5/5 Stars - Fantastic Find! Amazing cafe with incredible sandwiches! The bread was always fresh, and the fillings were generous and delicious. But what really stood out was the excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this place!
Wow! Just wow the serving are huuuuge (with potus) voice. Visited the places with my buddies yesterday based on recommendations from one of them. The quality and amount of food are just exceedingly high than you would expect from a casual sandwich shop. If you are new to the city and/or hadn’t tried this spot. Would highly recommend! Can’t go wrong with chicken steak sandwiche and fries.
Had the Italian and it was great - piled high with a good balance of meats and veggies. I always want to stop here after visiting the Exploratorium but they aren't open on the weekends - finally had a chance on a weekday and I will definitely be back next time I'm nearby. Their menu has quite a few options I'd like to try.
MUST TRY if you're thinking of going here. My review won't do this place justice. Ordered $100 worth of food and every item was better than the next. Cheese steak with peppers is good to eat hot or a to-go item to eat later, all the juice sits for awhile and gets absorbed by the bread, chefs kiss. Gentlemen sub is also great. Subs are a good size and can be shared between two people. Do yourself a favor and go here....
Five stars all the way! My wife and three year old baby girl are in from San Diego. We saw this Sandwich spot and couldn't be any more happier that we stopped! Thank you Wally for all the kindness, we will be back tomorrow!
Visiting from LA, I have to say.. The French Toast is FIREEEEEE!!!! For 10 bucks, you can sub the berries for the fluffiest scrambled eggs you've ever had in your LIFE. The homemade syrup is just the cherry on top. This was the only picture I could take, BECAUSE I ATE IT ALL!! 🤣🤣🤣 I would have eaten this 5 days straight if I could have, but 2 outta 5 isn't bad. Thanks, Gambinos! I WILL BE BACK!!! 🫡
I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap. It's was excellent. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant seemed very clean. Would definitely come here again.
Highly recommended the sub of cheese steak great deal price vs quality and the service is pretty fast

If you’re a bagel lover in San Francisco, this place is an absolute must-visit! Honestly, it was one of the best bagels I’ve ever tasted – perfectly baked, with a great texture and flavor. The portions are generous, and the fillings are consistent and satisfying in every bite. There’s a wide variety of bagel options, so whether you like it classic or more creative, you’ll find your favorite. The service was excellent- fast, super attentive, and genuinely warm. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless, which adds to the overall experience. You can tell there’s a strong recurring clientele, and for good reason. We had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, a wonderful and welcoming man, who made us feel like old friends. On our second visit, he even surprised us with fresh orange juice on the house – such a thoughtful gesture! We’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend you don’t hesitate either — you might just taste the best bagel of your life in this SF gem! 5/5 for sure!!!
Grabbed a Chipotle Turkey sub and it was insanely delicious. Super fresh, loaded with flavor, and just the right amount of kick. Chatted with the owner too. Good vibes all around. This place has been doing it right for 30 years, and you can taste why.
Absolutely the best place for a sandwich in SF. Doesn't matter which place you go to all 3 locations are awsome and everything is delicious hot and fresh.
Fantastic east coast deli! I’ve been searching for a place to fill the East Coast Italian Deli hole in my heart, and this is it. Phenomenal and authentic chicken parm sandwich and generous portions. I’ll be back for sure!
Best cheesesteak sub I’ve ever had! They lean into veggies, flavor, and customization. Can’t wait to go back!
This is a family owned deli that makes delicious sandwiches! I called late in the afternoon for a 29 sandwich order for a business event. The owner Mo and his dad were more than happy to have them ready for me. Nothing but love and great sandwiches from this family owned deli - the Italian sandwich on a crusted roll was killer!
We were on a field trip, we had 20 hungry teenagers. The staff were amazing! They were able to accommodate us, they cooked delicious sandwiches with great flavor and fresh ingredients promptly. I Highly recommend this location, their service was great!
Got the reuben to go. Best sandwich I've ever tried. It's sloppy, generous w the meat.
Great sandwich shop! The portions are big and everything tastes super fresh. Staff was really friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Walked in for a quick coffee. Energy was great, was pleasantly patient with taking my order. Overall great vibes.

Finally found a place that gets fairly close to a sub you can get on the east coast. Overall pretty good. Tuna was tasty and the cheese was good. Hard Italian roll wasn’t exactly like the hard Italian ones you can get in NY and NJ, but pretty darn close. Staff was a little flustered by the crowds, but still friendly. Will absolutely be back.

I don’t know, I'm local and I really wanted to like this place... heard a lot of good things.... I ordered through the DoorDash app and arrived 15 minutes after my order was estimated to be ready. They never received my order, so they had to make it on the spot. I kindly asked if I could get a little extra pastrami on my reuben to make up for the delayed pickup. What can I say.... the portion of pastrami on this reuben is blasphemous. Try serving this in NY and see what kind of response you'd get from people. Overall, a decidedly average sandwich. The greek salad and macaroni salad side dishes were good, though When I unwrapped my takeout order and took a bite, I tried to call them, but the number listed goes directly to a fax machine. I called the other location and they were incredibly rude to me, saying they didn't have time to deal with my order and didn't have a good number for the location on Battery street. Overall, not the best way to spend 40 minutes and 40 bucks
