use the sink.

The Cheesecake Factory is pretty consistent on service, food, and atmosphere. I brought my son for a Father Son day outing. He loved the bread and butter as did i. We ordered the 4 cheese pasta with chicken and the orange chicken. Both were great. For an appetizer we had the world famous (not sure really lolz) Buffalo Blast. Ughhhhhhh this are so delicious. Establishment was clean and fancy looking. We would definitely go back. We didn't get to order any Cheesecake due to the feast we had, had us feeling stuffed. Great experience! Went here for a birthday dinner. We had a reservation and were seated almost immediately. The food and service were on the spot, as always. Our food and drinks came out looking as good as they tasted. Shout out to our server, Taylor, for being very attentive and making dinner a great experience.

I called this morning to inquire about mariachis and was told they were available after 5pm monday through Friday and that you get birthday flan and a song upon request. I wanted to make a big deal for my dad's birthday and that seemed perfect soI made a reservation for my family at 5. Our server was very nice and the restaurant was beautiful. We received chips and bean dip as well as colorful salsas. Different! We ordered choriqueso as an appetizer which was flavorful but quickly became solid so not piping fresh when it came out. I ordered the chile en nogada special for september. The food was good but a bit cold for my tastes. The family fajitas with rib eye, shrimp wrapped in bacon and chile replleno was sizzling hot. It was a good value. Plenty of tortillas, guac, and sides to go around for my mom dad and sister who shared. Unfortunately the mariachis never came. Apparently I was misinformed. I wad very upset as I wouldn't have come at all to be frank. However as promised the staff sang to my dad , gave him a mariachi hat, and brought some caramel flan! There was even a photographer who took our photo. You can have a free copy but I liked them so much I ordered 3 at 12 dollars each. It was a nice experience but the food freshness and miscommunication about the mariachi are 2 points I would improve upon. Cannot stress how gorgeous and clean the restaurant was.

I really enjoy the vibe here! It’s spacious yet feels cozy, especially during the week. While I think some of the food prices are a bit high, the quality makes up for it. I tried the sirloin steak tacos, and the meat was cut in a surprising way—it wasn’t chopped! But it still tasted great. One little tip: the service could use some improvement. My water didn’t get refilled, and there were a few delays with the appetizers. I even had to get up to find my server on a quiet night since he was chatting in the kitchen! Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will definitely come back!

Wonderful place I definitely will be back again. Very cute Nice authentic upscale vibe. Server Benji was very awesome and very attentive. Drinks were delicious and well-balanced. Food was phenomenal. Only hiccup I have is I have a raw onion allergy and I asked for no onions anywhere on the plate. Of mine and my daughters unfortunately we still got onions. Luckily they were grilled so I just push them off onto another plate. Next time I’ll just reiterate better, everything else was wonderful.

Maybe it was an off night. Started off with water hitting my shoulder from a drip from ceiling. I told the hostess and she kinda just shrugged it off. I dont care about me but the floor was wet and from my experience you might want to mark the area off as it can be a slip hazard or a health hazard if it gets into a plate. The food is very very average, with the only differentiating factor is the location. I really feel this place has to work on sharpening its skills and refinement to make it worth the price. The corn tortillas were good the flour tortillas get hard very quickly. The drinks are a bit tacky and are better suited for any other place in San Antonio. I feel overall this place has a identity problem where they dont know whether they want to be a little more upscale or down to earth. Walked in and hostess was rude. Walked us to our table and didn’t say a word. We sat and waited for 10 minutes and no one helped us.

We never even got to find out if the food was good because, after more than an hour, we still hadn’t been served. We were seated at 2:07 p.m., well after the lunch rush, and around 3:15 p.m. the wrong food finally arrived. Since we both ordered the exact same dish, it should have been an easy order. Instead of apologizing, our server simply said, “Let me get the manager.” I wasn’t looking for a conversation, I just wanted to eat. The manager came over, said they’d rush the correct order, and we agreed, though we mentioned we were short on time. A few minutes later, they brought out a to-go bag, even though we never asked for takeout. After waiting that long, I wasn’t about to drive home with cold food. By then it felt like the waitress just wanted us to leave, probably because she realized the tip wasn’t going to be great. The manager didn’t seem to have a handle on the situation either. Overall, a disappointing experience and a poor example of how to run a restaurant. It is a nice bag, but not nice enough to make up for all the time that was wasted.

Im sorry but i was dissappointed with the food especially. For some reason the chicken enchiladas the meat was sort of difficult to chew and even enjoy. They change it and still, the chicken by itself was also disappointing. I had chicken enchalida in other places and the chicken was very easy to chew and to enjoy for its delicious texture and softness. The service was superb. The atmosphere great. Maybe next I'll try some other dish.
