The owner of the Railyard is a great human being, and the Railyard is a great bar. Closest thing to the bar from Cheers in Houston. We really enjoyed the Georgie's Paper Crane. It's a well-balanced drink with excellent presentation.

Came to this hidden bar the other day and it was super fun. They have games for everyone to enjoy, their music is diverse and they have a full bar. The environment is chill. The place is a decent size and there is plenty of room to sit inside and outside.

Great selection of Whisky & local Beer, pretty chill place, no food but well served Drinks, it’s definitely a decent Dive bar that you know only the locals know about. SALUD!🍺

Good bar location and nice setup inside and a outside patio too. Went on a Saturday evening, good music and decent selection of drinks. The 2 bar tenders though are very very slow. They could definitely use some help or need to find another gear. There's no food.

Somewhere between a local hip hang and dive bar, The Railyard is an appropriately named spot that’s adjacent to the train tracks. Every time the train goes by, you can get shot special from the friendly barkeep. A great local spot to chill in a laid back atmosphere.

I really enjoyed it here. It has a Whisky bar feel to it. I truly enjoyed the patio with friends. We ordered food and had some great cocktails. My Manhattan was perfectly blended, they have good Whisky selection. I'll enjoy hanging out there again.

Fun bar with basketball hoop available inside for a dollar. Parking on site and it was not crowded at all when I visited.

Fun little bar with a good sized patio and a few cool arcade games. Get in line for the 4 player pac-man. Worth it. MTV Classic is playing on the TV, which pleases the older millennial in me. Kind of wish the indoor restaurant-style tables and chairs were comfy couches instead. Although, this would be a fun place to hold a board gaming meetup.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3.5 stars) Came here one night with a group of friends and was honestly surprised by how many games and activities they have. There are arcade games and even a basketball game, which ended up getting pretty competitive and fun. It’s a very small space, but it works well for groups. That said, the drink prices felt a bit high for what is essentially a dive bar, even considering the River Oaks area. I also wouldn’t recommend this spot for a date at all. This is not date-night energy. It’s much better suited for groups who just want to grab a drink, play some games, and keep it casual. We had a good time, even randomly ran into an Olympic basketball player while there, which added to the experience. There wasn’t live music or anything like that, so it’s not an “event” bar, just a hangout spot. Overall, it’s a solid middle-of-the-road dive bar. Better with friends than solo or on a date.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The bartender working on the night of the 18th was the absolute worst. He was completely rude to my fiancé and I from walking in to the very end and I will never be returning. For the location I would never go there. Do not recommend under any circumstances.

Heavy-set pregnant bartender can be very rude and loud. She will also lie and may attempt to psychologically manipulate you. I got sick one night and cleaned everything up myself. Without even being asked to I took the trash out and wiped everything in the bathroom and never got a word of thanks from this ungrateful employee. I have seen several fights break out here. Response to OWNER: I was not asked to leave, nor was I told that I was “cut off, on the evening surrounding having been ill, as I was not intoxicated. Despite your personal attack against me, my experiences regarding your employee were the case in my dealings with your employee. She also wasn’t the only unfriendly/rude employee I dealt with at your bar. The fact that I may have been asked to leave the bar on one occasion surrounding being told one or more lies and having been the recipient of manipulative behavior on the part of your employee does not negate my experiences in dealing with that employee. The fact that you are attacking me rather than trying to learn more about what actually occurred should tell the readers all they need to know about ownership of this bar.
