Ce que disent les clients de Caffe Italia
Caffe Italia is a cute cafe in Little Italy known for its delicious coffee, pastries, and breakfast options like the Little Italy and Venice Breakfast. The Iced Vietnamese Latte and desserts like tiramisu and creme brulee are highly recommended. Some find the seating limited and the service inconsistent.

Avis sur Caffe Italia San Diego
My fav cafe when visiting San Diego and a daily Go-to … their “regular” brewed coffee is one of the best anywhere and consistently excellent (I went daily for a week during my stay) and the service was excellent! Loved the avocado toast and loaded up on rugelach. Wanted to try everything on menu. Didn’t mind waiting in line, worth driving 10 min for parking… yes it’s that good.
Came here just to get a coffee fixed before heading to the Farmers market and it was really a hidden gem! Husband and friends all ended up getting the Iced Vietnamese Latte because it was that good! We ordered just one to try and it was so good that 2 others just ordered the same thing after that. Definitely recommend!
This place was delicious. Tried an Expresso based on their recommendation. 👍 The tiramisu and creme brulee were the best I've ever had (but I haven't had many)... ok they were among the best desserts I've ever had in my life ever!
My wife was wanting a cup of coffee and I wanted some gelato, the first time we went by the place they gave me a small gelato and my wife got her coffee, had to go back a second time we liked it so much, wasn’t disappointed, same friendly barista working the counter, really enjoyed it, look forward to returning.
Affordable, lots of indoor seating with big windows that open to the sidewalk. Limited seating on the sidewalk, shaded by a tree. Super friendly baristas and plenty of food options: paninis, toasts, breakfast options, salads, bagels, locally made gelato, cakes and pastries. Excellent cold brew and a delicious blended gelato drink called Orange Baba (strawberry gelato + OJ + whipped cream).
I stopped by this cafe today and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The food was def good, but the service was just so-so. One thing that kinda threw me off was that everything's to-go. That was a bit of a bummer. But the backyard is honestly really beautiful, and the whole vibe of the place is nice. If you're looking for a spot with a great outdoor space, this might be worth checking out.
Had the best experience here this past Sunday, super friendly staff. I had an iced matcha and it was great and my sister had an espresso that she enjoyed. Along with a bagel and their little Italy toast! The best part was the group of dogs we saw with the friendliest owners! 🥰 definitely worth the visit
Very nice small coffee place with some breakfast/lunch options. White mocha was good, I feel like it would be better sweeter but that’s my preference. Sadly it was crowded and hot inside, (got crowded right after the picture was taken) it’d be nice if the outdoor seating were available even in the rain.
First time in Little Italy and our experience was a pleasant little surprise. Our order was messed up pretty severely but upon informing the staff it was corrected. Admittedly, we did not try any coffee, but the sandwiches we did have were pretty good. We especially loved the outdoor courtyard which offered a nice eating environment.
Nice atmosphere with different seating options indoors and outdoors. Drinks were good: red velvet latte and the caffe emmline. Tiramisu was a little dry (lady fingers weren't soaked in coffee first). Overall would go again and it's right in the heart of Little Italy under the sign
Cafe Italia has a fantastic atmosphere (10/10) and friendly staff, but the execution falls short. My 12oz coffee order came as a 16oz to-go despite requesting for here. The egg and cheese panini with sundried tomatoes and pesto was disappointing - underseasoned, missing the pesto, and served on sad, squished bread. Great vibe, but the food and attention to detail need work.
This spot is located in the heart of Little Italy in San Diego and offers a variety of seating options: outside, inside, and in a charming back patio. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. However, I found the egg panini to be somewhat disappointing. It tasted bland, as if it were prepackaged, though I can't confirm if it actually was. As for the coffee, I prefer it black, and unfortunately, it was quite light and lacked a distinctive flavor. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were good, the food and coffee could use some improvement. My date was the best thing in Caffè Italia. Check out our airbnb cabin, link is in profile
I ordered a cappuccino and a carrot cake, as one of the reviews strongly recommended them. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The milk foam had large bubbles and lacked the tension needed to hold its shape, while the coffee itself tasted unpleasantly gritty, almost like biting into dirt. The carrot cake was extremely dry—to the point that I couldn’t take more than two bites without drinking water. The barista was friendly but not very attentive, and I wasn’t asked whether my order was for here or to go. Additionally, the restroom appeared to be shared among multiple stores and was quite unsanitary, which further detracted from the overall experience.
