Avis sur Estrellita's Snacks San Francisco
Angel is the kindest and most courteous host we have ever had. The food is fresh and delicious, there are vegan options, complimentary coffee that’s so good you don’t need cream or sugar, the agua frescas are incredibly good and the place is clean, cozy and calm. We love this place and would absolutely recommend it!
Came to SF craving a taste of home… ended up falling in love with Estrellita’s Snacks. 🥣 Sopa de Res? Soul therapy. 🫓 Pupusas (pork & cheese, baby) porque aunque soy lactose intolerant, I’m never love intolerant. Shout out to su hijo, who took our order with pura carisma, and la nuera in the kitchen bringing that pasión to every bite. 🌟🇸🇻💋
delicious pupusas, pork and cheese was excellent. it takes about 10 min to come out, but they’re cooking it per order so you’re getting it hot and fresh, well worth the wait!
Well the tamales are great, and big! The salsa is a prefect compliment to the tamale. Gotta come back and try those pupusas next time.
Excellent place. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

Really good papusas! Get the ones with the loroco flowers in them. These guys just opened this store on the Tenderloin. They also can be found at the Alemany Farmer’s market (which is where I first tried them). Very friendly staff! Shout out to Angel!
Estrellita's is the best part of living in the Tenderloin. The papusas are perfection. A+ to everything these folks deserve to our business.
Best pupusas in the city! When I get that pupusa craving, I go to Estrelitta's at the Heart of the City Farmers Market at UN Plaza. The line/wait can be long, to time your lunch accordingly. I heard you can call it in, but it's best to order in person. And order in cash. They do take credit cards for a fee though. I've had just about every pupusa, minus the beef ones. My two favorites are the mushroom and cheese, and the spinach and cheese. The mushroom pupusa has a really that earthy, savory taste, and the spinach one is cooked perfectly. Sometimes cooked spinach has a weird taste, at least to me, but not in this pupusa. There is a choice of mild or spicy salsa. There is limited seating at this farmers market, so it's best to get your order to go.
What delicious pupusas! And La Cocina’s space is really great too. Shared Estrellita’s and the Algerian place next door with my partner - a veritable schmorgasbord!
Friendly service and tasty, home cooked flavors served in a relaxed atmosphere. I wandered in here after seeing the food images on Google and I was glad i did. A variety of dishes to fill large appetites are available, as well as smaller, individual items to try on their own. The dough used in the tamales was remarkably fluffy, moist, and light
OMG, I just got out of a doctor's appointment and wanted something to eat for lunch and I of course I love pupusa. Till I looked it up on the phone it wasn't too far away, it's not the greatest district, but it's the best I have had l in a long time. Place was clean the papusa were large, stuffed and absolutely delicious. They delivered them to my car cuz I was parked outside and didn't want to get a ticket, cherry on top ,How awesome is that!
The pupusas are some of the best I’ve had in a long time! And the fried plantains were glorious. The service was so kind and welcoming — I look forward to coming back!
Best pupusas in town, but don’t sleep in other items like the tamales I love their chicken tamal, every Christmas we order a tray lol, dnd the frijoles and plátanos con crema are incredible too, plus the staff is super friendly!
Angel our host was so warm and welcoming! (Cute too) The pupusas were super tasty, full, it honestly had the perfect masa to filling ratio. Everything was JUST right. If you’re looking for top tier pupusas and a calm environment you have to come check this place out!! 10/10.
This place is incredible! We had 3 pupusas: the mix, mushroom and cheese, and the breakfast pupusa. They were each so delicious and clearly made with great ingredients. We were a little worried about the location but things were pretty chill around 3pm on a Friday so we parked outside and ate inside the bright and airy space. Would 1000% come back, especially to try their mole and tamales!
New pupusa spot serving up quality food including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The pupusas have some unique flavors and the masa quality is great. It's a family run mom-and-pop shop that just opened a few weeks ago so be patient with them please. The breakfast platter was delicious and so were pupusas, I think I played it a little too safe because I remember their specials are actually delicious so don't be afraid to be adventurous with the menu . Looking forward to seeing them grow.
The service is phenomenal and the food is amazing. We had the pupusa plates with zucchini, beef, and pork and we loved all of them. I had the passionfruit agua fresca and will be returning for more!
I regularly bought from these folks at the farmer’s market so imagine my excitement when they opened a restaurant. Food is fantastic, service is warm. We loved the pork, bean and cheese pupusas as well as the chicken mole. Great passion fruit agua fresca and coffee is free. Very happy to support this business.

Delicious pupusas! We had several different kinds and our favorite was the pork, bean and cheese. The horchata was a little sweeter than we are used to, but still good.

Good food and service, though $6 for a pupusa seems a little pricey. Also its worth notong that its inside the La Cocina Marketplace. There's no outside side that could see. A little confusing for us out- of - towners.
