Happened to be in the Marina trying to find a place to watch the World Series, and was thrilled to have come into Jake’s. Amazing sandwich (the garlic was a nice twist on the Philly classic!) and even better vibes. Junior, the guy working the bar, was super friendly, conversational, and made sure my glass was never empty. Will be back the next time I’m in the Marina again.

This place changed me. I had the original Philly cheese steak with Cheez wiz. OMG, that's how it is supposed to be!!! I can never put provolone on a cheese steak again! These sandwiches are sooo good, that I ate 4 of them in 3 days. No lie. They are that addictive. The restaurant is quaint and lively. Cold draft beer and Football! Really a great place to hang out. The staff is attentive and prompt. I've eaten cheese steaks in TX and in MO, since eating at Jake's Steaks (still trying to feed that addiction) and they aren't even in the same league. Job well done guys! I sure am missing you...

The food tastes incredible. The staff is incredibly friendly, personable, and genuine. They prioritize making sure their guests have the best time possible. Love their commitment. My favorite cheesesteak shop on the planet and one of my favorite places to eat in San Francisco.

Great food! Great fun! Awesome atmosphere. Awesome service! 1st time here watching the Phillies with hubby & friends. It's such a fun place to hang out and watch a game. Food is so good!

First time in San Fran and have to say I enjoyed eating at Jake's Steaks. The atmosphere gave football and vibes. The Philly cheese steak was delicious paired good with the waffle fries. The service was great Jake made us feel welcomed and answered every question I had no matter what it was lol What can I say Im curious 😅 😂 Ill visit again soon.

This is home away from home for any Eagles fan, but also just a fantastic place where there’s great food basically at any time you could be hungry. Would recommend getting the Philly cheesesteak! Waffles fries are prime though 🫡

I hang out here from time to time just to chill out, kill a few emails, get out of the house for a walk, stop for a beer, have a nice chat with Victor and Chef Mario. ln the middle of a place that has the buzz of a popular takeout place - which means an interesting people watching place!

Amazing teriyaki burger with grilled pineapple from a cheesesteak spot! Juicy patty, sweet-savory glaze, and the pineapple adds the perfect touch. Staff (JR and victor) was super friendly and welcoming—great food, great vibes!

This was the best cheese steak I’ve ever had! The atmosphere was great and the owner was SO friendly. Made sure we were taken care of and happy. They have a kiosk for ordering or you can do so in person which is nice. Get the curly fries!

Went on a quiet Monday night for takeaway. Junior made my Jake’s cheesesteak with lettuce wrap. I half-expected the whole thing to be a soggy mess but I found the whole thing wrapped firmly, no more mess than the normal cheesesteak sandwich. The steak was flavourful, a tad bit salty but still good, especially well balanced by the layers lettuce wrapped around it. Really enjoyed it overall! Thought it better than the one I tried in Philly 😅

Fly Eagles Fly! 🦅 Heavy cheese and steak. Original Philly with hot peppers hit the spot. Good bar vibes with sandos. If you’re looking for a cheesesteak I definitely recommend poppin’ in. Fun spot

Just got a Philly steak at this place (Spinach, mushroom, provolone). This combination hit the spot! Great flavor. A nice balance of flavor.

I was the only person in Jake's when I ordered my sandwich at 11:51 am, yet I didn't get it until 12:21 pm -- a 30 minute wait for a cheesesteak! The cook was more interested in the soccer game on TV than serving customers. The sandwich was good, not great, but certainly not worth the wait. Disappointing.
