The food could be a little hotter, but it's delicious!
We arrived at this place by mistake because they have a name and logo very similar to the competition. Since we were already there, we decided to try it. The waitress's attitude was very rude from the start. The carnitas weren't very tasty either; they were too salty. In the end, they were overcharging us on the bill, and we had trouble correcting it because the waitress wouldn't accept the mistake. I don't usually write negative reviews about places I don't like, but I think it's necessary in this case so the owner can improve on the details, since more than the food, the service is very important.
A terrible experience, not recommended at all. The price is the least of it; the carnitas are reheated and taste awful. Definitely not recommended. And the worst part is that we found out they overcharged us. If you go, pay attention to the scale because they'll charge you for a full kilo for half a kilo.
I used my lunch break from work to eat here, and honestly, it wasn't worth it. I ordered a mixed taco, and they told me they only have pork tacos. They said I could take a tray of meat, which was $300 per kilo, and I could choose, but that was way too much for me. I ordered the large taco for $50, and honestly, it wasn't that big. I finished my taco, grabbed a tray, and took half a kilo of meat to make my own mixed taco, and the surprise was that they serve it cold, as do the tortillas. Of course, I'll come back in the future, but only to confirm that today was just a bad day, hoping for better luck. Thanks.
