Avis sur Bahn Mi & Boba San Francisco
This is seriously the best milk tea I've had in San Francisco, and the staff is super nice. And travelers, if you're used to Asian milk tea, I recommend trying it with 30% sweetness.
Sandwiches are a happy place. B&B popped up on my IG feed a few months back and I saved the post but lost it. Fast fwd to a coworker bringing a bulgogi Bahn mi to work. I could have tried it then but I wanted my own full experience and to show support for this creation. You ever had a Bahn Mi as big as a deli sandwich? You ever wanted bulgogi on your Bahn Mi? When you first enter you’re welcomed with smiles and a good vibe. I would suggest pre ordering as there has to be a line at times. You’re hit with a menu board and tons of options both sandwiches and drinks. I chose the Bulgogi Bahn Mi, sandwhich was huge! The beef was so tender and hefty. Guaranteed to fill you up . The pickled veggies were fresh and well flavored. The bread! Soft but has a light crunch. Washed it all down with a Mango Green Tea Bobba. Not too sweet and also tasted fresh. Top two Banh Mi spotting the city imo!
Great spot for boba and Banh Mi sandwiches. Parking can be a trouble but expected in San Francisco. The food and drinks are all good, decent price and brought out quickly. The staff is nice and welcoming. Overall, a great place to pick up some quick grub.
The Dac Biet special combo was my favorite sandwich. The chicken was really good too. The bread was flaky without being hard or too crispy. The interior of the bread was light and fluffy. The pate on the Dac biet reminded me of the style from Vietnam. The Tiger tea was amazing! I will definitely be back.
The boba drinks at this spot are expertly crafted. I consistently choose the real Taro with mochi and it never disappoints—it’s truly exceptional. However, the Bánh Mìs are the real stars here; they absolutely steal the show. The perfect combination of pâté, choice protein, and fresh daikon, carrots, and cucumber, all served on a flawlessly toasted baguette, creates an unforgettable experience. My only wish is for a Fairfield location. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant; it's well worth your time.
Best banh mi I’ve had in the city!! Way better than the big chains. Bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the 5 spice chicken and loved it. Next time I will go back for the beef bulgogi, sounded amazing. I also had the jasmine milk tea with boba and thought it was very good. Too sweet for me but next time I will ask for it without sweetness.
Super friendly staff, amazing sandwiches, and delicious boba. Sandwiches are around $10 and boba is about $5 and they’re both so worth the price. The sandwiches are packed with fresh, flavorful meat and veggies on high quality bread. The Black Milk Tea with Honey Boba has a strong, bitter tea but the sweet boba balances out the drink. They also let me take my sandwich to-go in my own container.
We were visiting my sister in SF and have some time to kill. So we decided to grab some snack and drink. My daughter Yelp this place, so we give it a try. Holy moly!! The sandwiches were delicious!!!! They tasted so fresh !! It actually tasted like street vendors in Vietnam. Very authentic!!! The drinks were good too. 👍👍
I love love love Ube so when I heard B&B had a Ube+Taro drink I had to try it. It's as good as I expected when the buttery taste of ube and slight hint of Taro. I've tried their VN coffee as well and that's also 💣 so far I've yet to try their sandwiches but from what I see it looks fresh. Staff is super friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their drinks 😋
Great banh mi place with a good drinks selection. I've gotten several of their sandwiches but prefer their slow roasted pork one! Their ice coffee is quite strong too.

It takes an exceptional banh mi to lure me away from Saigon Sandwich, and this is that banh mi. The special combo and pork belly are both phenomenal.
One of my favorite banh mi shops in the city!! Albert is always so friendly and the sandwiches are consiently delicious🔥 If you're in the area please stop by this local gem!
I’ve been going to this spot for years. Amazing sandwiches and great boba. It’s a tiny storefront but it’s a great place to take out and eat in GG park which is just a 5 minute walk away.
One of the best hole in the wall Banh Mi spots I have encountered in SF locally owned. Great owner, greeted me and my friends with a smile every time I come by. I am definitely a regular here now!!
Very high quality banh mi. And the teas are so good — you really taste the tea!
Don't let a small place deceive you! Our family was looking for a boba place right after Dance in the Park, and found this spot. We got boba drinks and found them all very refreshing. We got Lychee Love and Fuzzy Peach. Albert, the owner, is super friendly. Grateful to have found this spot and will go back if we find ourselves in the city again.

