We visited this lovely venue for bagna cauda, ​​a Piedmontese classic. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the tables are well-spaced, and the decor details are unique. NEW MANAGEMENT, NEW ENERGY For years, I've been writing reviews of the places I go and trying to convey the restaurant's approach. The setting of the small village of Cella Monte is already an attraction. Today, it was a real discovery for me, living in Turin. Today, I found Nuovo Carpino to be an excellent choice for what we were looking for. Convenient parking is available, and the outdoor seating is very pleasant. The new owner (who's been in business for a few weeks) is very friendly and welcoming, and you can tell she's eager to give her best. The menu is appropriately limited (it's a mistake to offer an endless menu) with excellent dishes. We didn't want to overeat for lunch, but the excellent and complete platter was there, and we shared a boiled meat with mashed potatoes and a glass of good wine. Excellent value, it's a place you can go without spending a fortune on a quick lunch, and then, if you want, have a full meal. I found it truly enjoyable and will return with friends.

A classic village bar, but strategically located, with a beautiful view of the hills in front. We had an aperitif, and along with the wine, they brought a platter of pizzas and various sandwiches. Plus, the prices are fair—I approve! 👍🏻

It's a village bar that also offers food, so you have to adapt. However, it offers several advantages: good, affordable food and friendly, helpful staff. They've just changed management and need to get organized. However, in my opinion, you have to appreciate their goodwill and trust them. The porcini mushrooms were the best I've had in recent months. As for the homemade pasta, they said they're getting organized. It wasn't their own and lacked salt, making it healthier. It's worth returning; it will definitely be of a higher standard. The ratings are low due to their new ownership, but I'm sure it's worth returning to improve the experience and raise the ratings. I don't want to be critical of the ratings, but rather objective and encouraging improvement. There aren't many restaurants where I plan to return soon. As I travel a lot for work, I prefer home-cooked, authentic cuisine.

In the region not many places are open during the weekday. We arrived at 2:45, which was after the kitchen closed but the server very generously offered to make us a some sandwiches which were delicious. We also tried a fruit tart, beer and espresso for a very reasonable total bill.
