Wow! I was completely surprised by how delicious my Lasagna Pizza was. The flavor profile is unlike anything I've ever had before (including Italy). And they even have gluten free dough. I find their prices to be extremely reasonable considering the size and quality of unique ingredients. Wish they had a storefront so I could go every day! I writing a review that is long overdue! Last summer we needed a caterer for our daughter's graduation. We wanted a pizza oven brought onsite and the first place I called was very dismissive. When I reached out to Criscito Pizza I was delighted by the response. Prior to the event we worked with Phil who could not have been more accommodating and reassuring. He really made me feel like an important customer (as opposed to an inconvenience which was how the first place treated my request). At the actual event, there were two people (I think?; it could have been three?) making the pizzas and running them to the backyard where they had set up buffet tables. First off, these young people were so professional and helpful. They set up a beautiful display with pizzas (all labeled) and salad. They made new pizzas as needed and replenished them without being asked. Plus my gluten free guests were SO delighted with the care and attention paid to their needs. All this and I haven't even mentioned the pizza which was FABULOUS! No lie, it was so good. Everyone raved. (Especially about the Honey Garlic pizza; that one was a particular favorite!) Needless to say I highly recommend them.

We ordered the White pizza and added chicken, and also ordered the Lasagna pizza. Both pizzas were very good but I think the lasagna was my favorite. The restaurant is clean and neat with plenty of seating both inside and out. The staff is very friendly and greater us when we came in. This is the type of place you order at the counter and they bring you the food. The pop/ soft drinks are coke products and they a serve you cans and not fountain drinks. They also have 5 gelato flavors that look great but I didn’t try them this time. Great place and I would definitely put it on your list to visit.

We had an amazing experience with Criscito Pizza at our wedding! They were easy to work with, very professional, and even showed up early to get everything set up and ready to go. Our guests absolutely loved the pizza, especially watching it being wood-fired right in the parking lot — it was such a fun and unique touch to the evening. We kept getting so many compliments about the food throughout the night! Highly recommend Criscito Pizza for any event, delicious pizza, great team, and top-notch service!

Great pizza and gelato! We had stumbled across this place and are so glad we did! It's now our favorite pizza spot. The Neopolitan-style crust is sooo good! It so soft, delicious, and wonderful every time. The service is awesome, too. They're so friendly and welcoming. And the place has such a chill atmosphere with Italian coast vibes. It's like an Italian vacation spot in San Diego, so relaxing. The Neopolitan-style crust and pizza cheeses are SO good, especially their ricotta! The ricotta is sweet and fluffy. I've never experienced it anywhere. It makes the pizza extra delicious. And the basil on top is a great touch, so good too. The pizza goes especially great with the San Pelligrino limonata. And if you're looking for dessert, the gelato is so refreshing. They change their flavors every so often to give new options to try. Love everything about this place!

If you love Neapolitan pizza - the soft thin dough, the puffy crust with its polite char - then this spot is for you. There are so many options on the menu for flavor combinations that everyone will eat happy. We ordered take-out, and drove the pizzas 10-minutes to home. The crusts, both NY and Neapolitan style, made it home, out of the boxes and into our bellies without a single critique. We loved the white pizza, margherita, lasagna and pepperoni, and they have a cheese option for kids that our preschooler devoured. Our star? The chop salad! Of all the items, which we loved, the most unexpected was just how good the chop salad is. The quality ingredients do not stop at the pizza, and the dressing for this one I’ll be dreaming about how to recreate when we’re back home in Canada. Criscito’s neighbors are so lucky!

What a great pizza place for the neighborhood. I got a mushroom truffle NY style pizza and Neapolitan style Pizza and it’s so good. I like the Neapolitan style more bc it’s so chewy and light. I highly recommend this place and I will be back to try other flavors

Great pizza. They specialize in two types of doughs: NY style and Neapolitan. Both are amazing, but the NY style crust does hold up a bit better in the pizza box. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. Overall very good pizza! They also serve gelato, although I've yet to try it.

Criscito Pizza is hands down the best pizza and gelato spot in San Diego! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported straight to the Amalfi Coast – the atmosphere is cozy, authentic, and full of charm. The pizza is absolutely incredible. Criscito has mastered the Neapolitan style crust and uses high-quality ingredients bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the honey, basil, garlic pizza. I’ve never had anything like it and now it's a constant craving! The pizza, salad, gelato, and service are all 10/10!!! If you're in SD and you’re craving authentic Italian pizza and gelato, Criscito is a must-visit!

I'm a huge fan of Criscitos!! They catered my wedding about a year ago before opening this restaurant so I knew I had to check it out! The restaurant is beautiful and everything tastes delicious just as it did when we got their catering. Their menu is fresh and inventive, and their staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered the fig and honey pizza, it was incredible! I would say 1 pizza feeds 2 people. They also have gelato and it's superb!! We got the berry with mini chocolate chips. I would highly recommend Criscitos for their catering as well as their restaurant!

Love the pizza! Criscito is catering our wedding this fall so we’ve tried the pizza but had to come and check out the new spot! So good. Can’t really go wrong with any of the pizzas. We got the Calabrian and the San Diegan this time! Also the Caesar salad was awesome! See you in October!

We were so excited to try this restaurant out after visiting their food truck a few times. The pizza here is spectacular and fresh, easily comparable to some of our favorites from a recent trip to Italy. We made the trip down from Escondido for their pizza and will definitely be back!

I went to a 40th birthday party And this pizza was being catered. It was so good! It was so impressionable and memorable, when my twins had their first birthday party, I HAD to book them!!! And they delivered superb service & pizza! They literally bring a wood pizza oven to your house & fire out the pizzas like clock work. So many of my guests complimented the pizza. I highly recommend for a catering event. I have not been to the restaurant yet, I am in PB. But I need to make it there, because I am still dreaming of this pizza lol

I had the carbonara, Margherita, and lasagne pizza slices and all were amazing. They were also super prepared and kept the pizzas flowing throughout the event. Id hire them again in a heartbeat!

Very tasty Neapolitan and New York style pizzas. Honey Basil Garlic, Fig & Goat Cheese, and NYC cheese are fun to eat. Even the gluten-free pizzas are enjoyable.

The pizzas are delicious! The dough is really good. Great ingredients, great variety in the menu, good prices. The service is really friendly. It would be great if they had condiments like red pepper flakes on every table.

Had the roasted salad which was fresh, tasty and well balanced! Knocking one star because there's a bit of a bottleneck when ordering and having food during lunch, so be prepared for a long wait to order and eat.

The pizza sauce was bland, no Italian seasoning. The crust was good but overall the pizza was terrible. The roasted vegetable salad had boiled carrots and beets. When I told the manager that the beets weren't roasted he shrugged as if he didn't understand what I was saying. This place was highly recommended by a friend from NY but this New Yorker won't return. Very disappointing.
