Great spot to play pool! They have 3 tables, attentive bartenders and servers, and the patrons are all welcoming. It does get packed on the weekends and parking is usually tough but that’s more of a Bishops Art District thing, not so much a Social Club issue.
Wife and I came in on a Saturday afternoon to shoot some pool. A little dark inside but the bartenders made the atmosphere welcoming. One with the beard made us a badass espresso martini. Would definitely come back. Cool spot to get some drinks and chill 👍
Chloe is literally the best!!! Want to visit a good bar with bomb bartenders? This is the place! 10/10 recommend!

Ana is such a sweet person and is so welcoming. She had so many suggestions on drinks and helped me figure out what I needed. She was the highlight of the night and food was great.
Man I've been coming here for about 4_5 years! I started coming for the pool and always come back for the bartenders! Chloe is ultimately the best when it come to different drinks and Azenet is the best with customer service!! I love it here and I don't wanna go nowhere else
Great dive bar! Great drinks at great prices. Cool staff and pool.
I love this place. It’s so fun the new management is great. Super chill vibes.
I been coming here for years and the crowd has definitely changed. It’s less rowdy. The prices are little high but so is everything. It’s the times we’re living in. The bartenders are amazing! The only thing I wish they would make changes to is update the jukebox. When I say it’s limited… it’s LIMITED. I still love this bar & would recommend it to anybody.
Fun environment to relax and have a drink… Gives me Oak Cliffs “Cheers” kind of vibe. Definitely recommend for a girls night out or any social outing… Ana is super sweet and friendly, very attentive to detail on your drinks. Even got my Oaxaca old fashion on point.. Will always recommend
Every time I come here everyone is supper nice! We had the very best paleta shots by Ariana and Chloe they are amazing bar tenders. With the most humble attitudes. It's always a good time when you are able to talk and communicate with people who don't even know you!
Ariana is so attentive and personable she is the reason we frequent here. Fast, friendly, and welcoming!! We will return Because of her!
Great time! Bartender I think named Pedro was so nice and made the best drinks for my wife and I. Would recommend all come back on nights he works. Really personable & friendly. Will be back!

Man where do I start? I stumbled into the bar looking for a nice chill dive and let me tell you I found exactly what I was looking for. Anna Leny and Chloe made me feel like family after my first visit. They know me on a first name basis and make me feel so welcome each time I come in. I also wanna mention how comfortable I feel being here as a woman who sometimes comes alone. I love this bar and will absolutely keep returning as long as they’re there.
So this place is interesting in that if you come in for a drink during the hours of 1-7 it’s a very nice place to have one (though some of the drinks can be strangely expensive, and also the whole non itemized receipts thing) but from 8 to closing time you’re risking it. I feel bad for the residents living in the apartments across because that patio gets way too out of control. I guess what I’m saying is OCSC is good for a couple of drinks but I would maybe avoid getting drunk here.

The social club is great. Bar is great. Drinks are well priced and good. Ambiance is great but there are some flaws. On the Saturday that I went there with some friends, they had the absolute worst DJ. We gave song recommendations and he never played them. The DJ was an older middle aged man, definitely not with the times. If the music was better this bar would definitely have 5 stars. Maybe it is different in other nights, but tonight the DJ made me and my friends leave the bar.
First and LAST time going to this place. We came for a few drinks on Saturday 8/9 around 11pm and the female waitress was extremely rude. She snapped her fingers at us and made a gesture for us to hurry up and give her our card to tab out. I have never left a $0.00 tip in my life until this day.
I was really disappointed with my experience at this bar. A fight broke out, and the so-called "bouncer" did absolutely nothing to stop it. It felt unsafe, and the lack of security was concerning. On top of that, people leaving the bar drunk were speeding through local streets, making it dangerous for pedestrians and residents. This place seriously needs better security and more responsibility when it comes to handling rowdy guests. Someone is going to get hurt if they don’t get things under control.
I went here last night with my boyfriends and his friends after watching the super bowl they wanted to get more drinks and while waiting for the drinks a friend offered food that was on the table( my mistake) grabbing a slice of pizza a plate of fries fell and mind you I’m a little passed being buzzed so I wasn’t aware they fell, a guy that claimed to be security( wasn’t dressed like it) started yelling and cussing at me to pick the plate up so I asked him why he was giving so much attitude and if he had told me nicely I would’ve picked it up but another lady popped up out of nowhere also yelling. We got kicked out for that. So unprofessional we are customers that are drinking because it’s a bar! I feel like they could’ve handled the situation differently. Knowing the environment that we’re in it’s their job to talk to drunk people in the right way to not escalate situations. First and last time I go here.
The principle is simple: patrons should remain indoors after 10:30–11:00 p.m., especially in venues near residential areas, where noise ordinances apply to both businesses and residents alike. This cannot be a one-sided compromise. Owners should consider the math—multiple residents paying $2,000 a month have far more influence than a single business paying $8–10K in rent. A persistent issue as avoidable as noise from lingering patrons can easily lead to formal complaints—and ultimately, a shutdown. Would hate to see it, but it's called taking responsibility.
Wow. I'll never be back. No itemized receipts and when I asked why my tax was $18 for 2 Deep Ellum IPA's, I was told the beers were $9 a piece. What?!?!?! For a Deep Ellum IPA??? I go to local bars in East Dallas and a Deep Ellum IPA is $4 tops. Really shady that you don't get an itemized receipt. Plus pool is $1.25 per game. Crazy. Won't be returning
This place used to be good, but went over the weekend and was charged $8 for well drink with less than an ounce of vodka in it. 7 months ago this was a great Oak Cliff bar for locals, now the staff turn over is bad and just a rip off. If you are not the regular customer they will rip you off. a year ago I would have given them 5 stars now they are not even worth 1
