I was down in San Diego for business and decided to check this place out. I love it's overall and the karaoke was a bonus. Security guy was really cool

Awesome local bar that hosts karaoke Thursday through Sunday nights. Good drinks for good price. No food served here generally but Los Palmitos is right next door (pretty awesome Mex food).

Fun place! A little tight, but there's a big stage for karaoke, which was fun. The bathroom was clean, and the drinks were good.

My first time ever karaoke, and this dive bar rocks thank you Sarah jazzy If only there were food, but I had so much fun I recommend everyone try it

We only had a bag of chips, but the service was the best. Had a mom and pop feel. The bartender was the best we've had in a looooong time. He comes equiped with the best jokes. We came into town for the weekend and so glad we stopped by this lil bar. The other patrons were extremely friendly. If you're in town make a point to stop by.

The Bartenders are nice and everyone makes you feel at home there. They have 2 pool tables and it has a home town bar feel. The people who sing on the nights that I have been there are some very talented singers. Remember to tip the karaoke hostess and the bartenders.

The bar staff make this place. They are all excellent at remembering their guests and making them feel at home. They have karaoke and free pool nights, which are very popular. But the best part is Rick the bartender. He always has a funny joke and really goes above and beyond in making people comfortable. Don't be afraid to come solo, he will introduce you to everyone sitting near and if he's not busy he takes time to get to know you. They don't have a big selection of food items to purchase so they let you bring in food. I highly recommend a visit to Peter D's.

Great place. The regulars are very friendly and welcoming. The drinks are priced right and they have karoake Thursday thru Monday... with a stage! The KJ on Thursday thru Sunday likes to sing WAY too much and jumps in on songs uninvited. Very annoying! So I wait til Mondays to sing. However, the wait isn't long because good singers tend to stay away on those days. Mondays are great though with a fun mix of Karoake and Comedy!

Karaoke was fun and the dj was super nice. Small bar but drinks here are priced reasonably. So many bars in San Diego want to charge $14+ for just one mild cocktail.. I went on a Sunday night and it was super affordable. It did take a minute to get the bar tender’s attention, but she was really friendly and made great drinks once I did. I’m not sure if they have food items here or not

Went in today had a few drinks and a bag of chips cool little dive bar the bartender Jazzy was great made the drinks right and fast! I’ve been in here before when another lady was working she was older with blonde hair she was rude and slow at getting drinks made kept going outside and leaving the bar with no staff inside for 10-15 minutes at a time other customers had to go outside and get her absolutely horrible bartender and made us almost not want to come back glad we came back to try again we asked Jazzy what shifts she works and will be back to visit her again!

Family atmosphere. Rick and the rest of the staff are great and wanna know your name. Can get a little claustrophobic, but if you aren't comfortable being around people, stay home.

If you love the warm atmosphere of a Grunge bar with down to earth staff who are polite and care about you, by an all means go. Honest drinks and karaoke at least on Friday and Saturday, 2 fun pool tables. I make a point to visit when I am in town

Not that great, just an average locals bar. Monday night used to be a good one for the $7.99 Steak Night though! Have not been there in awhile as I have found other "late night" interests. Also, trying to start my own business has taken me away from the "late night vibe".

Great local, very reasonably-priced bar with two pool tables (gratis Sundays). Very friendly local patrons and staff who enjoy karaoke nights, Sundays and Thursdays, every week. Great place to meet some new people in the neighborhood!

This is one of the best places I've sang karaoke at in San Diego since the 90s. Not the best sound system (Poway has so far been that), but definitely the host and the bar staff are always so supportive of anyone trying to sing their heart and soul out, no matter if they are all the chart pros, or armatures in the making. Everyone who sings there are extremely genuine people, especially the amazing 4 octave (I lost track at 3 so I'm not to be quoted on that) bouncer who can memorize more jazz lyrics than a seasoned Vegas show man. I'm really glad I learned about this little gem of a spot, before I moved away to another country for 13 years again only to find it is good like Dietrich's Coffees and Heidi's Fogen-Yozurts (my main hang out of concert venues I would perform at in the 90s, NOT HEIDI'S Silly).

This place was awesome. Came in here randomly looking for a quick drink. Wound up staying for a few hours to play poopand and watch the karaoke singers. Shoutout to chill ass bartenders, Matt and Josh! great bartenders, great pours, great atmosphere.

I live in Laguna Niguel, but i go here whenever im in SD. I love to sing karaoke, its a neighborhood bar, nothing fancy believe me, but the drinks are honest and everyone I meet is a good, polite person. Pool yes , but dancing, sadly, no.

I'm a fan of the music on Thursday and Saturday, as the hostess really make singers feel at home. This is a great bar to break the new singer jitters. The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star is the absence of happy hour snacks, although they do well to provide them during important weekend gamedays.

Nice lil dive bar. The bartender was cool. The lil vending machine took my coins 3 times. Thought I learn the first time 😂. Anyway, drinks are at a good price.

Dive bar but very lively. All different kinds of people go there and everyone is super nice. The bar staff is also good! Pool, karaoke and the music makes this place just down right cool to hang out in.

It's pretty funny when people start singing there, place could use some updating, but not bad, definitely won't be disappointed with your hard beverages because they come with some bite to them, and that in my book is great..so go check it out for yourself..🤘

Try it out if you’re bored and curious. If you can’t handle bizarreness and odd, persistent smells, best to steer clear.

Great atmosphere, Jazzy is the bartender some nights and she's great, The New KJ though... Eh... Basically she'll sing every rotation, skip you if someone gives her 10 bucks to sing, even if you've been there the whole night and the person just got there. Really just makes you feel unimportant as a patron (why bother coming in and waiting your turn when I could just show up and screw everyone else?). She'll even sing the last song of the night, just to rub it in your face that you got skipped. Who does that? The bar is already a dive, you don't have to make the one reason to go there also a bad experience. If you want a better crowd, and a fair KJ, go to Carriage House. They'll treat you right, let you sing, and the bar isn't super small. The KJs there don't sing every rotation (if at all) and they won't make you wait until the end of the night to let you know you're not going to come up again. Just ruined my whole night KNOWINGLY and honestly didn't care. Might as well let everyone know.
