Scoperto questo posto per caso,eravamo in giro per Cuneo io la mia compagna e i nostri due figli (neonata,e 2anni). Che dire accoglienza ottima ,locale molto carino pulito e ben gestito. I piatti molto ben presentati quasi un peccato mangiarli,qualità ottima e quantità giusta. Sicuramente torneremo e terremo trattoria Roma come riferimento 🙏

We had an impeccable lunch at Trattoria Roma, an absolute must-try in the heart of Cuneo. After a stroll around the city, we stopped here, and it was a perfect choice. The meal starts off well with excellent bread and breadsticks, a sign of attention to even the simplest details. The vitello tonnato is one of the best we've tasted: incredibly tender meat, a balanced, creamy yet unobtrusive sauce. The hot dish is also excellent, comforting and carefully prepared, a perfect example of Piedmontese cuisine done properly, without frills but with great technique and respect for tradition. The service is friendly, professional, and never rushed, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the atmosphere is authentic, like that of a true trattoria—something that's becoming increasingly rare these days. The food here is truly excellent, with quality ingredients and generous portions, leaving you satisfied and smiling. A place to keep in mind and recommend without hesitation to anyone passing through Cuneo. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations!

Trattoria like it used to be, since 1939. The photos on the website don't do this warm and welcoming place justice. Family-run, with the owners always ready for a chat. The tajarin with sausage ragù are highly recommended (I had seconds...) and the chocolate "bonet" dessert, a typical Piedmontese treat. The original metal sign, dating back to 1939, is legendary. Highly recommended. We'll be back.

I can't recommend it enough! We ate divinely well. The 33-yolk tajarin, the plin with three roasts, and the veal with tuna sauce are definitely worth trying! The desserts are also very good. The service was attentive and courteous. We'll definitely be back! Thank you.

We visited this town for the first time and decided to try a local restaurant for lunch. We really enjoyed the food and were impressed by the excellent service. For dessert, I had coffee paired with the local chocolate, which was a delightful choice.

This was my second dinner at this trattoria, and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and meticulously maintained. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, featuring traditional Piedmontese dishes with a modern twist. This time, I tried the corn-crusted egg with caramelized shallots, hazelnuts, and Toumin del Mel cheese. Simply exquisite! The gnocchi with Cuneo blue cheese and hazelnuts were also excellent. And to finish, the hazelnut tart with zabaglione mousse was delicious! Reading the menu, I noticed they also cater to those with food intolerances and vegetarian options. The bill was reasonable. Congratulations, keep up the good work!!

Traditional and authentic local food, served in a beautiful, yet intimate courtyard. Each dish we had was excellent, and save room for dessert because there's no ho-hum tiramisu here, we had flavorful cakes with seasonal fruits and rich creams on the side. 😋

Trattoria Roma was a wonderful discovery. The restaurant is set in a beautiful courtyard. The interior is very welcoming and divided into several rooms. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu is rich in traditional Piedmontese dishes; the veal with tuna sauce and the Fassone steak tartare are truly exceptional. The wine list is extensive. Excellent value for money.

Excellent trattoria, I had the ravioli, and the owners were very kind. Menu is in italian with a good english translation, and the service is excellent with staff that can speak acceptable English. Reasonable prices, really quite inexpensive considering the quality. Highly recommended!

The "burnie" with artichokes and giardiniera were a surprise; the veal with tuna sauce was delicious; the tajarin with sausage sauce; and the vegetarian zucchini, canellini, and potato meatballs. The goat's milk ice cream with a hint of chestnut honey was truly unique. The owners were incredibly kind. This is our second visit when we're in the Cuneo area, and I think we'll definitely be back!

Very good, a pleasant discovery. Very well-kept setting, equally well-chosen details. Sober and kind service, excellent. Fast too. The tajarin with sausage ragù were very good, then the dessert was special: semifreddo with mint and coffee. A combination unknown to me but made by them works great. I wasn't very hungry and I didn't try appetizers and main courses, but it's worth going back to increase to 5*.

Blindly relying on the Osterie d’Italia guidebook, we chose this osteria in the heart of Cuneo. The guidebook indicated it was a bit more expensive than usual. And that was true. Well, then we were a bit disappointed: the food was okay, a bit lackluster, but the higher price wasn't justified. We were also placed in an uninviting back room (while the more inviting part was empty), with the clumsy homework assignments from one of the owners' painting classes on the wall. Nevertheless, I still wholeheartedly recommend the Osterie d’Italia guide (also available as an app for less than €8).
