Okay….. So here’s the rub as they say. Great spot. They were very helpful in creating an adventurous drink that I enjoyed. I don’t get boba very often as I’ve found that sometimes it’s not worth the hype, but it was on the better side. I found the staff to be helpful, the establishment was clean, and they had tables outside to enjoy the summer. Overall, I would say it’s best than most spots and I would actually come back. It’s in the corner of a little shopping center though meaning parking is tight.

I got the cookie butter milk tea and it is amazing! The drink tasted just like I expected and the workers there are very kind and polite. Overall it’s a welcoming atmosphere

Calitea has a huge selection of drinks that are all freshly prepared. Everything I have tried I have loved, especially the matcha milk tea with honey boba. This place has a great vibe with relaxed indoor and outdoor seating and the employees are always friendly. It is conveniently close to Fashion Valley and USD. I will be back again and again!
CaliTea is a fantastic option for Boba tea drinks here in mission Valley very good menu lots of options, the lady who took our order was very welcoming and helpful and the shop was immaculate, very clean and overall we were impressed. We definitely will come back soon

Unfortunately, the boba was hard and the drink tasted powdery. Was very surprised given these are the basics; not sure if it's an off-day, or if something else (please feel free to respond/comment!). Will try again down the line - would love to see y'all thrive!

My partner and I got two drinks from here. One tasted like watered coffee and the other like straight up milk. Cute but flavor was lacking and was still expensive.

The build your own tea comes with hidden charges… it’s not really $5.60 as they do charge you .40 cents extra for any of the flavors you choose on step 3. But it does taste like quality tea/ ingredients are used.

Staff is nice, but they’re SO slow. Every time I’ve gotten a drink it takes them at least 10- 15 min to make, and way longer If there are people in front of you. Also, this time they ran out of boba .. told me this after i already waited for 15 min on my drink after checking back multiple times. Should have come out and told me once they realized instead of checking for myself. Not a great experience.