i got the bulgogi Bahn mi and matcha latte and both were delicious and worth every penny!! the person helping, I think it was the owner im not sure tho, was a sweetheart clearly loves that place and you can taste it in the food, very well kept lil hole in the wall ,, perfect for a meal post study session at the library!! wish I knew it was here when I lived closer
This is one of the more filling and worthwhile banh mi shops you'll find the city. It's sometimes difficult to find proper French roll but the chew and crunch was just right. The fillings are extremely generous and tasty – we tried the five spice chicken, special combo and tofu. The staff is beyond friendly and the small storefront is very clean. If I had one small criticism, it's that I wish the shredded carrots and daikon were pickled a bit more. A little acid would have further elevated these already delicious sandwiches.
A good bahn mi is hard to find in the Sunset, in my opinion. My regular spots have changed and just don't taste as good. The menu not only bahn mi’s for meat and non-meat eaters as well as rice bowls too. And if you need something to wash it all down with, get yourself a boba and/or fruit tea. Since this was my first visit, I ordered the 5-spiced chicken and the bulgogi beef. Generous portions of meat served in a fresh roll. Overall delicious sandwiches and I have return a couple of time. It is a small store front, so standing room inside is limited and there are a couple of stools for inside seating, while waiting for your sandwich. The owner/staff is very friendly. Support your local business and check it out!
Cute little new boba spot that opened a few months ago. I mean, it’s really little. They have bar seating for maybe 4 people. The sandwiches are fully loaded. The drinks are good too. Staff are really nice and accommodating.
The workers were so communicative. They let us know that our order was going to take a while because of how many orders they were trying to complete and asked if that was okay before taking our order. Well… why wouldn’t we be ok with that! It’s a hole in the wall that we always drive past and see crowds of people waiting for outside. Surely, we settled for a b&b combo and a bulgogi beef sandwich, as the owner seemed enthusiastic about his craft for those sammies when recommending us some options. We also got tempted and ordered the lychee love and the jazzy mango with some free boba topping, courtesy of Yelp check-in. Though sandwiches were a little on the more expensive side, our tummies were stuffed and taste buds were satisfied. Would recommend both b&b combo and the bulgogi beef sandwich because both were packed with meats/veggies and tastes fresh/flavorful. However, for the drinks, I would skip the fruit teas and maybe try a milk tea instead? The fruit teas were nothing special and seem to just use syrup with no actual fruit bits either. Now, you’ve read me rambling enough, go try this hole in the wall for your own!

The service is phenomenal, very nice and very quick. I got my food and drink within 6 minutes (one quarter of meter parking). The sandwich itself was not bad, I liked the pate most of all but it wasn’t anything special for $10.50. But I ordered the Hong Kong milk tea and it was so watery, it had a slight aftertaste of tea and milk but honestly, it just tasted like water. Very disappointed in paying $5.50 for that

I ordered a veggie banh mi today and the bread was good and crispy but the tofu wasn’t crispy at all, it was SUPER rubbery and bland. They don’t fry tofu by the order, the tofu is already fried and they just reheat it in an oven which causes it to lose crispiness and becomes chewy like rubber, also it was difficult to eat since the tofu comes in big cubes. I would recommend to cut the tofu the same way you cut the cucumber( long way) so that way the tofu will go along with the shape of the bread better. Another thing I really did not like and thought was lacking of good hygiene and very unprofessional was that the girl who works at the front was talking the whole time with her coworker or owner while she was making my food. I myself work in a restaurant and that is something we take very seriously. Unless you have something necessary to communicate with a coworker you should minimize personal conversation while customers are present, firstly out of respect for your customers and more importantly because when you talk you could spit on their food accidentally, especially if you don’t wear a mask (which is fine to me) it’s not very hygienic behavior when you work in the food industry. I’ve order from this place before and the food was pretty good. I am not just trying to only be critical but just wanted to offer some constructive criticism. I would’ve given more than 2 stars but the hygiene issue is a big one for me, that being said, I would give them another chance.
Beef taste average with mostly Cucumber (30%) inside the Banh Mi instead of meat for $15 after Tax 🥖 Nah, I don't think so !
