I remember watching this cafe being built from my office window. I've been conducting meetings and having coffees and lunches here since opening day. The atmosphere is amazing, the cafe and it's sister platform across the pond, cantilever over the manmade pond at Sunroad Business Park. Check out my included photos of before it existed. My only complaint is they typically have to let the food run out as the day progresses, so the later you go, the fewer items to choose from. But aside from that, they offer a nice variety of food and beverage choices. The have wonderful cold brews, coffees, juices, salads, acai bowls, sandwiches and pastries. It's a relaxing hang here, come check it out!

This café is close to a rock garden and a small waterfall, and there’s also a pond. The environment is really nice.

Highly recommend checking this place out!! Nice place to journal and relax, catch up with a friend, or do some remote work. Tons of seating. Awesome views between the pond and “waterfalls.” Açaí bowl was a good size and delicious. Fun vibes as it gets busier closer to lunch time.

tried this place for the first time the other day and really enjoyed it! i got the banana pudding matcha & the pesto egg sandwich and would definitely get both again. luis took our order, and he was so nice. the area is beautiful, food is good, and customer service is great. can’t wait to come back!

What a hidden gem. I LOVE this place. Decided it was time for a coffee break with my coworker today and googled some close spots - wanted to try something other than the usual. It was only about a mile from work and was such a unique, quiet and relaxing place to go for a little coffee break. They had a great selection and I look forward to trying more on their menu.

Love this cargo cafe. Very nice outdoor space and Wi-Fi connectivity to work around their beautiful space with the waterfall and pine trees. Coffees and açai bowls are Yum Yum as well !!

Was looking for a coffee shop after exploring Torrey Pines and saw the great reviews so had to stop by! I believe it’s in a corporate campus so you have to grab a ticket to park but they’ll validate for an hour! Such a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the mini waterfall with some delicious coffee. We ordered the caramel and sea salt cold brew and it was delicious. The foam is creamy and the perfect balance between sweet and salty which compliments the cold brew. Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing something and enjoying the scenery.

The Cargo Cafe is my favorite cafe in San Diego! Not only are the drinks, smoothies, and food excellent, Luis is a one-of-a-kind manager. I feel like I can call him my friend, as he goes beyond mere pleasantries and shows an authentic interest in his customers, remembering some of the most important aspects of their lives as he asks how we’re doing, usually beginning his sentence with “amigo.” I haven’t even mentioned the serene environment! It’s a fantastic experience all around.

The manager at this establishment consistently demonstrates exceptional friendliness and provides unparalleled customer service. His positive demeanor consistently elevates my mood whenever I receive my coffee. Notably, he consistently produces the finest cup of coffee!

The drinks seem very well crafted and the Matcha Coco Cold Foam was super delicious and had nice coconut fragrances! The atmosphere here is so good because of the outdoor patio and little pond and waterfall by the cafe. Perfect to do work and there is also wifi and parking validation.

My bf asked staff if they could change it for another drink & they said they couldn't, which we said fine and ended throwing it away. Very nice place but maybe skip the lattes.

Beautiful location! Unfortunately mobile orders are prepped then left behind the counter and waiting bystanders are ignored, just to find out your $10 smoothie may not have seen a blade when the whole slimy banana slops through the lid at once.
