Food is delicious. Ordered on DoorDash and was very pleasantly pleased. Not usually a big fan of tofu but I'm hooked here. Absolutely on my list to reorder.

Their service and foods are fabulous. They even can answer all our concern about the level of spicy about the foods because we afraid the spicy can make our stomach not comfortable. At last they even gave us dessert to relieve our stomach. Come hungry, leave happy! Definitely recommended! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Best fresh spicy fish in the bay area! Even better than some resturants in China! The fish is so tender and fresh. The fu qi fei pian was a little mid, but the spicy dumpling was amazing

Lucky to drop by at this restaurant, though little disappointed that we did not get The Tilapia…… but they gave us another option which wasn’t so bad,

It was so good we didn't take any photos! We really enjoyed the Yi Bin noodles, the Dan Dan Noodles, Beef Noodle Soup (make it spicy), Poached Beef in Chili Oil, Cucumber salad, and Pork Dumplings. Our lips were all tingling by the end! Fair prices and good quantities. Would definitely return! Returned 9/1/24 for the Yi Bin Noodles – so good! Update 10/26/24 I've had the Yi Bin Noodles three times now – they are soo good! Love this place. Update 12/25/25 I love love love this place, especially the Yi Bin Noodles! This place is fantastic – delicious food, great service, great prices. I can't wait to do it all again soon.

I can't believe I have never been here before! Everything we ordered was amazing. The smoked duck, dumplings in chili oil, lotus bulbs w/ celery, cooked cabbage w/ sichuan pepper, fried chicken with spicy peppers. All amazing. Would honestly go and order the same thing all over again! One note is that they could play some music for vibes :)

TLDR: nice lingering spice of tasty food with good service! We ordered the fried fish with chilis in Ainu wok and that was fantastic! The spice is more numbing than burning but it is very spicy to me still! We also ordered the braised pork belly and that was a nice balance to the meal. They also provided us with free sweet and sour soup which was a nice start to the meal. Come check it out if you’re looking for a nice spice and northern Chinese cuisine

Came here for lunch. Lots of options for one person lunch. From dumping to noddle. Seems authentic Sichuan food. But most of the servers are speaking Cantonese. I ordered a five spiced beef rice noddle soup. It tasted great. This is not a typical Sichuan dish. Instead, it is a mixed dish between Sichuan and Cantonese food.

This place has some seriously good Dan Dan Noodles. And you get a really sizable portion for the price! They also make a really good Kung Pao Chicken, with a nice spice; they add a bunch of chilis for a Sichuan-style kick.

Food 4.5 fresh and well seasoned; Ambiance 3; Service 4.5 attentive and helpful; Nice balance of flavor and spice, my new favorite because of the variety for those who don't want spice and they are not shy about the spice if you like it hot; 2 people; $67

Recently opened neighborhood Sichuan Restaurant. Great food at very good price, given Sichuan cuisines tend to be pricier. The best part here is how "nice" this place is for a Chinese restaurant. The store is very clean and waiters are very friendly, often stopping by to ask how our food is. Will come back again!

I went when it wasn't very busy so I was served immediately. Food was good, but not nearly as spicy as I was expecting. The kind lady working that day was very patient with me and walked me through the menu which I really appreciated. Overall great experience and I look forward to coming back!

Came here for lunch yesterday and got the lunch special with soup and Poached Beef in Chili oil. Everything was delicious. I came in with no idea what I wanted and let them decide for me which is my favorite way to try a new spot. Will be back!

Delicious Szechuan cuisine at very reasonable prices! I’ve been coming here for years - my favorites are the iron pot fish fillet and chongqing small noodle. Recommend normal spice for these for the flavor but this is definitely for people who can handle spicy food! This place deserves more hype!

Stopped in for some classic Szechuan dishes and overall had a really solid experience. The food was bold, flavorful, and packed with spice, though a little on the salty side across a couple of dishes. Highlights: * Dan Dan Noodles - one of the best dishes of the night. Perfect chew on the noodles and a sauce that balanced spice and nuttiness really well. * Pig Ears - surprisingly delicious! Great texture and seasoning, definitely a standout and something I'd recommend. * Dry-Fried Green Beans - crisp, garlicky, and addictive. * Beef with Peppers - tender slices with plenty of heat, though again a touch salty. * Fish Fillet with Chili - tasty and fresh, but I've had stronger versions elsewhere in the city, so not my personal favorite here. The portions were generous, the food came out quickly, and everything had that signature Szechuan punch of heat and flavor. If you like bold dishes and don't mind a little extra salt, this place is definitely worth a visit.

I ordered happy hour food delivery from here and was pretty satisfied with what I received. It’s nice that this place participates in the DoorDash happy hour promotions so that I can try multiple dishes for a late lunch or early dinner without having to go out and struggle to find parking on Irving Street. Cucumber salad: 3.5/5 The flavor was very garlicky. I didn’t really taste much vinegar or soy sauce. I think it would be better if it were less salty but still glad I ordered it, as the crispness of the cucumbers balanced out the meal. Dry sautéed string beans: 4/5 These string beans had pretty standard flavour, but they were longer than average and slightly undercooked. I still enjoyed them, especially since they were less greasy than what I’ve received from some other places. Iron pot fish filets: 5/5 The fish fillets were amazing with all the Sichuan spices and chili oil. If I dined in, I would likely ask them to increase the spiciness, but they still taste great at the default spice level.

We were a party of 4 and we were craving for Chinese food. It was our first time eating here and the menu looked good with photos. The prices seemed reasonable for San Francisco. We enjoyed our dinner. The only caution is to make sure to pay attention to whether the dish is spicy or not. I ordered the grilled fish pot and it came very spicy. I still ate the dish since it was delicious.

Came in pretty late shortly before they closed with a large group. It was empty except for us. The food came out quickly and the staff were really friendly and even took a photo for us. One issue though is that the quantity of the food isn't a lot. So, while I guess the dishes are family style, for a Chinese restaurant it just wasn't a lot. It tasted really good though!

Went with a high expectation after reading good reviews for vegetarian food, but felt the taste was only average. Tried the vegetable potstickers, Dan Dan noodles, Mapo Tofu. The tofu was extremely soft but didn't exactly feel as spicy as it was marked super spicy on the menu (note: my spice appetite is pretty good). Potstickers were good but the very popular noodles actually felt undercooked and very chewy - but the host said that's how they're prepared so I guess it didn't fit my palette but can work for others. Service was pretty friendly and ambience was casual.

Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered a pickle Fish takeaway. After we getting home that the fish was raw. This is unacceptable. When we went back to the restaurant to question it, the owner casually told us that we were supposed to cook it ourselves at home — something that was never mentioned when ordering. We ordered takeout specifically because we did not want to cook. Selling raw food as takeaway without clear notice is misleading and irresponsible, especially for a fish dish that should be fully cooked. This shows a serious lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Will never come back and do not recommend this place at all.
