Great service and amazing homemade pizza. The dough is exceptional. Super delicious and I appreciate the price and quality. Definitely will be back.
Quaint little place with awesome pizza. Owner was very friendly. I had the meat lovers. I would eat here again.
Definitely delectable pizzas and subs here! Everything, from the bread to the fillings, is homemade and incredibly tasty. A complete treasure indeed!
Really enjoyed our food! The pizza (we got the Greek one) was excellent with good crust, and the salad was great. Our out-of-town relatives also commented on how great the quality was. Looking forward to trying the various other items on the menu! Seems like a great family-run business that my partner and I are happy to have found near us
I have to say as somebody who worked restaurants and gone to culinary school this pizza and their boneless chicken are amazing you have to eat at this place and the service was amazing it was a godsend to have food delivered and I could pay cash and they were so quick and friendly I wish I could have given it more than five stars!
I found this place on google and I’m so glad I tried it! I called in my order and the gentleman who answered the phone was so friendly and polite, I had a special delivery instruction and they were followed perfectly by the delivery driver who was also very friendly, I should not have been surprised by how perfect my pizza was! Delicious and perfect! I was so pleased I had to call and let them know, I will be getting all my pizza cravings filled here from now on!
My entire experience with Peppoli's has been wonderful! The person who took our order over the phone was so polite and pleasant, and the delivery guy was just as polite. We ordered the managers special and a Greek salad. The pepperoni pizza was amazing and cheesy plus the sauce was delicious. I never had a Greek salad before tonight but let me tell you their salad is now my new favorite salad ever there was so much feta cheese and fresh veggies. We forgot to ask for sauce and it was still provided. Overall we will be eating here again and I highly recommend the food!
I didn't try the food. I had just gotten off the freeway, frustrated and tired from the heavy traffic. And I walked in and asked if they had customer restroom, as I was ready to buy something to use the restroom. The gentleman who came out from the back, I imagine busy making pizzas, was warm, kind, and let me use the restroom, no strings attached. APPRECIATE IT!
Delicious food and amazing service. The staffs was patient and really professional. I will be back soon
Excellent food and I’ll definitely be back. Wonderful staff/owners and a terrific value. Enough variety on the menu to suit anyone. Carry-out was so easy! I could definitely eat here more than once a week!
absolutely the best pizzas I've had from over 40 US States and at a great price. We had a large pepperoni & pepperocini pizza and a large buffalo chicken pizza with a side of breadsticks.
The best pizza real mozzarella cheese
Best Philly cheese steak I've had. never been to Philly. so can't compare. but it does beat some well known Philly cheese steak places around San Diego including the one at Horton plaza. I live in Texas now, but when I go to San Diego, that's one off my list. calzones are awesome too.
Very good food at an affordable price. I eat here at least twice a week. I absolutely enjoy the philly cheese steak. But you can't go wrong with whatever you order. Highly recommend.
good place with parking front , has also got deals for food
Food was amazing , always coming here for quality food and drinks !!
I visit here every now and then and this is probably the closest thing you’re going to get to New York style pizza. It’s not blame cheese it’s a well cooked crushed it has decent flavor.
Absolutely delicious pizza and subs! Homemade bread, homemade everything! So, so good! Total gem!!

Only one way to say .... DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS!! I ordered a pizza, antipasto salad, and two cakes, Pepsi. The next day, I wanted to order another pizza extra cheese and pepperoni again. But have to wait. Their delivery is prompt, prices are fair, driver is very kind came all the way to Bayview Heights. Thank you, guys
Pizza was delicious! We got half chicken, half veggie and everything tasted freshly made. The 28 inch was enough to feed a party of 13 :) def recommend this spot if you’re looking for some good pizza and good deals.
Peppoli’s is one of those neighborhood spots you try once and instantly know you’ll be back. Their pizza hits the perfect balance—crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, with toppings that actually taste fresh and generous. Whether it’s a classic pepperoni or something loaded like their combo, every slice feels like real, old-school pizza shop quality. But the sleeper favorite here is the Philly steak. It’s legit—tender meat, plenty of flavor, and the right amount of cheese that melts into every bite. The bread holds up perfectly without being too heavy, and it’s easily one of the best Philly sandwiches you can find in San Diego without hunting for it. The staff is friendly, the portions are solid, and the prices are fair for the quality you get. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch, feeding the family, or just craving a late-night slice, Peppoli’s consistently delivers.
