I had an excellent Mexican mocha here. Great coffee and service, and the prices are reasonable. It’s also quiet compared to many other busy coffee shops.

Really enjoyed my visit here! The coffee looks amazing, and their tiramisu is delicious. The staff is super friendly, making the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

Stumbled upon this coffee house & was impressed with the decor, friendly staff and variety of coffee beans to purchase. I had the masala chai and loved it. Did not order food as we had just finished a huge lunch across the street. I did buy a pound of beans and look forward to grinding them for my lattes in the morning.

A great local FAMILY owned small business. I stop by to get my coffee and lunch here on my work days. SF police and firefighters are in here frequently. Take food, and coffee for home brewing. Support your local small business. Happy Easter!

Excellent coffee shop in Bernal Heights. I'd recommend stopping by for a tumeric latte and one of their many amazing baked goods!

A true local, affordable, and good coffee shop is a place you see people from all walks of life come to enjoy the coffee before heading to work, playing sudoku, or talk about life. This is the place. The coffee and the bakery are good with a wide range of selections. What stands out the most for me is the communal vibe of this place. Would love to spend more time there and try more pastries.

Martha & Bros. Coffee is my new go to Cafe in Bernal Heights. I enjoyed the experience beginning with the ambience, customer service, product and the vibe of the neighborhood. In my opinion, Martha & Bros. is a great fit for the neighborhood. The Cafe is not overpriced compared to the other Cafe's in the area. The Cafe is filled with pastries, bagged coffee, and specialty coffee. I particularly like the bagels and fluffy cream cheese. If you do visit, the Cafe has both outdoor & indoor seating. Thank you Martha & Bros.

Ask for Karen, hands down makes the best coffee in the bay area! Don't know what you want? Let her choose a drink for you! Never disappoints. Staff is nice, place is clean, always busy. Good food. Vegan friendly options. Can't go wrong with the service here.

House coffee was amazing. I like that the outlets were fairly abundant since I came here to study.

On my way south out of SF, I was looking for a coffee spot to stop and grab a drink and a bite. Martha & Bros had decent reviews and was in the way. I was pleasantly surprised by the offerings when I arrived. Tons of food options, and a solid selection of flavored lattes too. Me and my wife got a couple drinks and a brownie. Both of our drinks were quite good. Strong flavor and on the sweeter side (how we like it). The brownie also was surprisingly good. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Martha & Brothers (just Martha’s if you’re local :) is one of the best coffee shops in San Francisco. The coffee and espresso is a rich, dark roast blend. We always get Americanos with hot milk and they are really perfection - of course there are mochas and chais and all kinds of specialty drinks but it all starts with the beans. Moreover all the staff are incredibly friendly (where else are you greeted with “hello, love”). The baristas are pro but humble — David is great and remembers your drink, and Giselle gets special mention for her strong Americanos. There is seating indoors and outside on a few tables. Big windows make it a refuge from the daily hustle, comfy place to meet a friend or to bang out a few emails while high on caffeine. There really is a Martha, she’s the owner and a local legend. If you get your coffee early enough you just might meet her and her infectious smile…

We stayed in Bernal Heights for our 2-day SF trip and stopped in at Martha’s both days. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming (they remembered our order when we came in the second time!) and you can tell this is a local favorite. The food and coffee were incredible and the service can’t be beat.

(Detailed review below) Food - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Accessibility - ⭐⭐ Ambiance - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cost - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Service - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food - Great selection of cakes which drew me here! Some good options for cold sandwiches and they also do some hot bagels. Good coffee too served either hot or cold. Food and drinks are served in takeaway cups/bags, plates are offered for sandwiches etc. Accessibility - Doors are propped opened for easy access, no steps (everything is on ground floor), standard restrooms (not accessible friendly), sitting areas are quite cram so wheelchair users will need to take seats along the walking area. Ambiance - Light and easy; big windows letting in loads of natural light (great for people watching too), casual and relaxed atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Some nice homely decor. Warm and inviting :-) Cost - Roughly between $2.50 and $4.50 for coffee (type and size dependent), cakes are the same too. Pretty good value for money. Tips - No table service, so just head straight to the counter and order your food/drinks. Have a nosy around though as there are cakes before and after the order point so I missed seeing some options. Free Wi-Fi available. And good speed. Service - Quick and fast. Staff are friendly and smiling!

Love the coffee here! Great coffee/mocha and they also have a nice variety of food items for breakfast including croissants, muffins, scones, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bagels etc. they have a really nice variety of teas too : ). I really enjoyed this coffee shop! Nicaraguan owned as well - so we had some beautiful Luis Miguel music playing in the background too.

The coffee was ok. My request to have cappuccino in ceramic cup was declined with “we do not this since covid”. The floor could use sweeping. There is some pile of “stuff” in the sitting area — does not help with the atmosphere. The food selection is impressive though. I have not tried though the food.

Extremely hard to find parking and horrible customer service. The cashier completely ignored us and served the people after us in line. Why would we just randomly stand in line if we didn’t need help?? The decent thing to do is to simply ask if a person has been helped yet. Eventually the lady making the drinks asked us so we don’t blame her but the cashier needs training. Would never support this location again.
