A city gem to say the least! I’ve been here about a handful of times now and I can honestly say that the Winery Collective has quickly become one of my favorite Bay Area tasting rooms! Yes, it’s located in a touristy area but there is nothing “touristy” about it. Whenever I visit, whether I’m with friends or ridin’ solo, the amazing staff always welcomes me with open arms. Kostas, Mike, and the rest of the team are so fun and knowledgeable. The customer service is absolutely unparalleled, as are their delicious wines. I’ve brought a few friends here and they have all raved about the great wines and fun atmosphere. Just last month, I brought a few friends who were visiting from New Jersey. During their trip to the Bay Area, they also explored Napa and Sonoma Valley. They told me that they had more fun at the tasting room than they did in wine country! This truly isn’t shocking though as the atmosphere here is so much more homey and fun. And let’s not forget about their wines! I love that they have a collective of different local wine labels to choose from. They’ve got some amazing vintages and their red wines are where they truly shine. I’m currently hooked on their delicious Syrah. Stopped by about 3 weeks ago and took a bottle of it home with me. I should also mention that their bottle prices are very reasonable, especially considering the area. I hold this adorable little tasting room near and dear to my heart. If you’re hanging near Fisherman’s Wharf or are just simply looking for an excellent wine bar in the city, it doesn’t get better than a visit to the Winery Collective. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Brilliant bar to go to for a glass of wine or tasting flight. Winery Collective products are very high quality and only available from their shop in San Francisco. Our host Kostas was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He was able to pick out wines from the collection that suited our tastes perfectly, but also introduced us to wines which broadened our palates. I would highly recommend visiting Winery Collective for a very enjoyable wine tasting experience 🍷🥂👌🏼

Costas, was brilliant, really passionate about the products, which always makes the tasting more fun ! We did the Mixed Tasting which at $25 dollars was great value. 4 out of the 5 wines were top dollar. So much so we bought 2 of the wines. Thank you Costas !

Well where do we start??? Chose a mixed wine flight and if I wasn't flying back to England I would of bought a bottle of each wine back!! Settled on the Chardonnay & Syrah/Grenache..Our host Costas was a joy... Very knowledgeable without being condescending. You can tell he loves his role. He is a great ambassador and asset to the company. If I ever return to SF this would be top of the list to sample another wine flight. Thank you Costas for making it a wonderful afternoon. Hard to describe how good our tasting experience was. In short, it is a must try whether you’re a SF local or a tourist wandering fisherman’s wharf. The service was incredible and the wine was amongst the best I have tried. We got to learn a lot about the local wines in the area and had a very genuine and amazing experience. Was the highlight of our visit to San Francisco.

Great experienc! We were two and tasted 10 wines. (Two flights - mix & red). We were looking for a great tasting experience without having to visit an actual vineyard outside of San Francisco. Winery collective has a solid assortiment of californian wines to try. Special shoutout to our host Kostas. He is very knowledgeable about the wines they are serving and talked us through each wine in detail. Lovely experience! Absolutely recommend if you are in search of californian wine tasting but also just a glass of great wine. Thanks!

Wine tasting has always been a favorite activity of mine and San Francisco did not disappoint. Winery Collective has an array of wines to choose from that will surely please any wine connoisseur. The prices are comparable to those establishments in Napa Valley and Temecula, California. This was the only wine tasting spot I found on or around the Wharf. The atmosphere is great and the staff is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. More importantly, the wines are great. If wine tasting is something that interest you, I definitely recommend stopping by here when visiting San Francisco.

This has been a long due review but anyways, i give this company a solid 5 stars for their top notch costumer service, exquisite selections of wines, good location, well maintained cleanliness and reasonable price that is justified by their good service. Me and my friends had a wonderful experience and we’ll for sure come back for more!!!

Such a wonderful hidden gem at the edge of Fisherman's Wharf!🍷 Upon stepping into the tasting room, the atmosphere and decor makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Rioja or Tuscany. The staff is very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. They have a great selection of wines from small California boutique wineries across multiple regions. You can choose from various tastings, wines by the glass, bottles or let them know your preferences and they'll customize a tasting for you. Kostas and Christopher made great recommendations after I let them know the types of varietals I preferred. Bonus, they play great music and the friendly atmosphere lends to fun chats with other patrons. I'll definitely be bringing friends who come to visit SF!

Kostas and his boyfriend Christopher were especially memorable—warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful when it came to guiding selections. They made the tasting feel relaxed and personal, sharing great insight without ever being pushy. Between the diverse wine lineup and their welcoming energy, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to linger—and return to. 🍷

We walked by Winery Collective on a Sunday afternoon and were able to grab seats at the bar. Loved the atmosphere and both Kostas and the other person behind the bar (don’t remember his name!) were wonderful and very knowledgeable about the wine. They were also playing great music and we had a fun time also talking about music with the folks behind the bar. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic people, great space and vibes, killer music playing at all times, and of course an incredible selection of wine. The staff is beyond helpful and very clearly care about ensuring that everyone has an unforgettable experience. Shout out to the staff that seem to really know how to curate a playlist to complement whatever is going on. Looking forward to many more trips to the Collective!

The wines were all amazing. They have options to mix it up, stick to whites or reds, or personalize a flight which makes it a great experience for everyone. Although we did not try any, they also had a few non wine options like mimosas! Highly recommend going here!

Great little wine bar tucked away in the Argonaut hotel at the Wharf. I always meet great people there. Its a great place to hangout if you are traveling or need a break from walking around. The staff is knowledgeable and are good at picking wines according to your tastes.

Kostas and Mike did such a great job at making me feel welcomed and provided a Napa experience right here in my backyard. Thank you for making my birthday so special.

We had a fantastic time during our tasting, Michael is incredibly knowledgeable and takes you on a journey through the flights of wine. We shared a Seeing Red and Light Flight and the toughest thing was deciding which bottles to buy at the end of them (not compulsory but you'll probably want to)
