The chicken is good. The only bad thing i can say about it is the location. No parking, lots of homeless, metermaid juat hunting to give a ticket. I would go back for the chicken. But sadly I won't be back because of the location. Chicken is good!

Chicken was good. Reminds me of a place in Florida called Maryland Fried Chicken. Coleslaw was ok. Tasted mostly of Mayo. Enjoyed the mango drink. While eating a dude off the mission came in and was trying to have people buy stuff off him. Went table to table, everything was good until then.

We were here today. I had tried this chicken at the Los Angeles branch. I'm from Venezuela, this chicken is identical to a chicken chain called Arturo's. I'm so glad to find those flavors. The only one thing. I didn't like was the flan, because it's not what I I could expect from a creamy flan with a delicious caramel. Definitely not...!!! Very friendly and attentive staff. They make you feel like you're really welcome... Please never change. !! I will definitely return.

Hold off the salt!! The taste of the seasoning is flavorful but WAY too much salt was added. However, I do appreciate how juicy the meat was. The meat was wonderful and if you could just hold back on the salt and let the natural flavor of the meat come through then bravo. Some reviews here say that the skin is not crispy and to me, there's two reasons to this. The batter is thin if any, which can be good. I do enjoy a thin batter myself as opposed to the bigger chains where the skin is indiscernible from the batter. But that also means the skin gets soft quicker. However, I believe Pollo Campero's issue is that the oil needs to be changed more often. You can taste the "old oil" taste in the skin and it's not fresh. The meat was perfectly cooked so they have the cook time down. There's just these two small changes that needs to happen for Pollo Campero to be THE fried chicken spot in SF.

First of all I love pollo campero it's my favorite fried chicken ever, but this time I have to make a complaint about this restaurant food was good the staff was very nice and friendly, but today we had a very uncomfortable moment with my family and also the people around us, since this restaurant does not have someone or some security who is aware of what is happening, I do not want you to think that I am classist or discriminatory person but I do not like the fact that they let people from the street walk around each of the tables, my family and I saw how one of these people snatched their food from the table of one of the people who were eating which made us uncomfortable and we had to leave the place, I only say that there should be or at least some employee assigned to the doors that does not let these people in since it generates discomfort and also unhealthiness.

Food was good, but the staff was rude and the food over priced. 80$ for a 20 piece family meal is ridiculous. When we asked for more sauce they treated us as if we were beggars and not customers. Other franchises are much more friendly and accommodating.

It's been ages since I've had Pollo Campero, and I was really looking forward to it. However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the taste—it was dry, unpleasant, unappetizing, even had a bitter, burnt-like flavor. 🤢🤮🤮🤢 Whether it was overcooked or just old, I can't say. What I can say is that serving this kind of food is unacceptable. This experience left me with an undesired feeling to return. It's incredibly frustrating to have made the effort to have driven all the way to SF for such a disappointing meal. Save yourself the hassle and expense by steering clear of their food, especially if you live further up the peninsula like I do. As someone born and raised in the US, Pollo Campero holds a special place in my heart as a part of my family's cultural heritage. It brings back fond childhood memories of family gatherings with relatives from El Salvador or visits to El Salvador itself. That's why this experience has left me feeling particularly upset, and I'm certain it will keep me away from Pollo Campero for the next couple years without a doubt. Thank you for such a memorable experience! Customer service response: Thank you for getting in touch, but I must express my disappointment with your customer service. While I appreciate the outreach, the response—"I'm sorry we disappointed you. On your next visit, you can look for me, and we can give you a discount"—felt inadequate. Offering a discount doesn't fully address the negative experience I had. Why couldn't you offer a freshly prepared free meal to compensate for the bad experience or simply a refund instead? Aside of having a bad experience I now have to look for the manager to get a "discount"? Do you think having to look for the manager to get a "discount" is adequate customer service management?