Dining at this restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish. The ambience struck the perfect balance between elegant and cozy, making it ideal for both a special occasion and a relaxed evening out. The service was impeccable, our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely seem to enjoy making our experience enjoyable. Now, for the food it was simply outstanding. Each dish we ordered was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the chef's creativity shunned through in every bite. From the perfectly cooked appetizer to the decadent dessert, every course was a testament to culinary excellence. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful vegetarian options available, which were just as inventive and delicious as the meat dishes. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the pacing of the meal was just right. We left feeling perfectly satisfied and already planning our next visit. This restaurant is a true gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the Best Pizza & Philly Steaks in Town! Peppoli’s never disappoints! The pizza is always fresh, loaded with flavor, and has the perfect crust. Their Philly steaks are hands down the best I’ve had — juicy, cheesy, and cooked just right. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a family dinner, this is our go-to spot. Highly recommend Peppoli’s if you love real, quality food done right! Frans Abbo
Everything about this place is fire!!! The cheese sticks, the sauce is blazing full of flavor and the dough is cooked really well. This is about to be my new favorite goto spot. The service is spectacular, the lady there was so nice, I think her name is Baydaa. Such a sweet person, thats what pizza is all about....people! ❤️
I don't know how the place looks like but the food is very delicious everything has flavor 😋
Great little local spot with tasty pizza and sandwiches and very friendly staff!
Great service! Great food! Highly recommend!
First time ordering and trying it out I definitely like the food, taste fresh and made from scratch. Ordered some garlic sticks they and wow that tomato sauce to dip it in was really delicious.assuming that’s the sauce they use for spaghetti I’m gonna order a spaghetti next time for sure. I’m definitely looking forward to trying some new food from here. I loved everything and can’t wait to try some new things. I will be calling back for sure

They make a good gyro- healthy portions! Most of the menu is under $15 & alot of plates include fries & a salad! That being said- I haven't tried the pizza because the prices are on the high side & the toppings are on the low side.
I love the family that own and run Peppoli's. I have been ordering food from them for years. Today I had the cheeseburger with onion rings and both where good. The cheeseburger was thick and well cooked. I get the family dinners sometimes and the pasta is very good. If you need to feed alot of people, order the 28 inch pizza. It tastes great and is inexpensive.
I've tried their pizzas (pepperoni, veggie, BBQ chicken, and cheese), all extremely tasty. Their pasta/ravioli is great as well. My favorite is the cheese calzone that comes with marinara. They seem to have pizza making down pat. Prices are very reasonable compared the the generic big chain pizzas. Decor is very homely, nothing to really write about. I always order takeout since I live nearby, the only time service was not so great was when it was extremely busy in the restaurant and neither the person taking my order nor I could hear each other very well. My order still came out as I wanted though.
I came in between breakfast and lunch. They were still making breakfast sandwiches so I had a 12" Bacon, Egg, and cheese. It was tasty! Lots of Bacon. Nice seasoning. And the bread was awesome. I will come back and try other stuff for sure.

