Craft beers are a favorite 😍. Getting some from breweries too far to travel at my local Bottlecraft store is a winner. I've even found a rare discounted Japanese Whisky there at a great price. Friendly and also they have a nice on Tap menu.
Very high quality shop in a great location. Beer selection is impressive, including European, wine and cider options are vast, and there’s even a cheese and meat case. Lots of other unique products to pair with all of their beverage options. A small selection of drafts but they’re all quality. Had a pint of Enegren Schwarzbier and grabbed a few Enegren cans. Staff are awesome, specifically the store manager who has a vast knowledge of everything available. Love the passion and the product.
I did a tasting “class” at the NP location and it was a lot of fun. Gene and Rachel offered accessible and digestible information and humor, and the beers and cheeses were great. Highly recommend!
one of the few businesses that still has a parklet?! lots of craft beers and decent wines to go or to drink with corkage fee.
Great selection of beers and wine.
Small shop with a nice curated selection of with e and beer. 6 taps, half and taster pours. Cheese counter in the back offering a couple of sampler plates and sandwiches.

I religiously go to Bottlecraft in North Park. The selection of craft beer is outstanding. They are connected with a cheese shop with excellent cheeses. Most of the day time you will find Gene working the Bottlecraft side. Gene is very knowledgeable and so humble. He gets to know the customers and treats them with much respect. I can't say enough for how much I love this spot. Before the pandemic, you could go have a beer on tap or pick a beer from one of the coolers to have them open and pour a glass for you. They recently started selling hard alcohol to take home. So that's a new wonderful addition. The most difficult part is parking. Depending on the time of day, it is very difficult to find parking. You may have to park a distance and walk. But other than that, this Bottlecraft is amazing!
Was trying to find a specific beer and a rec for beers I was buying as a gift. The cashier was super helpful and kind. Not only did she find the beer that I wanted (one 4-pack cold, one room temp) but she also made a recommendation and found the last cold 4-pack of it for me. They were all very well received by the recipient of these beers.
Friendly knowledgeable staff on all craft beer selection. Avaliable cold or room temp on the shelves. Categorized by styles for easy selection if you know what you're looking for. They will guide you in the right direction depending on your needs. In house taps for draft beer. Venissimo cheese served from the counter for in house for snacks. Say hi to Gene and Issac!
What an awesome place. Staff was super friendly. Jean (or gene) i applogize if i misspelled that but he was the most knowledgeable and friendly guy. Highly recommend if you hit the San Diego craft scene especially if you're limited for time. If i come back to the area I will definitely be back. Shoutout to North Park Beer Co. for the recommendation. Cheers 🍻
This place is great! They had a random obscure type of bitters we needed for our cocktail. Also the guy there was super helpful and recommended a pickle beer for me 🤠
A unique concept where not only is it a beer/liquor store but if you wish to buy the beer in the fridge and drink it on premise you pay a small corkage fee. This allowing you to try a variety of beer with a much lower price than the average bar while being able to take home said beer in a 4 or 6 pack. They also have a variety of cheese in the back and a sit down area tk relax and enjoy north park for what it truly is and feels like.

The best bottle shop in San Diego. Gene the manager is the a very knowledgable person about beer. He can speak Flemish! I have spent wayyy too much money here. But it’s one of my go to spots for a beer on tap, a nice wine, or a unique beer.

This place is a beer lover's paradise with a fantastic selection of brews to choose from. 🍺🌟 The customer service was top-notch, and the staff was super friendly and helpful, making the whole beer-hunting experience a breeze. 👏 They've got something for every taste bud here, from local craft beers to unique and hard-to-find brews from around the world. 🌎🍻 The ambiance is chill and relaxed, perfect for hanging out with friends or exploring new flavors solo. 🕺💃 they also have a nice selection of beer and wine on tap which we enjoy chilled drinks on the patio. Whether you're a beer connoisseur or just looking for a cool spot to unwind, Bottlecraft is the place to be! 🍻🏆
They have a good selection of beer craft and non craft, but it can get very pricey; they also have a little cheese shop where you can find cheese platters that you can eat there or take them home. I like it that you can drink your beer there for a small corkage fee.
Great selection of beers; nice selection of cheese, limited wine selection (mostly whites). Cheese sampling available prior to deciding on purchase. Ok service.

Eclectic mix of beer, wine & spirits. Hard to find offerings that range from Mexican Amargos to IPA's from Michigan, natural wines and Danish gin. The tasting aspect is great, with super interesting beers on tap. Truly a liquor store with so much more to offer. Don't pass it by without having a look.

This is the most expensive bottle shop in all of San Diego. They charge $8.25 for mediocre beers from California. I appreciate the long response from the manager, but I checked and this disappointing can was only $6.99 at San Diego Wine and Beer. I've posted the picture here to prove it. $1.25 isn't a big deal, but taking advantage of your customers on local beers isn't cool.
A plethora of beer choices and if you plan to drink outside there’s this cool thing that happens when you purchase everything. It’s called a “corkage fee” and I laughed so hard after seeing that on the bill. Cheers to funny fees!!

I'm a frequent consumer at BottleCraft. Variety of beers to choose from for any type of pallette. Great place!... However, This was my second visit to the North Park location and I (including the party we were with) got the vibe from the two dudes pouring beer that was way off with the norm you would expect from a friendly business. I'm not sure if it was because we were not frequents there but they were so stand offish and unfriendly. I get it, maybe they had a long week or they're struggling with something. I've never been treated with such a lack of courtesy. It felt like we were such an inconvenience to them. Naturally, I'm just one of those friendly and approachable individuals that will spark up a conversation with anyone but they weren't having it. All good, I get it but the nerve of serving me water after ordering my second glass of beer was a slap in the face. I just felt disrespected.

Their food was not impressive. I got the seasonal mussels dish and it was unappetizing. The potatoes were deep fried for too long and the bread was burnt. My mussels weren't meaty and some of the shells were empty. For the price you pay, it's not worth it. Pretty average customer service. Clean table/utensils. I wouldn't come back solely for the food. It looks like people are more drawn to the beer selection here.
