Amazing sandwich and coffee, lovely lovely staff. Honestly i am still drinking their drip coffee and it is some of the best i have ever had.
Great little place, lovely and polite staff. Little bit hard to find (enter 450 and before the lifts take a right to the Deli)
Came here with my family and the food was AMAZING the service here was really good and the prices were great for the food that you were getting. The waffle that I got was $10 but it was 100% worth it. It was crunchy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. I also got the hashbrowns which were only $3 and were the best I’ve ever had. Definitely would come here. Not crowded and in a nice area.
Wow, don't miss this unassuming little gem. The veggie burger 🍔 was superb and he was happy to make it a lettuce wrap. Wifi too! I'd go out of my way to come here again - note that you have to go into the large building to see the entrance. My small complaint is that my cappuccino defaulted to a paper cup for my in house order, but I'll just specify next time. Highly recommended.
Food was amazing, portions are very big and ingredients were fresh and of quality, and the gentleman serving us was very respectful and helpful, good spot!
Small little deli inside of 450 Sutter building. You wouldn't spot them from the street side. Entrance is through the building's front door or the garage entrance. Since it's inside, it's a little quieter than street-side cafes. A couple of seats for dine-in. Great service. Awesome sandwich. Fresh, not soggy with sauces. Bread is soft and crispy toasted, which is the type that I like. Good strong coffee. Great place to meet up for coffee or grab a quick lunch.
A tiny cute place, you need to turn to the right after the lobby entrance to find it. Everything is made with care. At peak hours you might have to wait a bit, but be assured that all sandwiches and drinks are good and the service ultra professional . I have tried both their cold brew and chai latte
I wandered in here because I was staying in the Marriott next door and happened to see on Google Maps that a cafe next door had good reviews and reasonable prices—and that it was hidden away inside a Wells Fargo parking garage. I wanted an affordable pastry and good coffee and got exactly what I wanted. I might go back because every sandwich on the menu including the breakfast croissant looks so amazing. Access thru the Wells Fargo parking garage or ATM lobby and look for a subtle overhead sign reading “Sutter Street Cafe.”
Cozy place with the nicest people! Had a delicious bagel egg sandwich with a nice avocado substitute for the meat. Can’t wait to come back and try a drink!
Just got to town, haven’t been able to find a decent meal, this is the place to go. Sandwiches were both excellent. Quick, good price great selection. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food and coffee with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Felt you had poped round to a friends. Extremely good value, a little gem tucked away.
I can confidently say this is the best vegan sandwich I've ever had! This place has great and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
The best breakfast we found in the region. Tucker away in the garage of an apartment building, the service is great and great taste of food. Try the new chocolate chai latte! We were there with an other group of Dutch attendees of the Microsoft Ignite conference.
Popped in for breakfast whilst staying in a hotel nearby. Excellent service, food came out fast and fresh. Orange juice was freshly pressed and the coffee was good (except I’m British and don’t normally drink coffee!)
Found this place on a recent business trip to the area. I was sick of the finer dining options in the area and just wanted a really good sandwich. Sutter St Cafe sits inside the lobby of large building, so you have to know where it is to find it. The place isn't huge, but it's cozy and welcoming. Most important, the sandwiches are fantastic! I created my own on a sourdough roll. The roll was toasted and warm, but the sandwich toppings were cold and fresh. I couldn't have made it better myself. Do yourself a favor and give Sutter St Cafe a try. I'm going to think about that perfect turkey sandwich for a long time.
My kiddo and I tried this place out on a recent trip to SF. We were looking for a place where the kiddo to get a burger and this popped up with great ratings. It also looked like it was a less "touristy" place to try and that was definitely the case! In fact, we missed the little sign in the lobby that directed you to the deli and ended up entering through the parking garage - we really weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into. What we got were two HUGE sandwiches. Kiddo got their burger and I tried the Joe's Special. Both were delicious and we left both happy and completely stuffed. We would definitely revisit Sutter Street Cafe if we were in the area again. Great local find!
Eating a piece of art. I’ve been here several times over the years. The sign at the door said “try our new garlic shrimp sandwich”, I was happy to oblige. Sandwich was delicious in the services always exceptional. I also ordered desserts as well.
Probably going to come here every morning for the rest of my trip. Got the sausage egg and cheese with a hash brown inside. Is it the best sandwich in the world? Nope. Will it do? Yep. That'll do. Small but mighty kitchen. Super friendly. Might get crowded and backed up in the morning.
Adorable and delicious little deli! Staff were cheerful and welcoming, food was good, coffee was strong!
Tiny little unsuspecting deli with AMAZING sandwiches. I had the veggie black bean sandwich. Was to die for. All day breakfast and sandwich menu.
*All-Day Breakfast available*. Perfect little hole in the wall family owned Deli in the heart of the city. Service is quick and polite. Easy walk from Union square area. Access to the deli from the street is easiest from the parking garage entrance. Not visible from the street. Food was outstanding. Got the”AM Special” breakfast sandwich with bacon 🥓 egg 🍳 and cheese 🧀 on an English muffin. Came with a free hash brown on the side. The English muffin was perfectly toasted -never soggy, and just the right amount of crunch! I got the roast beef sandwich to go for later.
This little sandwich shop is tucked away on the first floor of the business building. The service is quick and friendly. I had a half order of the Sutter street special — nice toasted French baguette with arugula, fresh mozzarella and prosciutto— very light and tasty. My son got a build your own sandwich and they were generous with the roast beef.
Absolute banger of a cafe. The food tastes and feels like a saturday morning breakfast with the family. Super fresh, super yummy and you can definitely taste the care they put into it. Not to mention the folks running the place are so friendly and welcoming!! And to top it all off — if you’re in before 11 AM you get a small coffee and hash brown for free?? Come onnnn!!!!! Do yourself a favor and stop for a bite to eat. Vibes are immaculate 👌.
The sandwiches in here are next level, not something you've ever had before. So delicious! If you are hungry, eat here. You get plenty of food and the service is great!
Hidden Gem!! We got their gourmet sandwiches and they were packed with filling. Delicious combinations of sandwiches and prices were great. Order the Jumbo Cheeseburger or Joe’s Special
Delicious and an absolute gem! I had an incredible breakfast and we went back to get sandwiches to go. This is by far the best place we've eaten at so far in San Fran. It's a hidden gem, you need to enter a large building and follow signs for the deli. Service was awesome.
Look for the door to what looks like a hotel behind the jewelry store. 9 two person tables and 3 bar stools in this tiny space. I ate a southwestern sandwich and tasted great with toasted bread roll and perfect ingredients quantity. Gluten free bread available. Boba smoothies and milk teas also available thai tea with boba is perfect sweetness and a slight coffee taste to it. Not far from Trolly stops in China town.
Loved the breakfast here, it is the most wonderful hole in the wall in the neighbourhood. It is inside a parking lot which can get a little hard to spot. But once you’re in it feels very cozy. The sandwiches and smoothies are both wonderful! The service is a little slow but that’s because all the ingredients are fresh and all food is made from scratch. I’d highly recommend this spot!