Got a lasanga that was decent, nothing to write home about. The garlic bread that came with it was horrible, tasted like pam spray with parsley or oregano flakes. Not very authentic, I doubt real italians own this place. Probably wont go back unless its to try the pizza, cheese steak. 🤷
I decided to check this place out it’s close and reminds me of the spots you would find in the Philly suburbs Pizza in San Diego is really hit or miss in San Diego to start with so to be fair this is pretty consistent with the area Dough is a Sysco product I’m pretty sure. They have a big industrial mixer so I was hoping for local dough. Maybe the mixer was down ? It was cooked completely and correctly the cheese was fresh and of above standard quality so I know they do care about the end product. Not greasy either another big win especially for a pepperoni pizza which when paired with cheap cheese becomes a greasy mess. Again shows they know how to properly make pizza. Although the crust didn’t have the cracker snap I like for 14 bucks on a 14’ pie it’s a win. Didn’t leave me feeling bloated after a couple slices. I think this place makes their cash on takeout, although they had ample seating it lacked the basics you would expect to find on a table peppers/ parm/ oregano. Also no plates or silverware or trash can. Kinda odd. The place it self is a gem though great seats 2 TVs it could be a great go to spot for a quick lunch. The menu is massive Greek food, fish n chips , subs , even a philly cheesesteak no offense but I just don’t trust a cheesesteak outside Philly been burned to many times. I think if they went with an original dough and put together a really banging wing and hummus app they could ditch everything but the pizza and subs and the place would be swinging all the time. 3.75 stars above average with big potential
I use to go there often. When the older women works it taste like it's made with love. Yesterday I went and there was a younger girl There. The pizza was over cooked and tasted like it was cooked with dirty hands and on dirty pans.
My order was spaghettis lol not sure why, I was just craving something homey, anyway the food here ,like most places I visit was disappointing, I don't think these companies no about seasoning, cause that's definitely lacking, try some it won't help, they have alot of low sodium options out there.. Ohhh the lady at the counter was a sweetheart and the young lady was too, I had got some complimentary boneless chicken pops which was juicy and decently seasoned. Other than that I haven't went back to try anything else, I may see what is speaks to me on the menu, just to see if it's me or the places im going to in .S.D....

I eat too much pizza, and I'd honestly take Little Caesar's over this pizza. It was incredibly underwhelming. The person working was really great and very polite. The pricing is all over the place. I got a 14" pepperoni by ordering online for "5% off" which came out to just over $15. The sign inside says $9.99+$1.50 for each topping. The sign in the window says 14" pepperoni for $6.99 carry out. Definitely felt like I was ripped off, and the pizza wasn't good to top it off. Are one slice and drove to in n out.
Ordered online. I live next door, so I’m literally 2 minutes away. I walk in and no one acknowledges me for almost 10 minutes.... when someone finally comes to the front I give my order information and he walks off and I wait for another 5 minutes. He brings my food- and it’s cold .... not even warm. I’ve been standing there for 15 minutes and I’m presented with cold food. He reheats my pizza the manager insists that I was late and that’s why my wings were cold as well....(I was told my order would be ready at 7:35 I got there at 7:32 and I was ignored for 15 minutes) I just take my food and go as his tone was extremely rude. I get home the pizza was good ... wings were garlic Parmesan (garlic powder and Parmesan cheese) dry dry dry!!! and bland. 2 stars for the pizza. Wouldn’t recommend.
Took over 15 minutes for two slices of pizza. I even tipped before I got the pizza. Waited five more minutes and ask for my money back. Horrible service and I really wanted to try to pizza which sucked for me
Ordered there lemon pepper wings had ordered them in the past and liked them. 10 minutes later they cooked the wings to tell me they don't have the lemon pepper mix 10 minutes later I will say again. So they offer other flavors but I'm not interested I only like lemon pepper I change to gyro meal it was the same price I tried to make it somewhat easier for them when I could of just asked for my money back which I should of. They were not happy I changed the order even though they waited ten minutes to tell me they didn't have what I wanted as if it was my fault and not theirs because they cooked the wings so they made the gyro special it made me sick long story shorter. Customer service sucks you should know if you are out of something if you are selling it other establishments know. I wish I could give them no stars go to the taco shop next door to them they have respect and do good business and their food is great.
I used to come here often. I paid full price for a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich... I show up and they tell me they have no avocados- guy charges me full price still, so I ask for a slice of pizza at a discounted price then to make up for the avocado issue and he tries to take off 30 cents. THIRTY CENTS. I'm done coming here. They've already raised their prices a bunch from the past and now the service is just not acceptable to my liking!
