Avis sur Amardeen Cafe San Diego
Amardeen is such a beautiful surprise. The food is incredibly close to authentic Lebanese cuisine — rich in flavor, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the familiarity and comfort of home in every dish, and the portions are generous, making the experience even more satisfying. The design has been remodeled and feels fresh, modern, and welcoming, giving the place a renewed energy. The Christmas music playing in the background adds a warm, festive touch that makes the whole experience even more special.
The chicken shawarma was exceptional. The chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned with all the traditional spices, and not at all dry. The garlic sauce was excellent, and the hot sauce had a delightful kick. I'd rate it 8.9 out of 10. The fries could have been better, but the outstanding customer service more than compensated. The employee who took my order was exceptionally friendly and kind.
A friend invited me for lunch a month ago. Since then I have been to Amardeen 3 times. The Meza selection is good and generous, enough to share for 3-4 persons. The sandwich wraps abd salads are very tasty. The Knefe dessert is authentic taste. The service is very good and friendly. The music is beautiful and fitting to the restaurant atmosphere and not too loud to interfere with conversations. The patio area is great with heaters.
The food is on the pricier side, but the quality is absolutely unmatched in the area. The portions are generous, leaving you satisfied without feeling shortchanged. The service was impressively speedy, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Amardeen for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.
This place is fantastic! My friends and I all agreed that it was the best lunch we've had in a long time. We couldn't stop raving about every single dish; everything was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is charming, and the service was excellent. Can't wait to be back!
Poked my head into a few restaurants in this area and was totally sold because of the menu and decor. While unassuming on the outside, it’s very fresh, modern and Middle Eastern vibes were such a mood! The menu was extensive and since I knew I wanted to try a few things I just got one of their Mezza platters - the perfect thing to order, could easily feed 3-4 adults and you get a taste of everything. Having lived in the Middle East, I have a very high standard for hummus, tahina, falafel etc. this was some of the best I’ve had in the states! Also ordered the baklava - not at all disappointed, actually so good. Service was great, Yulia was excellent! I had multiple drink refills without asking and an offer for one to go. She brought the exact amount of boxes I needed to take everything home… PLENTY of leftovers cause I was a solo diner.
My first time dining here for lunch and it was a really good experience. I got the Pistachio Chicken salad half-order (also added the Beef Shawarma) and I really liked it. The portion is very generous. We didn't have to wait long for food to come out. For dessert, Bird's Nest has the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Have had dinner several times with a friend and will order for take out. We always like to try a new appetizer when eating in. They have a quaint small patio to sit outside that is much more delightful than sitting inside. At night, they have small lights all around outside as well which is nice. I love the grilled chicken salad here! It is truly delicious and very refreshing to have. You can order it half or full size. I also enjoy drinking a glass of wine if dining in and their wine options never disappoint. The waiters sometimes may take a bit to come to you but others will also come by to see if anything is needed.
I recently dined at this family-owned Lebanese restaurant, and it was a nice experience. The service was prompt and friendly. The salads were freshly prepared and full of flavor. For vegetarians, there is a great selection, including delicious falafel, cheese and spinach samosas, and veggie pizza. Meat lovers will enjoy the BBQ combo, which includes well-seasoned kabobs, tender chicken, and ribs. They offer the famous Lebanese raw ground beef, but you need to request it a couple of days ahead. Also the desserts were authentic and absolutely delightful. This restaurant has been serving the community for 12 years, and with its recent remodel, it offers a refreshed and inviting atmosphere.
Nice and remodelled Lebanese restaurant with an outdoor and indoor seating. A wide variety of options the satisfy vegetarian and meat lovers. They served the food quickly and everything was delicious. If you order Falafel, make sure to get it over cooked a bit to make sure the inside is cooked. If you are craving Kuba Neaa ( the raw meat) you need to order it in advance. They accept walk in and reservations too.
I’m middle eastern and I would confidently say they have the best tabbouleh I have ever tasted. This restaurant feels very homey. Service was kinda average, I think the workers were a bit overworked as some of them didn’t have happy faces but everyone was nice still. We ordered ofc the tabbouleh, hummus shawarma and ouzi bryani. I would get the hummus without the shawarma cause the meat hid the taste of the hummus. The Bryani was average, it felt like the rice was kinda old and the meat was kinda tough but still tasted good. I would come back to try other items.
1st time here. Atmosphere was great- cozy intimate setting. I ordered what was essentially lentil soup. It came with a salad that has lettuce and tomato with some oil and seasoning on it aka no flavor. My pita bread was some flattened wheat dough that tasted like flour- not very good at all. My lentil soup tastes like something I would have made at home. Was it worth $19 not in my opinion. Here are the pics of my food and the menu with the name. Service was EXCELLENT!! Over all add flavor and offer utensils especially with soup- luckily I had a spoon.