Probably the best roast beef sandwich I’ve ever had! It’s in the office building so don’t walk past. Such fresh ingredients and lovely serving staff
Honestly the best thing I’ve eaten while visiting San Francisco!!! I wish they were opened on the weekends. We are here to visit and went to some of the fancier restaurants and they were below exportations especially those on the pier. They’re high/expensive for no reason. Will easily come again. The service, the freshness, the quality. 10/10 I highly recommend.
Terrific little cafe hidden away inside the 450 Sutter Building that has truly friendly service, excellent coffee and perhaps the best sandwiches in SF! The Black Bean Veggie Patti is a taste tour de force (healthy too). Def worth searching out if you’re in the area.

I ordered online and went to pick it up. The place was a bit hard to find and didn’t look very clean. Honestly, I wouldn’t have ordered from here if it wasn’t online. But the sandwich was really good! The coffee had way too much milk and was pretty lukewarm though.
Delicious coffee and a wonderful breakfast sandwich we're what we had today. The dining area is very small and older. I'm sure most people just come and grab takeaway here.
Unassuming little spot. Picked up breakfast here and it was exactly what I was looking for. Got the breakfast combo with over easy eggs. Eggs were cooked perfectly as was the bacon. Everything was delicious.
The place could trow you out a little bit because it is located next to a parking lot and doesn’t look super fancy but the beverages and the food were quite nice. The owner or the person that took our order was super nice and attentive.
It's called the Sutter Street Deli when you walk in the building. Not visible from the street, have to walk into the building entrance and walk down the hall towards the garage. Good food. Fresh and high quality ingredients. I had the omellete, and it was good. Tiny little dining area - 8 small tables and a 3-person bar. Good service. Nice workers.
A "hole in the wall" but the food was great. It is also known as the Sutter Street Deli! That is good information to know when asking around for it. Check out my pictures. I had the sourdough breakfast sandwich and the people there were very friendly. I would go there again for any meal and even snacks!

Small place that is a jewel to be found. Serving delicious food and warm drinks made our visit to the city excellent and put pep in our morning steps.