I would give this place no stars if i could. We decided to give this place a try this past weekending since we received coupons in the mail and it looked pretty good. Worst experience ever! Food showed up 20 minutes late (after being told it would be there in 45-60 minutes). Pizza was cold and food was not even good - it had no flavor to the point we gave it to the dog to eat (no joke). And to top that off, our order was also incomplete. I called them and complained and they took another 20 minutes to supposedly bring me the item that I was missing and that food was cold (it was supposed to be a hot sandwich). They also forgot another item that they were supposed to bring. We called and complained again and expected some kind of compensation and all we were told was "oh sorry" and there was nothing they could do. DO NOT TRY THEM! A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
I had tried this place in the past and was not impressed by the lack of flavor and lack of effort. Today I decided to try the place one more time and order a pepperoni pizza as well as pasta. Yet again I was disappointed. The sauce on the pasta tastes like it was used from a can of generic Prego and was topped off with a thick piece of cheese to mask the store bought taste. The pizza also tasted store bought and had a lack of flavor. I was hoping for a small pizza joint that the flavors would be original and full of flavor. I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you are desperate for food and have no other options.
I wish I could give 0 stars !! Horrible customer services. I called and ordered an Italian sub over the phone on my way home from work which is ten minutes away in hillcrest. The person on the phone was rude asking me “well when are you coming?” I gave them my time estimate which was ten minutes. I arrived there and my food was not ready no problem for me I can wait ten more minutes. I received my Italian sub HOT with melted cheese . It does not specify on there website or their menu that their subs come hot .I am not used to any sandwich ever being made hot unless it being stated on the menu or website or being asked if I want my sandwich toasted. I returned inside of the establishment and very politely asked if I could receive another sandwich and would like it cold. The man who made my sandwich then came from the back and TOLD ME that it’s my fault and all of their sandwiches come hot. I explained to him it does not say that anywhere on their menu online or inside of the store. I then asked for a refund and he refused to give me a refund. He then took my sandwich and placed the HOT MEAT AND CHEESE into a cold bun. Please learn the meaning of customer service. I gave my sandwich to a homeless man at 7-Eleven I didn’t trust it ! stop advertising fake Italian sandwiches and who puts mini pepperonis on an Italian sub ?
Ordered some pizza and wings to a toal of $43. They charged $53 instead and that didn't include the $5 tip and when I called to complain that they overcharged, they guy said it wasn't their fault and I had to call customer service. Obviously this place lacks REAL customer service. Luckily American Express fixes fraudulent charges. The food was NOT even worth $43 anyways. Never again!
This place is garbage. I've ate here many times because it is close to my home, but after my visit tonight, I will never be coming back. The food here is just okay. The pizza is subpar, everything is edible but nothing noteworthy. I called in an order and came to pick it up this evening and when I arrived, there was a gentleman in front of me that was picking up his food and they handed everything to him. Then I had to wait while the guy took multiple calls because apparently my order wasn't important enough. After waiting until he was taking new orders, he tells me the guy who was in front of me stole my food, even though he handed it directly to him. I told them it was their mistake and that I wasn't going to pay to wait for them to make my food all over again. I tripped on a 'wet floor' sign that was blocking the doorway on my way out and some jackass I never seen working there before came outside and tried to start a fight with me because I tripped over it. It shouldn't have been blocking the entrance in the first place. This establishment seriously needs to learn proper customer service. The fact that the guy came out to fight me over it just blows it over the top and ensures that I will no longer patronize their restaurant. Go to Chicken Sam's inside of My Market across the parking lot instead. They don't have pizza or subs, but their chicken is far superior and their sides are much cheaper and better quality than Pizzoli's. If you live nearby and you want pizza, order delivery. With Amazon Restaurants, Grub Hub, Postmates, Uber Eats, etc., there is no logical reason to order from such an overpriced eatery that is so mediocre in quality.
I ordered Lemon Pepper wings for the first time at this location. The presentation was horrible, and the food was worse. Wings tasted like they threw salt on old wings and charged me 15.00.

Lady up front was kind of annoyed she had to take my order. Then after 25 minutes i got handed what was essentially just cheesey bread with pepperoni, no pizza sauce whatsoever. For just 15 dollars you can have pizza comparable to 7/11's which sucks since their competitor is right across the street. Also their bathroom looks like somewhere you'd wake up without a kidney in. Long story short this pizza sucks if you're expecting pizza, but pretty decent if you want cheese bread
